Good Thursday morning to all! Thursday is the day that is the Pals Paper Art to share with you a challenge and for you to take that sketch and put your twist on it! Now…let me tell you….there are many of you that do that Monday personal challenge that I do…so….how about trying this one!?!?!
Here is the sketch and I just had to "play again" with the Santa and Company Designer Series Paper and these "so called Santa's" make me laugh as much as the moose did on Monday? Click here to see that fun card!
I was happy with the end result of this card and I will say..I already know exactly who is getting this card…(I do think these guys need a recipient that appreciates a non-traditional Santa) I do adore the colors that are in the DSP…let's get going!
I am going to share with you some measurements today as this is a great layout for future cards! Please do not be afraid to use DSP….you can see that the "POP" of extra color makes it fun!
- The Base is an A-2 card and the Basic Grey is 5 3/8" X 4 1/8" (please pop out some of the middle of this grey as it will ultimately be covered up with the DSP and Old Olive.)
- The Santa & Co. DSP is 2 3/4" X 4" and the Old Olive is 2 1/4" X 4" and then I used the "snowflakes" and the white craft Ink to make the flakes fall!
- The Stamp Set that I used is Visions of Santa (and this is not my image of a Santa when I was young) but they do make me smile! I heat embossed the sentiment with the white embossing powder and that always created an instant WOW!
- You can also see that the other star of the card is the white gel pen…this pen is my friend, and I think that the "extra touch" it brings is a must have!
Today I did both dashed and dots….the best advice I can give you is….JUST DO IT and to not worry about if they are even or not…it truly does not matter and in the long run – it will look great!
- The below picture is a great shot to see the snowflakes as well as "lifting" the focal sentiment up with the stampin' dimensionals.
- A great tip I give to you today is to make sure that you have the Whisper White Craft Ink in your stash of goodies….why????? This makes a great impact and it is something that you "just need in certain times"...this is a product that is often over looked!
- The mailman is going to "bust out laughing" with the envelope lining…."I bet he will smile" as every-time I see this paper, I smile!
That's it….how about giving it a try?!?!? It is a fun sketch and I think that you have many stamps that will make is shine!
Please pop onto the other Design Artist's to see the inspirations that they came up with – WOWZERS….so much talent out there!
Thanks for popping in and please email me if I can be of help….
Let's all have a great day and until tomorrow! ( It's a FUN birthday treat…..) – please pop back!

This DSP/stamp set always makes me LOL! Great job.
🙂
I have been on the fence about getting this set, but I just may have to now. I love your card!
These visions of Santas do make me smile! Very cute and whimsical, Susan!
Really?? I mean, what cuter card is there than this one! I love this! I think you’re right…Santa aerobics class. This paper is so much fun and I have yet to use but one piece of it. I need to get busy. I love your card so much! Smiling!
Yes it made me smile. I think my friend Pam would adore this. I had to look to see if the moose was on the other side of the paper and it is not. So, somehow I bet I end up getting some of this paper – even if I get it via Ann’s shares. Whether they are doing their aerobics, dancing, or what, it still makes you smile. How about a card made with the moose and Santa both in their red union suits? I just might have to look on Pinterest to see what others have done!
Your card is adorable – and definitely fun!
Very fun card, Susan. Love your dots and dashes!! Ho! Ho! Ho!
So many Santas = lots of fun! Very cute!
Your dancing Santa’s are so cute, such a fun filled card.
