Today, May 6th is a special day for me…as it marks my…
1 Year Anniversary With
Stampin' Up!
I "pulled the trigger" today last year as I knew that Stampin' Up! not only makes the best paper crafting products…I felt an instant energy and positiveness with Mary Fish's PALS team…and I have never looked back once!
Being that I was in direct sales for many years, I naturally did my research to see if "they – Stampin' Up!) was really true to their word about letting demonstrators do their business "their way"…and YES – they do from day one!
If you were to ask me this time last year if I would be blogging = simple – NO WAY!!! ( remember, I am computer challenged) and I would have never ever imagined that through blogging I would reach so many from all over the world that not only inspire me…they are my customers…they are my friends!
I have several "die hards" that always give me that burst on inspiration to continue to create…blog…share my stories and I thank you for that inspiration!
This card is for Mary – letting her know how much I appreciate her support, her genuineness, her gift of leading, her endless gift of sharing and her simple and precious gift of being "Mary" Thank you for believing in me, for inspiring me and for leading all of us PALS!!! You're the best!
I know….I know…..onto the card – I think I am spoiling you with these "bullet point" tips = ( it really keeps me on my toes!!!)…enjoy…
- Can you guess what color this base is….Sahara Sand! I cut it at 4 1/4" and then scored it at 5 1/2"
- I have been wanting to use the Pinwheel Sizzlets in a card for you for a while…and when I thought bout today…it is a "happy day" for me….and pinwheels just make you smile! Can you say B A R G A I N = this little gem is only $4.95!

- I ran the pieces of Subtles Designer Series Paper through my main man, "Mr. Big Shot"
- Using the Paper Piercing Tool to create the pinwheels…I then used a color coordinating brad in the center of each!
- The sticks were just sticks I use when I make Cake Pops! Using the Mini Glue Dots made this a cinch for both the pinwheels as well as the sticks!
- The "leaves" were from the Bird Builder Punch in Certainly Celery…to adhere them I use good olde faithful , 2 way glue pen!
- I carefully slid a piece of Certain Celery Taffeta Ribbon thru the sticks and carefully tied a knot! ( remember – I am bow challenged)…and heck – I like knots!
- Taking a piece of Certainly Celery ( 1" wide) I used the Needlepoint Embossing Folder to add a bit of depth!
- Don't you love that sentiment and the little hearts – this can be your for just $9.00 "Sweetly Farmed" – it includes 10 stamps….a NEW Hostess gift…SNEAK PEEK!!!! I love it!
- Popping it out with the Ticket Duo Builder and using Stampin Dimensionals make this a cinch!
O.k. – I know what you are thinking….how am I going to mail this to Mary without getting squished! Simple – use a padded envelope and when you go to mail it – ask the postmaster to "hand stamp it" so it will not go thru a machine!
You can make these pinwheels flat to mail easily but I like the "fluff"! I hope that this card has brought a smile to you to start his work week off! I certainly am smiling and I am thinking of all of the fun I have had over this year with Stampin' Up!
YOU make me love doing this everyday….true it is a big time commitment but I appreciate the support and dedication you continue to give me! Please tell your friends about my blog and sign up for my daily dose of fun! As always, I am an email away and I do appreciate and cherish your comments!
Thanks for making my 1st year so much fun and I look to more fun and creative times ahead! Until tomorrow…..

Happy Anniverseray, Susan! So happy that you are a part of our Pals group! Love the pinwheels today…that is one of my favorite dies, too 🙂
Congrats Susan! And, so much more to come. Keep the imagination flowing…. Thanks for sharing!
You are so talented Susan. Only with Stampin’ Up one year and look at all that you are accomplishing, especially with your blog. I appreciate you and look forward to seeing what you have created every day.
How exciting. You are so down to earth, you make me feel as if I can really be creative too. Happy Anniversary to you. I remember when I first started creating cards, October 2011, and I too am still having a ball.

WOW! Only one year with SU. You are an amazing stamper but then your mentor is Mary so I know you have learned from the master. I enjoy your blog everyday and get so much useful tips and information. Thanks for being you!

OMG…..Stinkin cute card!!!! And Ithought the pinwheels were just for kids! You truly are an inspiration! Congratulations and Happy 1 year Anniversary! I am so glad you took the leap! Lovin your blog!
Well, happy anniversary, Susan, I really enjoy your blog and creativeness, and your willingness to share not only your creativeness but your knowledge of stamping in general. You are certainly a boost to my stamping world. This card is adorable and a perfect birthday card for a child. Thanks again for all you do and your willingness to share.
Congrats – only a year? Amazing! Love your projects and love your blog! I made Ann Schach one a pinwheel card that is a spinner – but then, had to mail it! I was going to send her some treats but there was 2 bus loads of people being dropped off at the bakeries here and I didn’t want to stand in line. I wanted the card to get to her on her birthday. Well, she assured me it arrived intact and able to spin but I think she was just humoring me!
Happy anniversary! Tres mignon! (Very cute)
I enjoy your cards! Thank you for sharing!
