Welcome to the Pals Blog Hop for June. This month we are excited to show off new Stampin' Up! products from the just released 2015 – 2016 annual catalog. We hope you find great inspiration from the projects. Get your wish list ready!
You may just be starting the blog hop or may have come from Denise Hoepfner at The Mountain Magpie, number 17 on the Pals Hop. If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all the projects.
There is so much to love with this new catalog so I tried to put as much in the card that I could….(my FUN order isn't to be here until Friday so I am still working with a limited amount)
I am a true blue clean and simple gal – I love a very straight forward project and I am head over heels with the Background Designer Series Stacks – LOVE THEM…the prints are so fun and fresh!
Today I used selections from the Brights collection and the 1" square punch. So easy to turn the daffodil paper to an angle to get the effect of horizontal and vertical stripes with the square punch!
I think working and playing with paper is key in keeping cards/projects affordable plus it gives you sooooo many different ways to show your creativity!
It simple does not get any easier than this – POP of paper….adhere and done!
The hostess stamp sets are great! This one, Happy Birthday, Everyone has not only a great Image as shown here…but it also comes with a super variety of sentiments to "tag along" It really is not as hard as you think to earn rewards for a hostess set!
If you follow my blog (and I hope you do/will), than you know I adore my dashes and dots….the white gel pen is an all time favorite of mine and I also adore working with Bakers twine. It is not only sooooo darn affordable, it can create a wow in an instant!
Well…thoughts???? Would this perky Birthday Card make you happy! If you have time, please leave me a comment and let me know your thoughts!
There is lots of HOPPING to do…so please have fun….be a sponge and take it all in – there is so much to see and I realize that it takes a while for us to "figure out" the new catalog…I am thankful that we have a HOP like this to help!
The next stop is Debra Simonis at Deb's Stampin' Grounds, number 19 on the Pals Blog Hop! Thanks for visiting; I hope to see you on next month’s Pals Hop!

The color combination sings summer fun to me. I adore everything about this card. Is there a card you create that I don’t like?
What a beautiful quilt card you created Susan, the colors are so fresh and lovely. I just love everything about it down to that sweet Whisper White Baker’s Twine and loops.
This is such a cheerful card, Susan. You are a master at turning clean & simple into beautiful!
I LOVE this card, Susan! So bright and fresh!
Love this card. It is a classic and would work well for any age. I guess that is the definition of classic. The colors and design just say “Fun”. Thanks for another great idea.
I totally agree with Michelle’s comment. This card is purely summer and definitely fun, fun, fun! A big “Whoot, Whoot!”
Yes this card makes me happy:). Love the colors and design, will have to case this one for sure.
This card puts the “Happy” in Happy Birthday! How about BFF, BRIGHT, FRESH, and FUN! Do you know how hard I work on these comments? Anyway, this is so fun – about the only person who wouldn’t like it might be Scrooge before the ghosts visits or someone who hates those colors! This card style is a real keeper, changes in colors and sentiments and you have a whole file box of cards made out of scraps! Thanks for the tip on just moving the paper for vertical lines instead of the diagonal – definitely a DUH moment there! Well, gotta hop along now!
Love it – clean, fresh and fun! Would be interesting to play around with different colors. This card definitely makes me smile 🙂
This is a fun and colorful card without being fussy. I love it!
This card would make anyone’s day! Great card!
So funny…I was thinking exactly the same thing as Michelle when I saw this card! I have yet to see a card that you have made that I don’t like. And you always have wonderful tips to offer. I never would have thought of turning the diagonal stripe to punch out as horizontal. I love the colors too – very fresh and summery.
Fun card, so bright and cheery! Glad your power is back and hope things are back to normal ( whatever that is).
Hope Norman continues to improve.
Stunning! Clean and simple, yes. Boring, no! It reminds me of a quilt you might lay on the ground for a summer picnic.
Delightful card and your colors are so happy together!
This screams summer and fun to me! Love!
LOVE the color choices on this card. Fun, summery and full of joy!
Beautiful card, as always! This would be a great way to use up scraps of DSP too!
Absolutely fantastic! I love this card and think I should probably case it!
Love your clean and simple Susan! The beauty of your cards is in all the sweet details!
I, for one, would love to receive this card. The colors are so happy and bright. It’s clean and simple with plenty of texture and thought. Just what a handmade card should be…from the heart.
