I was looking for a special stamp to send a special friend a special card! (Now say that 3 times) Well…I think I nailed it as the sentiment was exactly what I was looking for…to "enjoy the adventure" as he has been on the best adventure and the best is yet to come! (Can you guess who it is for???)
This stamp set is a Hostess Set and I would love to work together to help you be able to get this super set! Please email me and together we can work together to achieve goals! Even if we live WAY FAR AWAY – no worries…where there is a will…there is a way and I would love to help you!
Today's card is another strange size – you know me….I just love the envelope punch board and it is just the best that you can make any size your heart desires! The finished size of the card is 4 X 7 so I can make an envelope from a regular size of paper!
I am lovin the Memento Ink….( I kind of feel bad for my Black Staz On…..as he has been back-burnered….but remember he does have a purpose when watercoloring) I chose the length for this card so I could put 2 bikes easily on it!
The "added touch" that I was tickled with was the embossed line above and below the bike…..how did I do that? After stampin my image I flipped over the very vanilla and used the Simply Scored Tool and made a nice and deep line! I personally think that you can get a "deeper" image with this tool but you could easily use your Stampin Trimmer.

Isn't the Dot Bases and Brights Candy Dots super fun in the wheels. Just think of how a simple touch like this…make a card go to wow! Fun, easy and FAST!
How about this great DSP…it is from the Flashback DSP. I think that the reason I really like it is because it coordinates with Very Vanilla…sometimes I think our papers always go to Whisper White. Please click here to see the offerings of the but 3 and get 1 free – a perfect time to stock up!
Make sure that you do not "skimp" on using stampin' dimensionals – we do not like sags and with the brads…you really need to make sure that there are plenty of dimensionals!
As I said before, I love making my own envelopes and many times I like to cut off a portion of the flp of the envelope – (just switching it up a bit) and then a simple lining of the outer flap was the perfect touch!
I couldn't resist – I just had to stamp the outside of the envelope! Now I know what you are thinking…why would I put candy dots on the front? Well, I usually always ask my postmaster to "hand stamp" my cards so they do not go thru machines….Fingers crossed they will be on when it arrives to my friend!
Please think about working together to get some hostess benefits – I would love to help you reach a goal! When you see the new Holiday Catalog…you are going to go WOWZERS….I NEED to get my friends inspired! It is soooo special!
Click here to see this Tuesday's specials….Stampin' Up! is great to have these offerings every week. Many thanks for popping in and I hope that you CASE away on this card – I think it is super cute!
Until tomorrow!
p.s. – Did you guess who this card is for….my dear friend Brian King! He has had a FABULOUS year and I am so proud of him and honored to call him my friend! He is a total hoot! (Let's see if he pops on my blog)
Even though I could not be there in person for convention…I sure was in spirit! Way to go for an amazing year my friend! You are "the King" and you always make me smile!

I am such a fan of your blog! I “tune in” everyday to see what new card you’ve designed. Thanks for the inspiration.
Great Card and no I didn’t guess Brian, but what a great card for him. I like that bike stamp and the colors. I had a good day yesterday, got to play but didn’t open the Paper Pumpkin yet. 🙂
Cute card!
I did ! I guessed it right off the bat …do I get a prize ?
This card is really cute ! He will love it !
I like the scored effect . I forget about doing that !!
I too look forward to your blog each day. Thank-you for your continued inspiration and support!
I’m sure Brian will love your card.
I was right! It was the candy dots that gave it away…..
What a great card Susan and for a great guy, too! I love both your blogs and enjoy your stories so much! Thanks!
Great card and that DP is perfect for this! It looks like some type of motion or traffic commotion in motion! Sort of what I think about when I hear Brian’s name mentioned! He seems to constantly be in motion or talking. I love his videos. Does he ever wind down? Anyway, a great card and you will have to let us know if the candy dots stay on the envelop, or at least Brian get let us know!
Cute card! I’m sure it was a hit! I enjoy seeing you use DSP, especially when you use some I can’t imagine how I would use! I like it!
See you soon!
Cyberhugs!
This is such a cute card. I really like the bicycle it reminds me of my childhood.
