Get back to normal and share with you a super simple yet fun card? I hope that you can see the pictures of the card today! Fingers….toes….crossed – we are in the right direction!
I am going to try to make this quick as there are "windows" of time that typepad is UP and then typepad is DOWN! How about this card…could you tell that I made it!?!?
This is one of those "keepers" that I talk to you about…so darn tootin' easy and with that said…make sure you remember this simple layout to use it for a variety of stamps and papers!
Let's go….(boy….does it feel great to be able to blog to you!!!)
- The base is Very Vanilla and the piece that I stamped is 2 1/2" X 2 3/4"…this is from the Perfect Pennants Stamp Set….and then I matted it with a piece of Bermuda Bay that is 2 5/8" X 2 7/8"
TIP ALERT: This stamp set does come in a bundle… I truly feel that "bundles" are the way to go especially because you will save an instant 15% but also it is a HUGE time saver….(we all need that) I know that I did not use the framelits on this card…but I would always buy a grouping this way!

- Using the fine tip of the black pen…a quick "stitch" did the trick! I stamped the stars using the Black Staz On Ink and then "fussy" cut them out using the BEST scissors in the whole wide world…the paper snips!
- The Modern Melody Designer Series Paper is going to be soooo missed by me…I just think it is super classic…I cut the width (7) of the pattern and then the length is 4 3/8"…..then a quick mat…just a "smidge" bigger!
- A simple adhere….some stampin' dimensionals behind the sentiment and stars and then the added touch of a bright candy dot to make a POP!
I liked "off setting" it a bit…I think it adds interest and does not look so predictable! Play around with your layouts…sometimes making a quick and easy switch like this…just does the trick!
- Pulling out the envelope liner framelits and lining the envelope was the quick touch I needed!
That's it….you really did not need me to do this but I do hope that I inspired you and made you smile! Even though I made this selfishly for me to share with you about "Wishing my Blog" would be back to normal…this is a PERFECT card to send to my dear friends daughter that is graduating from college in a couple of weeks!
She has the best name…Callan…she is a special young lady in many ways! She has the kindest heart…she has the sweetest smile…and she always looking for the brighter side of life..
Callan was just offered a job and a very exciting one so…lesson learned – my "wishing something" is going to turn into a great card that I will send to her letting her know that John and I are "making a wish" for her success with this wonderful opportunity!
Think about how practical this card would be to have on hand…for birthdays…anniversaries…get well – you can really let the words that YOU write personalize it to whatever you need…think out of that box!

Susan,
I am still not receiving my daily e-mail of your blog post. I tried to subsribe again and it says my e-mail address already is subscribed. Just wanted to you know that it is not working properly. I am not getting any of my blog updates e-mails from any of people who use typepad which was about 20 people. Hope they get everythingk fixed soon. Miss my daily updates.
My comment is just like Janet’s too! This is getting too weird!
The card, oh I love it! This is already one of my favorite papers so I was singing it’s praises already! Then, the off-setting just made it the best! Boy, one could get vertigo from the pattern to the off-setting to all the swooning I am doing from twirling with the happy dance! I gotta make this card after I get the stamp set/bundle. I love the blue with it but any color would be great! My friend loves the term, “What a stitch!” so when I saw your stitches I thought of her!
