When I sat down yesterday to create some cards for you this week…I took a look at some of the NEW products that I purchased with the pre-order…and then wanted to use something that I have not used yet! I was excited to use this wheel as I do not think that we use them enough! (Click on the picture to really see the fun!!!)
BINGO – the NEW Stampin' Gingham Wheel POPPED out to me! I love these wheels but I do not use them as wheels…I make them into stamps! How can you go wrong for a stamp like this and it is only $6.50!
If you have never tried this before….DO IT! Simply peel back where the seam is and place it on the sticky sheets – Clear Mount Cling Foam…and PRESTO – you have a stamp!
TIP – I know it seems a bit unnecessary….but trust me on this one – the Craft and Rubber Scissors are the best when cutting through this foam as well as cutting rubber stamps!
- The base started with the whisper white A-2 card!
- Cutting another piece of whisper white at 5 1/4" X 4" and then stamped the Gingham Stamp using the Stamp -a-ma-jig for perfect placement in Real Red!
- I am "stuck" on this little bird….it is from the bye-bye Stamp Set of, Moving Forward, was placed in a row once again with the help of the Stamp-a-ma-jig stamped with the Black Staz On Ink!
- After seeing these little guys running across the card….the Oh, Hello Stamp Set seemed to be the perfect sentiment for this! Once again, the Stamp-a-ma-jig made it easy-peasy!
- I adhered this on a piece of Real Red Card Stock….just 1/8" larger…just enough for a bit of POP and then I used Stampin' Dimensonals to lift it up!
- I should have also stamped the envelope….but honestly did not think of it at the time…I used the Neutral Designer Series Paper to line the envelope and WOW – looks sharp!
I must say…I like this card! It makes me smile…I just love those little birds running across this fun border! Too darn cute!

Love this card, Susan, and the perky tablecloth, too!
I’ve seen other examples of unmounting a wheel stamp. I’ve been too chicken to try it (plus I have all those handles and ink cartridges, which I’m not using much…). I like the gingham! Yours is the best-looking example of that wheel/stamp that I’ve seen so far! Cute card!
Cute! I just love those little birdie’s. Thank you for sharing!
This is just the cutest card ever. The birds and the gingham look great together.
Cute card, Susan. You are such an enabler, as I’ve said before, maybe I’ll just order everything I don’t already have from the new catty and just be done with it, then I’ll be prepared for anything you throw out there:)
Norma (who can’t wait for Saturday to get here)
Thanks for the unmounting tip. I am not into the wheels, but do like some of the choices of stamps.
Thanks so much.
