Woot-woot….it is that time again! How about a Christmas/Hanukkah/Winter Card Swap! I love offering this to you and I even love receiving your cards and this time I get to be Santa and mail you someone elses card!
For those of you that have never participated in a card swap….please….pretty please join the fun! Here is the scoop – all you have to do is make 1 card in your choice of the themes above (Christmas/Hanukkah/Winter) and mail it to me along with an envelope that is stamped and already addressed to you and you will get the gift of a lifetime – a handmade card from a "new friend"!
As John always says….it is the simple pleasures like these swaps that make you so happy – he is so right!
I know that this is going to be a super busy time of the year so if I were you and want to participate….I would sit down and get going! Please do not stress about it…just make it a reflection to who you are….
If you like fru-fru…..than fru-fru!!!
If you like to be simple….than be simple!!!
If you like to heat embossed…than crank up that heat tool and go to town!!!
I just want you to have fun! After I receive all of the cards….Jeamie and I will do our magic and take pictures and then I will showcase them on my blog – this is always a fun time for everyone to see the cards we all made!
I have no problem opening this up to people that live internationally, the only thing I request is for you to shoot me an email letting me know that you are sending a card to me so I can plan accordingly if the postal service is slow! Also, please make sure that you put the correct currency on your envelope with your address in it!
The date for the cut off is Wednesday, December 10th! I know that this is close to Christmas but I know that you all will LOVE receiving a special "gift of a card" ! This is always fun and I do hope that you will join in with the fun!
Now to my wonderful anniversary……I need to say a HUGE THANK YOU to all for the wonderful comments you sent! We had a fabulous time and I need to share with you something extra special….John did say to me…..
"Close your eyes"…..(I did)…and presto – a handmade card from him...and he was sooo darn tootin' proud!
Even before I could say anything…he said….did you notice…the color????Silver for 25 years (well it is Smokey Slate , I was just happy that he thought about this)….and then I said I loved the pink and quickly he said – NO, IT IS REAL RED!!! (I burst out laughing)
I was very, very touched and as I have said before – he is a keeper and I look forward to more wonderful adventures ahead!
Thanks for popping by – please join in with the card swap – they are super fun and you will love seeing your card on my blog….I just love showcasing your work!
Tomorrow's card is going to make you smile….I hope to see you back!
That is so sweet that your hubby made you a card!!!! Congratulations on your Anniversary. Cheers to many more!
Hi Susan, John’s card is wonderful. What a testimony to your creative inspiration…even your husband is a stamper now. Perhaps he could be an honorary member of the team!
I love when a man shows sensitivity. We could all use a little more of that.
Congratulations John and Susan.
Great card John! Happy 25th to you both. I’d like to play along with the card swap. I have only 1 question. Do we have to use stampin up products only? Most of my stamping supplies are in storeage, as we currently live with a friend. (My Christmas stamps included) let me know, so I can get creative with the supplies I have. Thanks Jessica
John’s wonderful card made me cry! That is so special! I’m glad you had a great anniversary!
Thanks for setting up another swap! I hope to participate. I need to get my act together a bit!
Cyberhugs to you!

What a sweet and romantic gesture! As everyone could see, John’s card was made with love and deserves a double “Whoot, Whoot!”

Awwww….. John’s card is super great, and you can tell he put a lot of thought into it. Using silver for the 25th, well…. that makes my heart happy. Very thoughtful. I think John should absolutely be the honorary member of your team, and we need to see more of his creations! He’s great! Happy Anniversary…. and may God Bless you with many more years!
As for your swap, I think I am actually going to participate. I have been following you for a few months now, and would love to be a part of it. I’ll get my card out to you pronto! Have a great week! And, thanks for your upbeat blog posts, you always make me smile! 🙂 Hugs!
Oh my goodness!! how sweet of your husband to create this beautiful card for you, just the mere fact that he went in your craft room, picked the paper, inks and that wonderful sentiment, speaks volumes of him!!
Congratulations Susan on this Silver Anniversary, best wishes for many more!!!
I love when a man shows sensitivity. We could all use a little more of that.
Congratulations John and Susan.
So sweet! I still have a card my husband made me for our first anniversary 45 years ago! They are truly special!
You are so right, Susan, he’s a keeper. Really like his card, he did a good job:)
Wow! I am impressed! Way to go John! He chose the perfect sentiment for you too? You two were made for each other. Happy Anniversay.
Wow ! John ,you might be getting a call from Hallmark !! You did such a great card !
Happy Anniversary to you two !
You are so blessed to have such a wonderful guy! A handmade card by him was so thoughtful and sweet. He IS a keeper!
Will get my holiday card off to you right away. Can’t wait!
I got a laugh out of John and his “Real Red” – you should have asked if there was a fake red to see what he said! He did a great job, truly amazing as it states! Hot dang another swap! I will try not to agonize over it. Oops, too late – I am already trying to decide on holiday, winter or Hanukkah. Then there is the color scheme to think about. Needs to be mailable. Do I go with a favorite stamp of old or a new set or stamp. Strictly SU or do I combine stamps, papers, embelishments, or what? Whatever, I do I may have to just do it quick and send it and not think about it any more. I can already see visions of cards dancing in my head tonight! To all of us a Good Night!
Awww, Joohn’s card is great! It is awesome that he thought of the color of card stock to signify 25 years and so cute that he knew the color was “Real Red” not just red. Isn’t it wonderful when some of what is important to us rubs off on our hubbies. You are blessed to have him and he to have you!
It’s beautiful!
