Yesterday I shared with you that I am trying to use colors that I often forget to use etc…and yesterday it was using the color Soft Sky…(click here to see that post) and today I am using Rich Razzleberry! Once again, I cannot say why I do not use this a bunch as it is such a fun and bold color!
You can also see that this is a tall and skinny card – you know I like mixing things up and making odd shape cards and now that we have the super fun envelope punch board, I ask you "why not???" For just under $20.00 this gem makes envelopes and so much more!
Let’s get to it!
- I started with a piece of Rich Razzleberry that was 7” X 6” and then I scored it at 3 ½” to end up with a 3 ½” X 6” card! The Very Vanilla that I adhered with “green glue” measured 2 ½”” X 5”
- Using the NEW Stamp Set, In This Together (don’t you love the name) I stamped it on a piece of Very Vanilla that is 2” X 4 ½” using the new Memento Ink Pad….WHY??? When you use the (woot-woot) Blendabilities you should use this and it is a GREAT Black ink!
Comment– I know that you all are as excited as I am about these new pens and I love the fact that Stampin’ Up! is on trend with coming out with these Alcohol Ink Markers (each color assortment has 3 markers in a set)….but they WILL NOT be ready to order on Monday when the catalog launches!
I know that it is disappointing but they know that the supply is not as high as the demand is going to be on Monday and far better to know this now than be disappointed that they are on back-order…
Stampin’ Up! is hoping that they will be available at the beginning of July but I will let you know as soon as I see an update with a confirmed date….BUT – do you remember that as a Demonstrator we were able to order 6 out of the 13 color combinations they come in…..and do you remember that right now SU is offering a $50.00 special in taking a test drive with SU…..???
This is a great example of not have anything to loose and gaining great benefits! If you want to get SU products at a discount to “support your habit” than this is the perfect time to email me and I will be happy to give you the codes you need as these markers would count towards your $50.00 opening order!
Actually you could order (3) sets of the markers and the Memento Ink Pad and that would be $53.75 – BINGO…done!
- I used the Blendabilities to color in this fun image. The marker colors I used were from the Rich Razzleberry Assortment (for the dress) and the (shoes and lips) were from the Cherry Cobbler Assortment and the (flower and drink) were from the Daffodil Delight Assortment!
Comment – I honestly have not had a solid block of time to play at length with them but what I will say is…they color soooo darn easy and that since there are 3 shades in each assortment (light, medium & dark)…it makes it fun and easy to use and shade plus they are like our markers and have a brush end and a fine tip end!
- Matting this on a piece of Crushed Curry that is 2 1/8” X 4 5/8” and then POPPED up with Stampin’ Dimensionals!
- The WOW part is the envelope! I used the Envelope Punch Board with a piece of paper that was 8” X 8” and then followed the directions on the board – scoring it at 3 1/8”.
- I lined the outer flap with the Brights Designer Series Paper Stack and then jazzed it up a bit with using the Pansy Punch and the new heart that is in the punch pack….cute, right!?!?
I love making the envelope both fun and festive! There are many ways that you can do this…and this is a great example!
We made it home for 10 hours and then we are off this morning for Pensacola with my Dad! We had a FABULOUS time in Boston and the weather was just spectacular.
Many thanks for all of the great “ribbon share” orders! Please click here to see the post from the other day and if you would like to take advantage of this great opportunity to get the NEW ribbon at a fraction of the cost please email me and put in the subject line RIBBON SHARE (this helps me when I look at emails)

I am pleased to offer this to you for many reasons, but most importantly for you to be able to get a great selection of all of the new ribbon and use it 1st hand and then you can make the decision later of you want a whole roll. The minimal amount of ribbon you will receive for a certain ribbon is 2 1/2 yards! We all know that there are LOTS of stamp sets that you are "itching" to get…so this offering really helps!
Enjoy your Saturday and get ready to be super excited with the NEW Catalog…I feel like we are getting so close to turn over that hourglass!
Please feel free to email me if you have any questions about the $50.00 test drive…your 1st order will allow you to take a 1 time 30% off and how about that – you can order the NEW things on Monday and get them for 30% off and not have to but another order in until October 31st and if you decide that you do not want to order again…no worries…no penalties!!!
Until tomorrow!

Hi Susan . . . I have to say, it must be my eyes, because “once in a while” my envelopes do not come out fitting my cards. I assume I am not measuring that first score correctly, or I’m not reading it correctly. So, I save it and make a card to fit the envelope! 🙂
Cute CAS card. That stamp works well with the card size you made. Thanks for sharing and enjoy your trip.
Fun card – sort of sleek and sassy. that envelope is really fun too. The rich razzleberry goes well with the crushed curry. Glad your first leg of your trips was a success! Have a great time with your dad in Florida.
I love it! I do a lot of floral cards, but this just sparkled! mahalo Susan! I have to try this, in rich razzelberry as it’s not a color I use very often, but this combo works.
