Good Morning! I am "Happy" this morning as it is the Pals weekly PPA Challenge and not only do I love the sketch that Margaret Moody created for us…I am super happy with my card as it is my kinda card…crisp, clean and just plain old FUN!
I do hope that you will pop by the PPA Website and better yet, I do hope that you play along this week! I know that there are many of you that do a personal challenge with yourself on Mondays and YOU ALL ARE AMAZING….so why not – submit your entry, you will be proud of yourself!
I love the Mingle All The Way Stamp Set, and if you go to the search box and put in that stamp name, you will see several cards I have used this stamp set…I still need to use one more up but I think you can see by my examples, it's a keeper of a set!
I love to color but sometimes I feel that if you have a relatively small, detailed area…if you introduce too many colors it starts to look like "Candy Land" ( I did love that game growing up).
Today I used used a very small and selective area to color using the Blendabilities in the Cherry Cobbler and Old Olive using the lightest color….less is best in my opinion….what do you think?
The sizes of the color panels are 1 1/2" and then the (3) at 1" and then the lower one at 3/4" This card to me screams a fun and festive Holiday!
The simple ribbon with a "knot" adhered to it with a glue dot is a great finishing touch! I need to apologize…I have someone email me with how do I make my "knots"….and as silly as it sounds – I really do not know…I just do it until I like it! I really do not think there is much to it but I will try to figure out some "text" to help you!
Simplicity is always a key factor for me in my card making…you can never go wrong with Stampin' Dimensionals! These gems just add the "lift" and the focal interest to your projects….don't skimp on them – we all know that being "saggy" in the middle is not the best!
The DSP made the envelope POP! So festive and fun! Please do not forget….you only have 2 weeks left to take that test drive with Stampin' Up! and you will be able to earn a pack of DSP of your choice for the next 6 month…be able to get 20% off each and everyday….be a part of an amazing group of stampin' fun people….yada-yada!!!!
Please email me and we will chat! You can click here and see the details! Pick up your card…take it for a spin….if it is not for you….no worries!
I thank you for popping in today and hopefully I was able to inspire you! This layout would be fun for so many different cards…..remember think out of the box and have fun!
Until tomorrow!

YOU ARE AMAZING. You knocked ithis sketch out of the park. Beautiful.
Love it. Your stitches and knot are very nice.
🙂
Simple but sweet. Always love your style. Did you use a regular marker to do the stitching?
Great ! I picked up three ideas from your card .
#1..I could just use the Happys if I wanted to with this sentiment (I love this set )
#2..You showed that pretty ribbon up close ….gotta get !
#3..I like how you used the ribbon just wrapped on the focus square !
Cute !
Cheery card, Susan. Love the clean lines! If you don’t mind I’d like to use your ‘Candy Land’ comparison in the future. A very good one! Thanks.
Love!!! More “stuff” I must purchase! 🙂
Love your bold graphic design! And your CandyLand reference is spot on 🙂
So classic and clean! Just beautiful, my friend!!
Perfect Christmas card, the red and white are fabulous!
What a fun take on the sketch! I love this bright and cheery card! I have been wanting this stamp so I can color in the candy cane looking letters! That paper you used for the envelope couldn’t have been any better! I have been using knots a little more than bows lately. Well, at least that is my intention! I have to actually make the card!
You made me smile and laugh. Of course …. Please Candy land on.

Susan, I don’t use sentiment stamps as my focal point often but this one is really awesome. It looks beautiful, you applied the color just in the right spots to avoid making look to busy. Love the ribbon and how you wrapped it around your sentiment, it looks like a gift.
Thank you for sharing.
beautiful card, and as usual, I love your stitching!!
Darling card and a must CASE. Another stamp from the set that I am looking forward to using.
What a wonderful holiday card Susan! It is really striking!
