Happy Wednesday to all!!! I feel like a HAPPY person as the sun has been shining for 2 days now and even though I am at work and my office does not have a window….I am happy! Yesterday I saw some daffodils trying to make their debut and it reminded me of my Mom…she loved watching the changing of the seasons!
Tonight is my "feel good" night and this is another card that we will be making for the Breast Cancer project I do monthly!
Adorable right??? Practical right??? Easy right???
I simply cannot think of one person that would not adore receiving this card and guess what – it is an easy-peasy math problem….ready….
Note Card + Polka Dot Pieces + Fresh Prints = One Adorable Card
See…I still can do simple math!!!Guess what – with this paper pack, the Fresh Prints, you can do a multitude of varieties with colors…I am using the color scheme you see here but also using the crumb cake – WOWZERS – it looks super rich in those tones!
For just $6.95 you will not believe how many cards you will be able to make! To make(2) cards and line the envelope it uses 2 sheets of the same print (or because they are in the same color family – you could easily swap out for another one but I like the uniformity of them matching…(that type A in me) You'll see below how I do it!

Are you ready to see how easy this is…here is another very affordable card to make and it is also a great one to use up scraps! Let's go and I hope you CASE this one!
- The base is my go-to Note Card and Envelopes and then I took a sheet from the Fresh Prints Pack and cut it at 3" (see-you will get 2 per sheet of paper) I simply adhered this to the card base.
- The color of this paper is Coastal Cabana and what better way to use up scraps!!! POP goes the weasel with the 2 3/8" Scallop Circle Punch and then again using scraps…(just LOVE that feeling of cleaning up scraps) I stamped the image from the Polka Dot Pieces Stamp Set and POP goes the weasel again with the 1 3/4" Scallop Circle Punch…ZOOM…so fast and easy!
- To both of these punched images, I POPPED them up with Stampin' Dimensionals! Love my daily stampin' vitamins!

- Back to scraps…the banner is a piece of white that is 3/4" X 3" and then I stamped the sentiment right on and then a quick snip….VOILA!
TIP: If your stamp is not lined up properly, I would use the stamp-a-ma-jig….but I was able to do this without it….just practice to make sure as there is nothing worse than a wavy sentiment crooked!
TIP #2: Do you see what makes this card…the dashes on the banner and then the white dots on the scalloped circle is a touch that is sooooo easy yet sooooo effective! I use that White Gel Pen all the time….make sure that you store it on its side! For just $3.95 – a bargain!!!!!
- You know what's next….envelope time!!! Remember when I said that it takes 2 sheets of paper…take a sheet and cut it in half (2 1/4")….this is "just enough" to run through the Big Shot with the Envelope Liner Framlits and you are done!!!
Now I ask you….Is this doable for you???…I know it is!!! I probably have made 30 of these little gems as they are perfect for me to write a quick note to people for work! I am sure that they have a smile on their face with they see not only a handmade card…but a hand written note!!!
This will be perfect for the volunteers to make tonight and I bet that this will be their favorite card! On Friday I am going to show you another ridiculous easy card that uses this same paper stack! I hope that Stampin' Up! continues to have these paper stacks! I find them to be so versatile!
I am LOVIN' the cards that have been coming in for our Spring Card Swap! I can hardly wait to share them with everyone in future posts! I shake my head saying to John…"Wow – look at that….how fun….how clever…." So many great ideas!
Tomorrow is a Pals Paper Challenge Color Challenge…I have a simple yet classic card that does not have one sentiment on it! I think when you see it – you'll agree it can stand on its own!!! I hope you will play this week! It is a fun and different palette of colors!
Thanks for having coffee with me and please share my blog with your friends and ask them to subscribe to my daily blog….and please pop over to my facebook page and "like me" – I sure do "like you" popping by!
Until tomorrow!

Your card brings smiles! I have a hard time making monochromatic cards, but I like them a lot when I see them! I would love to see your Crumb Cake version of this card, too.
Have a good evening making cards!
Cyberhugs!
I am going to have to get this stamp set . I love polka dots ! This card is a real cutie and whoever receives it will love it . That gel pen is a favorite of mine because a white marker just isn`t the same for those dots and curly cues I like to make . I agree with you ,Susan ….love the paper stacks !
Don’t stress over monochromatic….at 1st I felt the same way and then I just kept doing it again and again and I discvered I loved it! I will snap you a picture of the crumb cake…I adore that color!!!! hugs!
Thanks for your tip of storing the white gel pen on its side!! I have 3 and none will write perhaps bc I keep them upright? Thanks for sharing another beautiful card!!
simple, sweet and beautifully done Susan. look forward to your daily posts.
Love, love ,love, simply love….oh ya did I say I Love this card!
Sooooo pretty!
Hi Susan,
I was scrolling through FB this morning. I said oh, that looks like Susan…then I checked and it was. So I LOVED this card twice. Love the stitching and the dots. I have thought about this stamp set too. I may also have to get it. 🙂
Great card and love the colors. I’m like you I use my white gel pen a lot , it really can add to a card. We have sunshine in Spokane also, but it’s still cold at night, boy am I ready for a warmer spring and summer:). Have a wonderful week.
Hi Deb….I always keep all of my markers on the side…they work much better! I know that it is easy seeing the tip standing up…but try this….I think you will like the results! Thanks for popping by!
They are going to love making this card and those who receive it will love it as well! It is so bright and cheery! I bet we all want to see the crumb cake version and not just Bridget! I had really never paid attention to this set until recently. I received a birthday card with the bird on it. I looked for the set to see what else was with it. Still wasn’t too impressed though the bird is really cute. But this flower thing turned out really cool! Even looking at the image of it with the set – it still doesn’t scream buy me, love me, and use me! But, your card sure does!!! I looked at the paper and just wasn’t sure about the big polka dots – I started getting all anxious abut trying to stay in sink with the size and stuff. Is that goofy or what? The relationship to the flower or medallion or whatever the heck it is looks great with those big bold polka dots! Of course the white gel pen is a must anyway! How many pads of that paper do you have to make as many cards as your group does!?! Have a great time tonight. Thanks for pointing out a fun set I never would have given another glance at! I agree it is hard to do the monotone look – I tried with my swap card. I had a boo-boo on it and had to cover it up with the tiny butterfly. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find my butterfly embosslit to cut another one to match so I had to rip it off an old dumb card I had made before.
Love, Love, Love!!!! Thanks for sharing!!
Cute card and I love the polka dots. Thanks for sharing.
Susan, this is so darn cute! Another stamp set I now “need”!! I agree with Chris R. that it doesn’t really look like much but in the catalog but your version of it really makes it such a sweet card. Thanks for your regular posts. Love them all!
Love this card because I love polka dots also, I love everything you post and hope you don’t mind me casing your cards and other things you do, I’m new to card making. I’m getting ready to start making crafts for a show I do in Nov. I thought that box you made would just be perfect for a box of Christmas cards to sell. Anyway thanks for sharing another wonderful product. =)
