A HUGE thanks to so many that left me great comments and sent me emails yesterday! Your inspiration helps me create and continue to learn this wild ride of blogging….I swear….I do this and sometime I ask myself – Does anyone see it? Then by then end of the day and I go to post the next day's goodie…I am WOWED by how many viewed my blog and blest to have you as cyber friends and customers!
SNEAK PREVIEW ALERT!
This card is using some of the items that demonstrators were able to pre-order before the new catalog launching! You too can order these now by becoming a Demonstrator and the best thing is….for $99.00 you can pick $155.00 worth of ANY Stampin' Up! product…click here to get started!
Here you go….
- Very Vanilla was the Neutral of pick today! I cut it at 4 1/4" and then scored it at 5 1/2' to make a vertical card!
- This NEW stamp, "Wildflower Meadow" Clear Stamp set is ONE HUGE STAMP! I inked it up with the NEW In Color, Baked Brown Sugar ( love it!!!!) and instead of stamping it…I put the paper on top of my stamp and rubbed it all over – this is really a huge stamp and I feel you get a better impression!
- Then…the super cool thing is that this stamp has a matching embossing folder, Wildflower Meadow…so naturally I put that to use with the help of my main man, Mr. Big Shot!
- Using the Regals Blue Buttons…I threaded the Whisper White Bakers Twine through it and knotted it off…I then felt it was too stark so I used the sponge and sponged a bit of the ink in it to soften it! I also placed a tiny pearl on the bird for his eye!
- I love the Stamp set, Loving Thoughts, and felt it was perfect for this card! I took a small piece of very vanilla and using the stamp-a-ma-jig I was able to perfectly place it right where I wanted it …then took the sponge again to soften the edges before mounting it on a piece of midnight muse!
- Using Stampin Dimensioanls for both the base of the card as well as the sentiment create the wow factor…o.k. stampers – by now you know…you have to have a TON of these Stampin' Vitamins…they MAKE your cards!
- A card would not be "Susan" card without a liner….and this beautiful Midnight Muse print is from the Print Poetry is the perfect finishing touch! ( I surely hope that you have bought this "bye-bye" paper….it is a must!)
The countdown has begun with the new catalog….my "mother load" of catalogs come today and I will be soooo excited to mail them to my customers! You are going to just have to block of a L O N G period of time to take it all in…..heck – maybe a sick or personal day from work!!!!
Become a PAL with me and you can be a part of the BEST cyber catalog party! It is soooo much fun – I can remember last year listening in to Mary Fish's P.J. Catalog Party and thinking….what the heck is going on…..what are these crazy people thinking….it is just stamps! Mary makes this event so much fun…she has polls for us to vote on the percentage of who thinks a certain set will be a hit or not….you hear all sorts of comments….ideas flowing….it is a HOOT!
Well….see what a difference a year makes…I would not miss this party for the world! Even though I have not personally met these PALS- they have become my cyber friends and I feel like I have known them forever! They are the best support system one could have!
Hope you enjoyed today's SNEAK PEEK….again, I thank you for you kind words, your dedication and I look forward to celebrating many more anniversary's together! Please click above and under the catalog and subscribe to my blog….I do post everyday and I would not want you to miss a thing! I am an email away if you need me!
Until tomorrow…..

Love the new stamp. Can you explain? Did
you stamp and then run the image through the Big Shot with the new matching folder?
Or did you emboss and then stamp image on top of embossing? How did you get the two on there. I can’t really see the embossing.
Pretty card Susan. I can’t wait to get this bundle.
This is lovely, Susan. On my list of things to do today. By the way, I wanted to do something special for my hostess this week and made the gift tablet/ card holder in the gumball green, Daffidil delight, and regal rose. Turned out pretty good for a first try:). Going to make a thank you card to put in the pocket and while I’m at it, think I’ll make several more in different colors to have them on hand as thank you gifts for my hostesses. Thanks again for sharing this project:)
Beautiful card. Can’t wait for the new catalog.
Gorgeous! I love these colors together and the whole package! I love the buttons on there! Can you tell I love this?!?
Hi Susan, I just finished casing your Wildflower Meadow card with the following changes/additions:
First of all, I wasn’t sure I would like the embossing over the stamping, but it really turned out nice and I really like it, it adds a nice touch to the card. I didn’t have the sentiment you used, so used bloomin’ MARVELOUS from the Bloomin’ Marvelous set. Then I used a thin jute twine for the buttons and added the butterfly from Bloomin Marvelous set that I also stamped in Baked Brown Sugar and punched out with the new small butterfly punch and added pearls to it and popped it up with stampin’ dimensionals. Took a picture with my phone, but don’t have an email address to send it to you. I think it turned out pretty good:)
I have struggled with this set and was delighted with the card you made. Now I can pick it up again and give it another try. I want to make some molded buttons and use those–I will try. Thanks for your blog and the great ideas you shard.
Wow-what a beautiful card -love the colors. My wish list is getting longer, before I have my catalog. I like the bigger stamps, and the bonus folder is a real bonus.
Thanks for all your inspiration-I could spend 24 hours in my “rubber room”. Have a great day.
Very pretty card. I am so undecided about the new In Colors being so similar to what we have. For instance, how close is the Baked Brown Sugar to Crumb Cake? Anyway, thanks for all your comments and I so look forward to your posts!
