This is one of those WHAM BAM cards and it comes together in a jif because of one special die…It is called the Flower Frenzy Bigz Die and I know what you are going to say…wowzers – $37.95. I do not disagree that this die is an investment…but aren't most investments in life worth it?
This whole flower image was create by this die. I was oober excited when I saw it as I instantly knew of endless possibilites with it.
The other thing that I love about a die like this is you can really use up scraps of paper and you can also put multiple colors of paper where you want them and run it though the big shot at one time. I call that a win-win and it deserves a BIG woot woot!
Speaking of the Big Shot…Stampin' Up! is having a great promotion on the Big Shot for the month of August. With the purchase of a Big Shot, you will have the opportunity to choose a bundle set for free.
The Big Shot is another one of those "investments" but we need to talk about it. It is one tool that I could never be without and it is amazing all of the different things it can do. I will admit that when I first bought it I was totally intimidated by it and thought that I would never figure it out!
Once I put "my big girl pants on" and played with it, I thought I ruined it as the cutting pads were all scratched up and I was sick….I actually called my stampin' friend and she laughed as she said that was normal…..whew!
I think that the simplicity of this card and the fact that it only used this one die is just a HUGE bonus! I realize that I could have jazzed it up a bunch more, but I want you to see it at its totally basic state!
The stamp is from the Hi There Stamp Set and boy…this set has seen lots of use already! Click here to see the post that I did with the simple "hello"….this was the card that I sent to everyone who placed a ribbon/paper share order with me!
The only "bling" that I did was the simple yet elegant single pearl in the middle, but if you did not want that extra "bump" you could easily use the white gel pen or simply leave it blank (I just love options….how about you?))
The trio of Susan dots and the lining of the outside of the envelope was all that was needed – BAM! You can see the mileage I receive from the Designer Series Paper Stacks…that's why I offered them to you…I just find them sooooo handy!
Clean, fun and done! These are the handy tyoe to keep on hand when you need a super cute card…"just because" As always, thanks for popping by and it is exciting to hear from the PALS at convention…they are having a ball and the reports are "THUMBS UP" with the new Holiday Catalog!!!
Enjoy your day and until tomorrow!

Hi Susan – I bought that die but have not used it yet. Thank you so much for the simple yet beautiful and cute card! I also wanted to tell you that I received the ribbon and paper share and was thrilled beyond words! You did an excellent job getting all that together and packaging it so beautifully! Everything arrived in great shape and I was thrilled. Thank you for being such a fun and fantastic Stampin’ Up stamping friend. Louisa
I received one of your delightful cards in my package from you . So cute plus you wrapped my items in adorable polka dot tissue paper.
I agree with you on the Big Shot hands down. It is my favorite go to product. I think you need to mention the cracking and popping as being normal also ! This is a large assortment of goodies you end up with when you run this die through ,but golly just look at all those flowers and leaves ! One stop card making !
Such a LOVELY card, Susan! I love your “trio dots”, too. I used to do marker doodling on my cards before we had all the amazing tools we have now. I love that you use your dots 😉 I think I am going to take advantage of the Big Shot promotion in August! Thanks, Susan!
Susan, This is so beautiful. I love everything about this card and envelope. You are amazing. Happy Stamping, Hugs, Ellen Hinds
Very pretty!! Also, I want to thank you for my package that I received the other day!1 Love it…can’t wait to use the paper!
I love “hey” stamp. It’s a more informal and familiar greeting for your friends. I think I’m going to need that set!
Every card you make is BAM! The Wham is because you are so talented! Great simple card!
Hey right back at you! I think it took me a good year to find “big girl pants” big enough to fit – I was so scared to try using it. I didn’t even take it out of the box! I was so intimidated by it. Now, I wonder what took me so long as I have to hold up my big girl pants because it is well used as well as the elastic in my pants! O.k. now do I have you or John rolling with laughter? Yeah, I have been off my game with my comments, I know!
This card is so cute and special. I wish I had purchased some shares so I could have received this card! It is sooo cute as is the envelope! Oh, you could also punch out a tiny circle for the center of the flower too for less bumpiness. I have also seen people use a clean pencil eraser to make a simple dot using your ink pad. I personally make too many mistakes to have a clean new eraser on a pencil but it might be worth a try!
With all this said about your cutey patootie card, I am off to play with my “punkin” kit that came today. It is so fun! I have an office buddy who is having some rough times with her kids and other stuff. Her favorite color is purple. I bet she finds one of the little boxes on her desk this week with some chocolate in it!
