It’s time for another Pals Paper Art Challenge! Today’s challenge is a color challenge using Crushed Curry, Midnight Muse and Early Espresso. Super rich and yummy colors together!
I was 1st going to do something with the Magnificent Maple Stamp and then I remembered a card that I did several weeks ago and it was well received so - why reinvent the wheel???…how about some simple changes and PRESTO a new card that looks fabulous!
Please make sure that you go the the Pals Paper Art Website and check out all of the super ideas using these 3 colors! You will be in awe with the talent…and then YOU play as well!
Please click here to see the previous post I did and you will see the similarity and also how making minor changes can produce you a new look! On that post you will find the specifics of this card!
SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT: – Why do we stress to try to do something totally new when it comes to making cards!
The thought of the day for you is: When you are content and happy with something…keep it as a formula and do it over and over again just changing up colors, sentiments etc…!!!
As I shared yesterday that my hubbie had an accident, this is even more of the reason why this concept will work for me during these next several weeks! I have many cards that I have created that I really like…I am going to change them up a bit and you are going to love them!!!
The change in this card is the sentiment and punch I used! This comes as a bundle and you know what that means…you save 15% when you order it as a bundle! The Stamp Set is called Tags for You and the Label Bracket Punch.
This is an “A List” Stamp Set and I have seen some SUPER CUTE ideas using all 4 of these stamps made from a PAL that I can see a CASE coming….real soon!
Did you see that I framed and matted the sentiment with 2 pieces of very vanilla and stretched them on either side of the stamped one…little tricks like this add interest and using stampin’ dimensionals to lift it up makes it clean and fun!
It’s hard to believe that it is September? This is the time of the year that we get rolling and think about projects that we want to do….so….with this said…why not consider being a Hobbiest Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator ?
Here is a simple question I want you to think about…WHY WOULDN’T YOU? You have absolutely nothing to lose as you can cancel at anytime and the thing that you will gain is…getting your products at a discount any day of the year!
For $99.00 you will be able to pick whatever your hearts desire is in the amount of $125.00 and it ships for free!!!… anything you want or need…..even if you did this and nothing after – fine with me but trust me…you would not stop here cause…..ready for this…YOUR 1st order will be 30% off you entire order!
Think about it….email me

Susan, This is a wonderful formula for a wonderful card! Your work is always so crisp. Love it! All the best to your husband!
Your CAS style is spot on today! Love this color combo, def going to try it too! Hope hubby will be better soon!
Another WOW! Susan card! I MUST try the layering technique you use. it’s uber cool!
WOW! This card is spectacular. Great job. I love the colors and the layering is perfect.
Susan, Your card looks so clean and elegant. Thanks for sharing. I was preparing to send out my monthly birthday/anniversary cards and found three that I really liked better than others so I laid those aside to do just what you suggested – same style but different stamps or paper. When a card is a winner then we need to use it and use it. Thanks again for your excellent cards – I’ve been following you for a short while now. Evelyn B
Great card, Susan! Love your use of the Color Challenge this week.
Simple and striking! Hope your hubby recovers fast!
I love your DSP frame and matching envelope! The colors look fantastic together!
Hi Susan,
Great card. Definitely one to copy and keep on hand. Love the colors. Thanks a bunch. How is hubby doing?):)
As usual, you’ve done it again, really like this layered look and colors, and the stamp set is perfect. You have my mined spinning again, LOL. Have a great day.
Sending wishes for a speedy recovery to your husband! Be sure you take care of yourself — so that you have the strength to take care of him.
Love what you did with the punch shape in the center — just delightful!
Elegant card Susan. Love the labels and the layering. Fabulous color combo. The blue really pops. Thanks for sharing.
Well, I certainly hope your hubby gets better soon. And with such a cute card, how could he not. My best to him.
I’ve always wanted to know some colors to use with my crushed curry paper. I would not have thought of putting those three colors together. They look great! The card is really nice.
What a fabulous idea to layer that bracket punch! This is such a fabulous layout. Love it!
What a great card, Susan! I love how you’ve combined the die cut shape and the punched shape on your card! Wonderful job with the challenge!
Great card Susan, I love the layer trick you used, thanks for sharing it with us. Hope your husband gets well soon.
I love the layering technique that you used on this card, Susan. You inspired me to make one similar (different dsp, size and stamp sets, but with the same layering idea) for my brother-in-law`s birthday. Thank you for the inspiration… I was stumped, lol!!!
