Now this is my kinda card! I love just about everything about it! Crumb Cake is one of my all time favorite colors to work with….WHY? It looks great with just about anything! If you put a neutral like I did today…..GREAT! If you put a bright color with it…..FUN! If you put a subtle color with it……STUNNING!
When you really look at this card…you can see how easy and do-able it is but at the same time the WOW and sheer classiness of it is there! The saying "less is best"….is so true many times!!!
The Big Shot and the Embossing Folders are what brought this card to life….and just think – how darn' simple! I used the Petals-a-plenty and the Fancy Fan Folders and then did a simple POP with the Postage Stamp Punch! How easy!
Lining then up and matting them on Crumb Cake was a cinch and I wanted to let the sentiment from the Sweet Essentials Stamp Set shine….so I carefully stamped it on the bottom using the Stamp-a-ma-jig . Works like a charm every time! I was soooo glad that this stamp set carried over this year….it's a keeper!

Adding a bit of bling came from the Itty Bitty Punches and using the glue dots kept them in place! We all know "pearls are a girls best friends" so…..naturally they needed to make an appearance!
We know I needed to do something fun to the envelope…so why not see an embossed piece of paper on the outside of the flap!?!? Works fro me and it looks sooooo pretty! Because I knew that I was hand delivering this card – I decided to use the same embellishments on the outside….FUN – right???

I hope that this post inspires you that it is ok to keep things to a minimal…This card is beautiful and one that anyone would love to receive and cherish!
Please email me or leave me a comment on how you like it! I love the classic and clean lines it brings! I am super excited for today as we are having a PALS call on all of the scoop and feedback of the new holiday catalog….it is very special….just like YOU!
Thanks for popping by and until tomorrow!

The effect of squares with a little color showing between them always appeals to me. I LOVE the addition of the texture from the embossing folders! This card is beautiful! I may be CASEing it soon!
I love tone on tone cards and you did it beautifully. Gorgeous card. I must try it.
I love the card. I am enjoying using my embossing folders and this is a great way to use more than one on a card. Thank you.
Beautiful card. I can also see it as a wedding card.
I am enjoying your cards so much. Thank you for sharing them.
Stunning! Just love it. The embossing really stands out and it reminds me of a quilt. I like how the postage stamps lined up and left a tiny circle at the points. Thank you so much for sharing!
How unique! Love this effect. Will try it soon.
The envelope finishes it off so well. Thanks.
What did you do first? I am new to Stampin UP. Did you emboss, then cut? I love the card. They would be great for a birthday.
Beautiful, elegant card! Love it!
Well Susan you did it again! My eyes nearly popped out of my head when I saw your card! 🙂 Absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!! I will definitely be making this one. TFS!!!
Beautiful card!
My kind of card!

I really love clean and simple cards, and like you, agree that less is better in most cases. I do not enjoy looking at cards that are “so busy” with so much stuff on them that it takes away from the point of the sentiment, which I think is very important, just my two bits worth:)
Love this card. Will definitely be trying something like this. Thanks for sharing.
Thought of a wedding card also. Maybe in the wedding colors or black and white. Beautiful in every way. Thanks a bunch.
Would you quit making these gorgeous cards!?! I can’t CASE all your cards! But, this one is a definite! I just am totally in love with this card! Since you are hand delivering it, I guess it is not coming to me. Just kidding! Sure envy the person who receives it though!
Wow!! Simple but so beautiful. You have quite an eye for card making.
I really enjoy your posts everyday
Hi Susan! Love this card! I immediately thought of Christmas for some reason and putting those adorable mini punches in the center of each square. So cute! Thank you for sharing your incredible talent!
