Have you ever had someone that came to the plate for you and you were all smiles and speechless at the same time? Well this is what this card is all about to me!
Many of you know that follow my blog know that I am computer challenged…I have received many, many emails about my blog header still saying "February"….and other areas of my blog that needed updates etc…trust me….I knew!!!
On Wednesday, I had an email from a fellow PAL, Michelle Gleeson saying that she knows that I needed some help with my blog! You have no idea how I felt – just to think that a fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrator knew that I was having obvious troubles to come forward and offer help!
Well…you can see that I have added some side bar options for navigation and shopping and this weekend I am going to tackle the Blog Header ( heck we are closer to February now!!!!) I know that I am my worst enemy in not believing in myself when it comes to computers!!!
So the moral of the story is THANK YOU Michelle…..as you are One in a Million to be so sweet and kind! It truly is an honor and a special feeling to be part of the PALS!
Is this a super simple, sweet card or what! Let's talk about easy-peasy too!!! Once again, I used the whisper white note cards and envelopes to whip this up! LOVE THEM and you need them……click here to order and you will be sooooo happy that you did – they make a perfect size of a note card!
Being the "white freak" I am – I cut a piece 1/4" smaller than the card and then matted it with Island Indigo…love this yummy color! The fun and in trend "Off the Grid" Stamp made a simple yet fun background stamp!

Inking up the Million & One Stamp with the Island Indigo I made a simple stamp right on top! How easy is this! Thinking it needed a bit more interest I popped out a bitty butterfly adorned with 3 small pearls and then gently bent it's wings up!

The Island Indigo Chevron Ribbon tied in a simple knot was the perfect finishing touch to the balance and fun of this card!
TIP ALERT: – you have heard me say this before….but I will say it again, purchase the Craft Scissors and ONLY use them for ribbon – you will get a clean and crisp cut every time! (Click on a photo to see up close)
Lifting this whole piece up with a bunch of Stampin Dimensionals made this a quick yet beautiful card….but hold on….the finishing touches of using the new Envelope Liner Framelits along with the vibrant Quatrefancy Designer Series Paper…was the perfect finishing touch for my thanks to Michelle!
I am all about "random acts of kindness" – this is something that I learned from my Mom…each and everyday I try to make someone smile, help someone or just be a good listener! Michelle's reaching out to me means so much!
I made the commitment to blogging and I truly love it! True, it takes a lot of time but the pay off far out weighs the efforts! I have met people from all over! Nothing happens over night and I am determined to continue blogging for you!
I thank you for having me be your Stampin Up! Demonstrator and I would love for you to be a PAL as well – to feel the support and friendship we have! Please email me and let's talk!
I hope this has inspired you! Until tomorrow…..

Susan,
Wow, thank for the shout out. It was my pleasure to share what I have learned. I love your creativity and energy each morning, your blog needed to shine like you. Now it does!
Hugs,
Michelle
Well! Congrats to you both. Seems the match is perfect. The site is updated and we get a card. Love the changes and Love the card.
I can’t believe people would comment to you about the February header. I think that is a little rude. You know the old saying . . . if it is nice/ positive then don’t say it. I am glad you didn’t let them bother you. I think you are doing great and you are a very busy person. Have a great weekend.
=)
I have not noticed the header because I look forward to seeing what you have in store for us. Your cards are superb and I like hearing about your family and your perspective of making cards. Keep doing what you are doing and also being the sunshine that you are. Thanks, Michelle, for helping out Susan. Nancy B
It is so nice to hear good news!!!!! I too love seeing your cards everyday and even though the header is no big deal to most of us viewing your blog, I am so glad for you that a PALS member is helping you out. THat says a lot about the group and you deserve to shine!!! I do not currently follow Michelles blog, but send me her info so I can. She sounds like someone I would like to follow too!
Hadn’t even noticed the date….who cares when we get a treat every morning. Don’t know how you do it. We thank you for what you do for us, Susan. Love that grid stamp. Think I just might have to get that one now.
I consider myself to be a relatively observant person, but I never noticed the February header either! I too am eager to see your cards and read your tips! Thank you for all of your hard work!
I am with the others, I never noticed the blog header with the date – I, too, am to eager to get to the cards and stories. I enjoy hearing about your breast cancer group and your family.
Now, this card is really cool! I love the off the grid stamp too, another on my list item. That ribbon and butterfly just made the total card for me. Love it! I gotta do more white on white. Then, that envelope is perfect too. Have a great weekend.
Too funny! Would not have noticed if you wouldn’t have told us. I too am puter challenged. My hubby helps me out when he can.
Your card is gorgeous. I love that grid stamp. O.K. Another must have. Did you stamp it with the new Smokey Slate? It looks a gray color and I love it. I haven’t tried it yet; but, I am going to soon! Love the bow. Gorgeous. And, your envelop liner is a perfect match. Thank you so much for sharing with us.
