I told you yesterday that I am very “antsy” ( is this really a word???) about getting by
new goodies by they will be here on Tuesday….patience Susan…patience! I must
say – I am super thrilled with today’s gem!
Last month I shared with you on a post a similar concept but
I must say…I am “tickled pink” with this one! As the saying goes…I am kinda
“killing 2 birds with 1 stone”!
I also am going to do something new and fun for the next 2
days…it is my own challenge and I am calling it the Oh, Hello & Mixed Bunch FFF Challenge…I
will do 3 days of postings using the Oh, Hello Stamp Set & Mixed Bunch Set and each day either
have it be Functional (that is today’s post)…Feminine (a bit of girly-girl
looking)…and one that is Fun (just like it sounds…FUN!!!)
It is time once again to play along with the Pals Paper Art
Challenge and this one is a color challenge…using 3 of my favorites, gumball
green, primrose petals and whisper white! You simply cannot go wrong with pink,
green and white together!
I hope and encourage you to play along with the Pals Paper
Challenge…it is open to absolutely everyone…please check out the website…pull
out these 3 colors…and play along!
I am also using
this as a gift for my niece – remember I did the tone on tone pink Birthday
card a couple of days ago? This is a goodie for her to use…a gift card!
This is super easy and I know that once you try it…you will
be making a bunch of these gems up…just think of all of the people you can give
these to….simply change up the colors…the stamp set…the sentiment and
PRESTO…one perfect goodie!
Here you go…please go to the office store and buy a BIG Post
It Note and make this…you will be smiling from ear to ear with pride that you
did it!
- The base is 9 5/8” X 6 ½” in Primrose Petals
- Using the Simply Scored Scoring Tool, score at 4
½” and 5 1/8”
- Adhere the “Post it Note” using the Tombow
Glue…super strong!!!
- The white base on the front is 5 ½” X 4 ¼”…now
draw a faint line with a pencil ¼” up from the bottom to use as a guide.
- Out comes the Stamp-a-ma-jig, a MUST have tool
that we all need to be comfortable with using! Stamp the bottom “arrow” stamp
in gumball green!
- Again, using the Stamp-a-ma-jig, Stamp the
sentiment “Oh, hello” from the Oh, Hello Stamp Set…I stamped it twice!
- Next, randomly stamp the flowers from the Mixed
Bunch Stamp Set ( I always like odd numbers…) TIP – when I do my stamping and I
have stamps that are going to go “off” the edge…I simply slip a piece of scrap
paper underneath to keep my work area clean!
- Taking (2) pieces of gumball green at ½” X 4 ¼”
I simply adhere it to the white so you have just ¼” showing on either side!
- I use the Tombow Glue to adhere this whole piece
to the front of the project!
- Using the Mini Glue Dots, I placed the matching
In-Color Dahlias to give it a pop! Too cute…right!
- The inside is a piece of white – 4 ¼” X 6 ¼” and
doing the same thing…I drew a faint line as a guide to keep my stamping nice
and straight! Cutting a piece of Primrose Petals just a “smidge” larger than
the gift card was the perfect “framing factor” to pull it all together!
That’s it! This project will be a favorite of yours and I
know that you will use it over and over again! Please feel free to email me if
you have any questions! I love to try to help you reach new goals! You CAN DO
IT…please try this!!!

super cute!!!! I’m off to Office Max. 🙂
I will try this sometime in the near future. I love this type of project! Fun! I like how you put the green on the white on the inside. Thanks for the instructions.
Super cute!!! Will definitely give this a try. Your instructions are so detailed I’m sure I can do this!!
To cute, Susan, again a very versatel idea. I have triplet grandchildren turning 15 in July (two boys and a girl and the boys are getting their Eagle Scout rank in August). These would be supper gifts for the boys in red, white, and blue. And one for Sarah in Purples. And with a gift card to their favorite store, what more could you ask for. Thanks for enabling, oops, I mean sharing:). Norma
Another fabulous project! I’m sure your niece will love it! Thanks for playing at PPA!
You’re right – cute as can be!
