Happy St. Patrick's Day! I feel L U C K Y for so many reasons…when I heard that I was going to be Mary Fish's Guest Stamper today I was super excited and I knew exactly what I was going to do!!!
Let me 1st tell you how L U C K Y I am to be a part of Mary's PALS – I started following her blog – Stampin Pretty over 18 months ago and I was instantly hooked with her style and commitment to her business! I could hardly wait to wake up in the morning to see what she posted…so last May, I took a leap and became a PAL and have loved everyday!
I have been wanting to use the On Board Sheets to do a card and today this was a perfect time to use them! This product gets overlooked in my opinion and I just love the look and effect it gives! The Bigz Typeset Alphabet is the center stage and it certainly shows the WOW factor! Now I know what your thinking…this is a bit pricy but how about getting it for 50% 0ff or better yet…how about for free…ask me how! The ideas are endless with this set…I love making simple monogrammed notes for a quick and clean gift!
Isn't it simply amazing all of the things our dear friend, Mr. Big Shot is capable of doing! After first adhering the Old Olive Polka Dot Parade Paper to the On Board Sheets…I simply cut them out and voila! Doesn't that give this such a great effect and depth!

I knew I wanted to do a bit more to the focal point of this card so I used the Scalloped Trim Border Punch to give it a fun yet sophisticated flare! A little touch like this adds so much!

Building my shamrock was a cinch using both the small heart punch and the bird builder punch! It is amazing all of the things you can do with paper and punches and I always love seeing the endless ideas that can be created!

My sentiment came from the Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set, these little stamps might be small…but they pack a B I G punch in getting a short and sweet message across – definitely a Stamp Set that I consider to be on my "A list" and then punched out with the Modern Label to give it a stage of its own!
If you follow my Blog you know 2 things I always do…use Stampin' Dimensionals and line my envelopes! Well today is no different! My Mom always loved when an envelope was lined…doing this reminds me of her each day!

Another reason that today is my L U C K Y day is that it is my 50th Blog Post! Now that might not seem like a big deal to you…but to me it has been huge as not only has it been a commitment – it has been a joy to inspire and get to know my followers! Please click the subscribe button above to get daily inspirations from me….I love what I do – and I love helping you!
If you leave me a comment at the end of this post…I am going to pick a L U C K Y loyal Blog reader a pack of 5 In Color Pens in honor of my 50th post….I thank you for your comments and I look forward to more posts and fun times ahead! I will randomly pick the lucky winner ( well actually I'll have my dear hubbie do it) tomorrow night, Monday March 18th and post it on my daily blog on Tuesday!

This is the last week to take advantage of the super opportunity to get $156.50 worth of YOUR choice of products for just $99.00 in honor of Stampin' Ups! 25th Anniversary! It truly is an amazing offer and one that simply has no strings attached to it! Now this is a different post for me but a post that I have been wanting to share with you! My Digital Studio is simply an amazing tool that Stampin' Up has and this program does sooooo incredibly much that I feel I can honestly say that I have not even touched the survace of it !
I am taking a class on learning more later this week and my goal is to be able to share a post with you once a week utilizing something from MDS (My Digital Studio). You can create so many things and you can also create clean and simple cards….have them printed off….and then if you want – add a little bling here and there and the WOW factor will be there just like of you had made it from scratch!
This card I made when my daughter went off to college! You want to know one of the things that I think is super-duper cool about MDS?…..well – let me tell you – When you create a card…it is the same darn price doing all 4 sides….ok – close your eyes and image you are holding a card….your looking at #1 - the front…when you open it ( the left side now – #2)….you can put pictures….text…..whatever and there is no additional charge…..same think for the (#3) and even the back of the card….is that great or what!
The other thing that is a home run with MDS is the printing service….it is the highest of quality….you simply click…put the amount of cards you want….presto….done and then your creation that YOU create will come to your house! You can make 1 of a card…or make your whole Christmas list!
Enjoy previewing this card…this was my very 1st card I did with MDS and I was happy! I will try to keep to my commitment in making one day a week a MDS day…….Until tomorrow…..happy stamping and MDS-ing!!!!

Did the paper and embellishments look familiar….well – everything that you get from Stampin Up is the same colors…stamps…pearls etc….isn't that super amazing!!!
Thanks for stopping by my blog today…if you haven't already signed up for my daily postings…please sign up in the upper right hand corner! A always, I am a click away for any comments, questions and if you click here – you can shop away at my online store! Here is a card that I have made for today's the Pals Paper Art Challenge! Go and check these talented and beautiful designs….WOW!!! These were the guidelines…to use these colors and I am quite pleased with the end result! I love and always use Crumb Cake as my "go-to" base color as I love the richness it brings to other colors you put with it! Please click on the picture to make it bigger….this picture does not do this beautiful card justice!

The
Stamp Set is one that has such great and meaningful sentiments. From My
Heart, is a set that really has a simple, yet uplifting and fun twist to
getting a point across! The true helper to me on this project is the
Stampin' Trimmer. This trimmer allows you to make such precise cuts ( these were 1/2" wide) that
always makes your projects look great! Please do not forget that you
can purchase replacement blades for this…and the best part is there is
a little compartment underneath the trimmer to hold extra blades so if
needed…they are right there! I have only changed my blade once and I
use this trimmer ALL THE TIME!

This stamp is relatively a square shape so I did the same with the card and then built from there! The size of the card is 5 1/2" X 5 1/2" – I love odd size cards because you can always make your own custom size envelope so it's a breeze…plus – "It's hip to be square….right" The Vanilla Card stock was 3 1/4" square and then I matted it ~ they naturally I POPPED it for the WOW!
Doing these types of stripes is super easy…you will have "left overs" hanging off the edges – I use scissors 1st to get them close to the size I'm striving for and then I use my cutter to make it exact! I thought the extra touch of the Stitched Satin Ribbon was the perfect finale…..next to my liner, which is from the "tea for two" designer series paper from the new Spring Catalog!

This is another example on how you can use a layout that you like and just make some changes with the colors and sentiments….and you achieve a whole new feel! Card-making does not have to be hard or stressful…is has to be fun and rewarding! I hope that you enjoyed today's card and I hope that you have signed up for my blog…so I can inspire you each day! Let me know how you like this card, click here or simply leave me a comment below! Until tomorrow….

My very first Pals Paper Arts Challenge! Being part of the Pals is so much fun and I know that each and every month they have great and fun challenges but I have never participated…..until today! I walked slowly down the diving board and took a big jump!

The way I look at it is that you need to start somewhere but more importantly to me…I want to have fun creating and relaxing by doing what I love! Creating works from my heart! Well….what do you think! Please give me some feedback – I think it turned out super-fun!
Here is the challenge sketch for todays challenge….please go to the Pals Paper Arts Challenge and see all of the great cards that show such talent from so many from all over!

Earlier this week, I shared with you how I took apart a wheel…and again, this is another card that I did the same! If you want to revisit a video from my upline, Mary Fish….click here! This stamp is the Take a Sip Wheel Stamp…too cute and I stamped it with the StazOn Black on Water Color paper and then I let my inner Picasso come out and I used the Aqua Painter to water color some details!

Are you wondering where this sentiment is from…..Friendly Phrases….but I masked the"on your new baby" just to get the "congratulations"!!!
Fun trick – sticky notes are the BEST!

Don't you love that ribbon….so natural and sooo easy to tie in a knot! Now that's my kinda ribbon – Natural Trim Ribbon! The printed paper came from the Comfort Cafe Designer Paper! Not only was this card fun to make…it will be a gem to give as I have a special friend that just achieved a milestone…..and being the coffee lover she is…this is a perfect card to give her kudos and inspiration along with a gift card to her favorite "Java Place"

As always, I am a click away and I would love to help you achieve your goals….teach you new tricks of the trade or better yet – have a one on one private session with you to be able to inspire and give you my time! I love what I do and I love helping others achieve their goals!

I was looking for something a bit different to send out as thank you notes…something that wouldn't be too frilly and something that did not use the traditional colors of Valentines! When this "in color" - Summer Starfruit, came out in June….well I thought it was the ugliest color in the world but quickly my feelings changed as it truly coordinates with such a variety of colors that creates a rich, sophisticated look and I just love the Hearts a Flutter Stamp Set…clean and cute!
Very Vanilla was my base color and I ran the Summer Starfruit piece through Mr. Big Shot with the Fancy Fan Embossing Folder – just love the texture it brings out! I first stamped my hearts on the vanilla piece but then I thought in needed a bit of depth so I did layer it over a piece of basic grey and that did the trick…tied a piece of stitched satin ribbon and again did a knot as I am "bow challenged"!

I admit that I first made a mistake but my mistake turned out to be a pretty cool effect! ( You probably cannot see it that clear in the picture)….but I first stamped my sentiment – Sassy Salutations in Basic Grey. I did not like the way that looked so I had my fingers crossed and tried to line it up and even thought it is a bit off – I LOVE the way it looks!

As always…I used dimensionals to pop it up….and lined my envelope with a beautiful piece of grey designer paper from the Neutrals Designer Series Paper….these collections of paper come in all of Stampin' Ups color….truly a must have for lining and making your own decorative envelopes!
This week is flying by and I am going to show you a couple more Valentines ideas over the next couple of days! YIKES – I need to get my goodies in the mail to my college kids – Valentines is a week away from today!!!
Thanks for stopping by my blog today! I am putting together some fun cards for my next stamp -a-stack…..this is an event that you will make 12 cards in total….3 each of 4 different designs! Trust me – they will be practical, fun and super cute….all for just $20.00! You just show up with your adhesive and I will have everything all ready for you to create! Get your own group together and it is a great way to earn free products as you can be the hostess! Have a great day and remember you can shop right from home with just a click! Isn't technology wonderful!
