Are these colors yummy or what! I just love the color combination I used and this stamp set is "way out the the traditional Susan box" but thanks to fellow PALS Brian and Pam….they enabled me to take the plunge and buy it!
A couple of weeks ago I saw a post on Brian King's Blog ( love it…love him!!!) using this stamp set and I was so wowed I needed to get it as I thought it is a super feminine stamp! Brian's inspiration came from his Upline, Pam…we are all PALS and we all love to enable one another! The set is called Stippled Blossoms!
The color combinations you could come up with are endless! I went bold…just remember to use one color a shade deeper than the other to give it the depth it needs! I used, Pacific Point, Midnight Muse, Certainly Celery and Wild Wasabi. My neutral was good old whisper white!
The Stamp-a-ma-jig was once again my best friend ( I think I am going to but another one cause' I think I will go into withdraw if I misplace this one…I use it just about every day! A total MUST to get the placement correct and sooo easy!
The sentiment can from an "A list" Stamp Set, Curly Cute, and if this goes bye-bye….I am going to be a sad stamper! I love this set and when in doubt….go to it! I layered it with the coordinating colors…but 1st I did use a sponge and lightly sponged the edges of the white with the Wild Wasabi to give it a bit of depth!
Out came the Stampin' Vitamins….Stampin' Dimensions whet all over…just like I love it! A card would not be a card without a lined envelope! I went to my go-to, Subtles Designer Series Paper to make the finale a finale!!!
Today is a BIG day all the way around for me….I have a Stamp-a-Stack after work….it is The Voice ( which I am addicted to) and then at midnight I am going to be Cinderella waiting for the clock to hit midnight to see a seek preview of some pre-order goodies that Stampin' Up! is coming out with!!! WOOT-WOOT!!!!
But with the good will came the sad….the list of retired items that will go bye-bye! It's o.k. – we need to trust this great company in making decisions that is best for all of us! This is why I just love Stampin' Up! They allow you to run your business, "Your Way" and then are always on top of all if the trends while still remaining traditional! Love it!

It is an exciting time and I am so glad we are on this ride together!
Drop me an email or comment about how you liked today's post….and also pick 3 stamp sets that you think are going to be retired….if you guess them – I will send you a special goodie from me ( trust me – you'll love it – it is my post for Thursday!!!!) If I have multiples – I will get good old John to draw a name….you are going to flip over it – A 3-D goodie that I am sooooo excited about!!!
Huge Stampin' Hugs and I am excited for later on today and tonight….Until tomorrow! Thanks for popping by!

Susan,
Love the color combination. Did you stamp this twice or use your stampin markers to get the depth in the flowers?
Gorgeous card Susan! I have this set (got it free at convention last year) and have not broken it out yet……now I may have to. Very pretty, it looks like beautiful DSP. Great colors too!
Your card is beautiful! I have a hard time working with colors that are outside my own box, but I’ve needed to do so a bit lately. I’ve seen a number of cards using that stamp set over the past couple of weeks. I really never had much interest in it before that, but it produces beautiful results!
I’ve been looking at the catalog for the past couple of days trying to decide what I think will be retired. Here are three of my guesses:
Beautiful Season
It’s a Wrap Occasions
Got Treats
I hope you have a fun time at your workshop tonight!
Beautiful card Susan! Here are my 3 guesses for retiring stamps:
Raining Flowers
Lean on Me
Daring Adventure
Where r u stamping a stack today?
Love your bold color choice and agree with you that I hope they keep Curly Cute stamp set! My guesses for retiring stamps are Bright Blossoms, Betsy’s Blossoms and Storytime Friends.
Great card. Brian will be so happy he inspired you. Love the bold colors.
My guess for retiring stamps are: Christmas Lodge; Buttons & Blossoms; Tricky treats. All are good stamps, hate to see any set go. Hope I get a chance to get a set I don’t have before it retires.
Thanks for your inspiration.
