Let's go to the HOP…Let's go to the HOP!!!
Spring had SPRUNG with the PALS!
Welcome to the Pals March Blog Hop. This month we are excited to kick-off Spring with our creative projects. We hope enjoy these creations and we hope Spring finds you soon!
You may just be starting the blog hop or may have come from our HOP LEADER Jackie Diediker at Stampin' Jackie on the Pals Hop. If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all of the amazing creations.
A BIG Pals thank you to the super talented Nicole Watt….she is truly a MDS gu-ru and she is always the best in creating our hop badges…woot-woot to you and thanks!
If you follow my blog you know that I have not beed a fan of the Winter we have had. Yesterday was a beautiful day and fingers crossed the POWER OF THE PALS hopping today will bring lots of sunshine to each and everyone of us!
Have fun hippity-hopping as there are 31 hops to hop!!! (say that 3 times!!!!)
What to make…I was thinking about all sorts of things but the one thing that I knew for sure was …I wanted it to be clean and simple that at one look – you would smile and say "I can do that"…and guess what – YOU can do it!
Yellow makes me smile…Yellow makes me happy…Yellow is fresh, fun and WOW!!!
Today's card is a perfect example of "less is best". I think that this will be a card for my Breast Cancer Project next month as it will surely make someone smile!
Ready….set….let's go!
- Note-card Size and Envelopes are the choice card size today (like most days) as I think how can you go wrong with 20 cards and envelopes for just $5.95!
- The Whisper White is 4 3/4" X 3 1/2" and the Gumball Green is 4 7/8" X 3 3/8"
- To the Gumball Green Piece cut out the Little Leaves Sizzlits (you can actually get 2 from it)…this little gem is just $5.50 and I would wager to say – that many of you overlook the sizzlits – they can really add a fun and easy accent!

- The Daffodil Delight Flower came from the Blossom Party Originals Die…again, probably something that you overlook! The offerings of these flowers are so fresh…..

- Before adhering the flower and leaves with the Multipurpose Liquid Glue, I stamped the sentiment! This teeny tiny sentiment came from the Springtime Hello Stamp Set and the Stamp-a-ma-jig helped place it perfect…every-time!

- I did adhere one flower flat and then with the second one…I rolled the petals with a pencil and then used a glue dot to place it! I like feel of the petals curled! A couple sets of "Susan dots" here and there is the added touch that I love to do!
- This whole piece was POPPED up with Stampin' Dimensionals…we all love our stampin' vitamins don't we ?!?!?
- Envelope time!!! I lined the inside with the help of the Envelope Liner Framelits…and the soooo popular Watercolor Wonder Designer Series Paper….soooo beautiful!

- I needed to make the mailman smile and this works for me when mailing…I added the same touch to the outside of the envelope as well! The "Green Glue" is simply sooooo strong and I always ask the postal clerk to "hand-stamp" it so it does not go through the machine!
That's it…one clean and simple card that delivers a statement!
As you have heard me say sooo many times…"less is best"!!!
I know that you are excited to hop away and I feel the same as you!!! There is so much talent out there and I am always marveled at everyone's work of art! I get as excited as much as you do!
Please feel free to email me if I can help you in anyway! I love what I do and I love creating clean and simple cards that touch you heart! We all have gifts…I love to help you accomplish your goals and inspire YOU that YOU can do this!

This is “so Susan”… Such a crisp, clean and sweet card!
Love your card! By the look of your card, spring must be on it’s way. At least it gives me hope! We only have about 3-1/2 feet of snow in our yard left to melt. HA! This would be a great Make and Take card at a party/workshop.
I love yellow too! So fresh!
A Susan classic! Such a sweet card and I love your signature pin holes!!
This is such a clean and pretty card!
Love it!! It makes me smile! 🙂
Less is more. The yellow flower is bright and springy. Needed that. We are under a winter storm watch right now. Snow is coming in tonight into tomorrow with more snow this weekend. At least we can have spring through cards. Thank you.
Cute card, Susan! I agree that the Sizzlits are not given their day in the spotlight enough. Hope your Spring continues!!
Simply darling card! I love how you added the layer to the flower, it makes it pop so nicely! I am really needing to get those envelope liners, they look like such a great finishing touch!
Stunning simplicity! Love it!
Love that yellow blossom…so sunny and fresh!
Such a pretty and simple card.I enjoy reading your blog every day. It’s nice to have another Pal that graduated the same year I did. I passed by your town a few times on my way to the Civil War battlefields north of you. I lived for 10 years in Annapolis before moving to Indiana. Thanks for your kind comments on my blog today.
a very happy spring card!
paper hugs,
m
I love your clean and simple cards, this one has spring written all over it!
Crisp, clean and oh so happy. The perfect Spring hop card.
Beautiful especially the little spot accents.
Your sweet cheery card makes me feel warm & fuzzy all over.
What a nice CAS and refreshing card.
Nothing says Spring like beautiful flowers…your yellow daisy (friendship!) says it all!
it does sum up Spring without any words necessary – pretty
Absolutely Love the CAS!!! ….and yes I did smile!! I’m so ready for Spring too!!! Fabulous card Susan!!!
