Whew…that's what yesterday was for me and I have a confession…I did not prepare enough over the weekend for my blogs this week and I feel like saying…
"Calgon…take me away"
I even contemplated not doing a post but then my wonderful hubbie said….go up stairs and have some time for yourself to unwind and create!
This card is a …
"Easy-peasy" kinda card!!!
Hang tight 'cause here you go!
(Click on the pictures as I was not happy with the photography)
- The neutral is Very Vanilla…cut for a regular A-2 card!
- I cut the ***NEW*** Pistachio Pudding in a 4" X 5 1/4" and then used the corner rounder to soften the edges!
- The Very Vanilla piece is 3 1/4" X 3 3/4"… then wowed with the Scalloped Trim Border Punch on both ends was the backdrop for a special touch!
- Pulling out "Old Faithful"…the Summer Silhouettes Stamp Set….I knew that it would not let me down! The colors I used were the Pistachio Pudding, Strawberry Slush, Pacific Point and the ***NEW*** Crushed Curry ( LOVE!!!!)
- The sentiment….TOO DARN CUTE – is also ***NEW*** and it is a "hostess stamp set" called Express Yourself! If is a wonderful addition and one that you simply need to have!
- I needed a bit of femininity so I pulled my all time favorite ribbon to use….the seam binding ribbon – sooooo easy to use! This is the Very Vanilla Seam Binding Ribbon – tied in a simple "Susan knot"

- Adhering this on a piece of ***NEW*** Strawberry Slush ( don't you love that name) Card Stock cut at 3 1/2" X 4" made the flowers really POP!
- Now let's talk about this envelope liner, it is from the ***NEW*** Quatrefancy Specialty Paper Pack!…can you say W O W!!! Just love this Designer Paper – make sure you have 1 or better yet 2 of these paper packs on your list! It is soooooo beautiful, handsome, elegant…..the adjectives could go on and on!

Now how is that for a quick and beautiful card! I think the thing love about this stamp set is….you can just "GO FOR IT" – If you are a little off….no biggie! I am so glad that I was "pushed for creativity" from John….it was what I needed from a long day at work!
Please let me know how you like it….email me or leave me a comment…..
Until tomorrow….

So bright and cheerful. Great stamp selection.
Love your card and love the new colors.
You are a good instructor.
What a wonderful husband!!! Enjoyed your card and I love how you always line your envelopes to go with the card.
This is beautiful and I love the colors!
Thank you for sharing and be sure to give your hubby a big hug for his support!
Love it, Susan, so summery, another one to try. Isn’t great to have supportive husbands:)
Pretty colors! Can we trade husbands for a bit? Also, maybe Daisy for Henry too for a bit? Henry managed to distress a lot of my cardstock and DP not once but two different times this week! Argh! He made his own water spots with his drool, claw marks, chewed, and scrunched it up. Not just a few but a lot of sheets like a whole 12″ holder full!
Susan: What a great hubby! It worked, you came up with one great card. I have to check my stamps to see if I have this set. If not, I hope it is not being retired. Better check fast-deadline coming up fast.
Thanks again for a beautiful card.
