Hello my cyber friends…WOWZERS – I feel like I have been on a "treadmill" that has not stopped! It has been a WONDERFUL treadmill and I have soooooo much to share with you about the "furry friend" aka "no name"….but that will have to be for another post….
I know…I know – many of you are wondering what it is etc….but I will say – it was an experience that John and I have never had with an animal but "all is good" – I think that the "GREEN" light will be on but we need to think of a name……
We had a wonderful day yesterday and I will say that I did not open my computer once…and we had a FABULOUS day being at home….lots of great food, laughter, fun…..just perfect!
Today I am going to share with you a BUNCH of pictures that hopefully will make this card "make sense" to you that I blogged about on Monday! Please click here to see that post and you will see that for today's instructions, I change up the colors!
I do hope that this helps and you have fun….please do not hesitate to email me if you need further help! Darn, wouldn't it just be easier for me to do videos – now that the "PEEPS" are home…..maybe they will help their dear old Mom! I just need to take the plunge!
The card is an A-2 vertical card and then this part is the "top" part! Again, please refer to the Blog Posting I did on Monday!
A great card to have fun with colors and a great way to use up scraps! I used the Designer Series Paper Stack in Garden Green for this sample!
You have hear me say this sooooo many times – if you have the basics and "time savers" it makes card making so much more fun! Necessities are to have glue dots, stampin' dimensionals, green glue and sticky strip!

Sorry the pictures are not the best – I use one of my "PEEPS" room to take pictures and they were sleeping in…it is wonderful to have them home!
I wanted to touch on the "below picture" – I also carried the bakers twine across the front of the card and I used a thin bead of the green glue to adhere it. Just a little added touch that I think makes it fun!

Well I hope that this helped you! I really do like this card and I think that I might try it with Baked Brown Sugar and then use Cherry Cobbler and also some in Always Artichoke for the ornaments!
Well I must say, it is WONDERFUL to be at home and enjoying the simplicity of enjoying and embracing the Holiday! I am not one to deal with the MASSIVE CROWDS as that totally stresses me and take the fun out of the real reason for the season!
Please remember to use the hostess code of…
UAD6ZDV6
and one lucky person will be able to win a bunch of "hostess dollars" – The ONLINE EXTRAVAGANZA is just the best….and it is a great opportunity to get great Stampin' Up! products as a huge saving!

Enjoy the day, thanks for popping in and I hope that the tips help you! Please know that I am so very thankful and blessed to have you be a part of my "happiness with Stampin' Up!"….I still "pinch" myself that I blog…I would have never imagine that I would do this!
I found this clip art and LOVED IT – how would you answer it!
Until tomorrow….stampin' hugs!

Good Morning Susan, 7 things to do . . . hmmm . . . make cards, watch movies, eat leftovers, crochet, go to work (sorry), call a friend and play some games . . . and I will be doing many of these things. I tried to introduce a new Thanksgiving tradition . . . playing a game after dinner. I wonder where I got that idea? Well, guess what, no one was game! Ha. Ha.
xoxo 🙂
Oh Susan, you are a true teacher at heart ! Love that you go into such detail on your card “put togethers”. I will be first in line if you ever decide to do videos ! But your pictures are the best ever and easy to follow .
I am going to brave the crowd at Michael`s today to pick up a new Ott light with magnifier they put out Wed.and at check out I received a 50% off coupon ! So if I never show up here again you will know I got mauled at the Mall !
I too love the detail you put into your directions. It’s so helpful to have measurements. I love your blog and all your cards and projects. You are very talented.
Loved this card.
When I CASE it, I might bring in some more color but not sure. Seven things that I did today besides shopping: made some candy holders for the grandchildren for place settings for Christmas, did FOOD shopping for dinner guests for tomorrow, prepared veggies to roast, set the table, sent out two Thank You cards to two daughters and families that had us over for Thanksgiving(one in New Market, MD and the other in NY), played Words With Friends, relaxed and reminisced about how lucky I am.
7 things: started my day with church….treated myself to a Tropical smoothie, went shopping at a “thrift store” where everything was $1. (good stuff:), helped my hubby rearrange his closet, made dinner with the left overs, called a couple friends who need some love ~ they are going through a tough time, and was thankful again all day 🙂
Aaahhh…7 things to do today…use the big shot, use embossing folders, use my new stamps, use different ink pads, use framelits, use my trimmer, use all my adhesives. LOL My kind of day!!! Oh yea, and take a nap!!! hahahaha
Love Jeanie’s comment! Again, a fun card. I think I like the green dotted paper though better. Of course that is just my thought. Either way, this is a fun card. Great tips for us too! Glad you had a great time yesterday. I just thought about baked brown sugar with a dark blue like a navy. That would be pretty cool and contrast nicely too.
All me fellow stampers have much better ideas than me! My 7 are: Clean from yesterday, wash linens from yesterday, nap, get Christmas decorations down and get ready to start tomorrow, dinner out!, Pay bills and watch one more Hallmark movie while wrapping!! Sadly no paper fun…..maybe tomorrow!
1) Make a card.
2) Check my favorite stampin blogs.
3) Play games with family.
4) exercise.
5) Read a book or magazine for pleasure.
6) Cook something yummy.
7) enjoy a nice glass of wine at the end of the day!
Well, I only did a few of these things, but what a great exercise to remind us to maintain and enrich the quality of our lives.
