Now wouldn't you just love to open this envelope and see this cheery, bright and fun card from a friend! The bold colors and the sheer simplicity of it makes it a super easy…WOW card that can not only be made in a flash…it can be "mass produced" and changing the sentiment up…say a Happy Birthday…Thinking of you – you will have one "keeper" of a card on hand!
I wanted to use a nice and bright color for the backdrop of this card and Pacific Point was a great choice! I paired it together with Real Red and Pumpkin Pie and then it was super easy for me to find a liner for the envelope….I just went to my swatches that I bought from fellow PAL Brian King and looked for a series of paper that had Pumpkin Pie…and BAM – the Quatrefancy Specialty Paper jumped out and said PICK ME…PICK ME!!!
This card is so straight forward…no explanation is needed! I hope that you CASE this card as this simple layout truly produces a sweet card! Here is a quick run down of the scoop for the card!
- The Sentiment came from the Happy Day Stamp Set…( An "A" list set for your collection) – I just love the font on the sentiment – clean and simple!
- The butterfly's were a quick POP…POP using the Bitty Butterfly Punch and the Elegant Butterfly Punch!
- The hexagon punches make a quick and fun shape that adds interest and before I popped out the pacific point ones….I ran a piece of scrap paper through Mr. Big Shot using the Perfect Polka Dot Embossing Folder!
- In the middle of the Butterfly, I used a simple Neutral Candy Dot of White to give it a bit of flair!
- When you adhere the butterflies….use a simple glue dot and roll the wings upwards with a pencil or your fingers to give it a "curl"
Easy – right! I hope that you CASE away on this one as it is super fast…super cute and a card anyone would be proud to make!
The weekend is here and I hope that you have plans for "fun"!!! As always, I appreciate you popping by and remember that you can order at anytime ….day or night right from your home…simply click here and shop away!!!

Love it — this will be great to do red/white/blue cards for this week for the 4th.
Love the color combination. The orange, blue and red is great together. I think I need to get a little braver. Thanks for sharing!
