Woot-woot……I am sooo darn tootin' glad that so many responded with a comment with the colors that they like….(well today!!!) I know that many of you are like me as these choices can change daily…!
I LOVED reading the color combinations and it seems like there are many of you that really adore Blackberry Bliss…..and WOW – I sure do love those die hards like me that like the "safe" colors…Sometimes I feel like I am so boring but I am a traditionalist at heart!
I am learning from YOU and I thank you for your ideas! I will keep them in mind and I hope that each of you try some of these color combinations! This is the part that I adore about bloging….you can let your personality and your ideas come to life and I thank you for popping by!
Now…..let's get to the winner…….drum roll….drum roll…..and I had over 176 (by 10 p.m.) comments yesterday (I understand that some people had a hard time leaving a comment, but please know that I received your email and you are in the count!)

Let's go…..
THIS CARD is my go to 3…Strawberry Slush, Black and White…and I like the accent of Pear Pizazz and I knew that this card was the perfect card to unveil my likes…(well, today….I do change often but this is soooo clean, classic, crisp and clean!)
Now this is what totally made me smile….there is nothing like a beautiful handwriting and this touched my heart!

Beautiful….gorgeous…classic and oh so versatile with the change up with a variety of sentiments! I love all of the textures of this card and I forget about "tearing" paper….it looks so fabulous!
Now to the BLOG CANDY QUESTION OF THE DAY…..
It is so simple. so easy and such a topic that we all would like to here how YOU feel….
What is your favorite type of card to make?
(examples…Birthday, Thinking of You…Anniversary etc….)
What will you win?
A variety of my favorites…"green glue", stampin' dimensionals, a pack of Whisper White Paper, a silicone mat and a White Gel pen!
I thought that this would be a fun thing to see what we are all comfortable with in making….by sharing our comments – we all learn from one another!
Thank you for your time….I know that we are all soooooo darn busy but it is great that we can all share a bit of our day together!
Stampin' hugs….until tomorrow!

My favorite type of card is Thinking of you. I find it very versatile. I’m so happy to see your daily blogs again; they make me happy. Continued best wishes to you!!
My favorite cards are wedding cards . I incorporate the bridal parties colors into the card to make it personal.
My all time favorite, suitable for so many occasions, is Thinking of You cards.
My favorite cards to make are Thank You cards; there is always so much to be thankful for and it makes it easy to incorporate other sentiments inside the card with a hand-written note. Glad you are doing so much better and know you make my mornings each and every day with your posts. Hugs and best to ROSIE too, please! I hope she has shed her cone and that she and the rest of the menagerie are all doing super, along with hubby and peeps, of course. 🙂
Thinking of You cards are always nice to send … it isn’t a Hallmark saying, but one I made up when I first started stamping … “Send a smile today!” … that is what Thinking of You cards do for me when I am making one for someone and then, when they receive it, it sends a smile right to them to know that someone stopped to hand make a card especially for them! SO happy to wake up to your blog posts every morning! You can tell, just by what you are writing, that Susan is back! YIPPEE!!! You continue to take care! BIG HUGS to you!!!
A “just because” is my favorite card to make. Glad you have been doing better!
I typically like to make cards that can serve a variety of occasions. I have them made and then when I need one just have to pick an appropriate sentiment to pop on the card. Of course, this doesn’t apply to all occasions but does come in handy when pressed for time. Have a wonderful weekend and stay WARM!
I like to make Baby Cards cause they can be such fun. Just ordered the little Baby Bumblebee stamp.
Adorable with a gift card to a favorite store for baby items. Let them decide what is needed.
Glad you are feeling better each day Susan.
i would have to say “thank you” or “thinking of you” cards. I am constantly making cards for my son’s teachers (eight of them) to say “thanks” because they are such an important part of his life. He has some special needs, and with their constant help AND love, we have seen him come out of his shell little by little. I find every little reason to make them small treat holders and cards so that they can feel special and know how much they are loved and appreciated. Let’s all give a hand to the teachers in the world! What would we do without them?
I’m joining the crowd with “Thinking of You” cards. I need to send out lots of Birthday cards, but a “thinking of you” is nice to just pop in the mail when I’m, well, thinking of them.
So glad you’re back Susan. Hope the ankle is healing properly and that you will soon be your active self again. Love and prayers to you and the furry ones, and the “peeps” too.
My favorite is ANY type as long as it gives me an excuse to hide out in my ‘craft cave’ to do what I love best….get creative and play with gorgeous papers! Glad you are on the mend, Susan.
Good Morning! My favorite card would be “Thinking of You”. People get many birthday cards, get well cards or anniversary cards, as well as holiday cards. The surprise element is a card for no reason, Thinking of You. The power of this is amazing and my favorite. (Wish I would do more of them for friends . . . sometimes life gets in the way.)
Have a great day Susan, and thanks a bunch for doing this.
🙂
My favorite is anything personalized. I love making them to fit the person, whether that includes their name, special interests, etc.
Hi Susan,
I like making Christmas cards, I get to use a snowman and I just love how bright and cheerful they make you feel. A snowman always makes me smile 🙂
Teresa
I like making all kinds of cards so it is hard to pick just one. If I had to pick one it would be a general card. That way I can use it for anything. Kids cards are fun to make though. Have a wonderful day, Susan.
Birthday. I use a lot of birthday cards, because I pass them out at church.
I really like making any type card except “sympathy” cards….those are so difficult, but, if I have to pick one, I would say “thinking of you” cards….I have a couple of elderly aunts and uncles who, in some cases, have lost their spouses and are living alone. They always seem to get a kick out of getting a card at a time that’s not birthday, Christmas or some specifically defined holiday/occasion. Warms my heart.
My favorite type of card to write is a note sized Thank You card. I usually link the idea to the season or occasion and have fun with it. Plus, I know that it will be appreciated since not that many young people actually write Thank You notes on paper any more.
I make a lot of birthday cards. I have a large family, so it’s nice to have these on hand,
I like to make “everyday” cards….they are so useful, you can add on an embellishment or change the sentiment and it totally changes the card.
I like to make birthday cards. I especially like to personalize to the birthday individual.
I enjoy making birthday cards. They are always “happy” cards – cheery and bright.
Hi Susan…glad you are getting better! I love to make “neutral ” cards and not put a greeting on them. This helps me keep a quick variety on hand. Take care!
Hi — I mostly make general cards and personalize them as needed
for the occasion. I do make over 125 Christmas cards too.
I usually make lots of Birthday and thank you cards. But I do have others on hand for just in case.
I love to make and send the purely simple “Hello” card. It never needs a reason to be sent, it’s just a wonderful way to stay connected. Ann
Even though most people don’t send out Halloween cards, they are my favorite to make. I guess I just love the colors – color makes me very happy. Valentine cards are fun too but Halloween cards are my very favorite.
I like to make Thinking of You cards. They work for a number of occasions. Glad you are back to blogging Susan!
I love birthday cards because you can use some really fun colors and paper but Valentines Day cards are a close second. They just warm the heart in the cold month of February for all those I love.
I enjoy making birthday cards the most. Especially customizing them for each recipient.
I tend to make Thinking of You cards. But, last night I made a coordinating packet of 8 Birthday cards. Your question of 3 fav colors sparked a creative surge. And I am so challenged when it comes to birthday cards so it really was way out of my usual comfy creative spot.
Any personalized card! I have 5 friends plus my husband (and myself) with February birthdays….so guess what I will be creating this weekend? Also, “get well” for injuries. I make easel cards with my Tilda stamps, and bandage the appropriate body part.
I enjoy making birthday cards;smarty pants, wise cracking birthday cards to make the receiver laugh. BUT never a card that might be hurtful to the receiver.
I like making Thank You or Thinking of You cards. I can quickly make these. Where with Birthday cards I make a card for the specific person in mind and it takes a lot more time. I’m happy to see the birthday stamps and dies in the Occasional catalog. Have a great weekend!
Just to make a card, doesn’t have to be for a reason. I make ahead lots of cards that can be incorporated into what I need at the moment. I do like to make inner active cards, especially for children. Stay warm and off that leg.
Birthday cards are my favorite ones to make. I try to “personalize” them for the recipient ~~ sports-themed cards for the athletes, floral cards for the gardeners, milestone cards for those celebrating a special birthday, etc.
I love to make “generic” cards that I can use for whatever the occasion.
I just enjoy making cards. I make more birthday cards because my list is long. Glad you’re back to blog land.
I love making birthday cards! Birthdays are very special around here. All my peeps get a handmade card, handmade gift and their favorite meal. Congratulations to Lucy!
I don’t usually make cards with specific sentiments since I can then use them for any occasion by stamping on an appropriate saying. But if pressed, I would say Happy Birthday cards win out for me since they can be so fun and a bit over-the-top!
Love making Thinking of you cards as they can be used for so many occasions.
I always love making Christmas cards and reaching out to family and friends with greetings and love. I receive a lot of feedback from everyone too!
I love making birthday cards and trying to tailor them to the personality of the recipient. My next favorite is sympathy cards — although the reason for sending them is sad, I always hope that they will bring some comfort to the family that is grieving.
Thinking of you cards just because they can be used for so many occasions. Thank you Susan for all the inspiration that you provide…you are very much appreciated!!!
Hi Susan….I will have to say “Thinking of You” because it serves just about every purpose. I find myself going to my card box and then picking that because it can be a hello, sympathy, just because or thinking of you. Thanks so much for your daily blog, I love the inspiration!
My favorite type of card is just “hi” or “thinking of you”. There are no restrictions with these cards. You aren’t limited to balloons, birthday cakes, Christmas trees…the sky’s the limit. And how fun is it to send a card for no reason when the recipient isn’t expecting it? Happy Stampin’!
“Thinking of You” and I am thinking of you, Susan! Happy you are on the mend!
Many of the card designs I make can be incorporated into most occasions which is so helpful when I have brain freeze for ideas (but I have your blog for inspiration). My favorite card to make is “just because” and knowing that I may put an unexpected smile on someone’s face makes me happy! Enjoy your day and stay warm, Susan!
I, unlike most, like to make sympathy cards personalized to the recipient. I always get a lot of compliments and they make someone’s day. I send a lot of birthday cards so they would be some of my favorites. Thank you for always inspiring me to be a better stamper.
I love making birthday cards! I feel so special on my birthday and I like to make sure others know they are special on theirs. I’m not good at masculine cards though, but I’m working on it!
I love Christmas and enjoying making those cards the most.
my favorite type of card to make is thinking of you so that they can be used for anything
I like holiday cards (Christmas, Valentines, Easter, Halloween, etc.). I live in Michigan and embrace the 4 seasons and enjoy the cycle of the year as it progresses. I now get to enjoy it with my grandsons so I like celebrating each holiday with fun projects.
I like having time to just sit & build “stream of consciousness” cards, layering papers, ribbons & die cuts with no particular purpose in mind. Lately, though, I’ve been doing lots of birthday cards, since this year I WILL produce handmade cards for every member of my family, down to the newborn great-great nieces/nephews & for the members of my book club. This is our club’s 60th anniversary year and I’m prez so I think it will be fun.
I really enjoy making Christmas cards. I think of all the wonderful friends we have made in different cities while I am making these cards.
I love Halloween cards for some reason but only make those once a year, of course. On a regular basis I would say a thinking of you or just because card is so very versatile. Then I can stamp a greeting on the inside that specifically suits the occasion. Feel better soon!
I actually make 2 cards the most. My husband is a pastor so I make sympathy cards for when members lose a loved one. I also make tons of thank you cards!
Thinking of you, as then I can add any occasion to the inside…….Love all the new product!!
My favorite cards to make are Birthday and Just Because. Love sending Just Because cards to friends for no special occasion.
Thanks for sharing the cards you are receiving. They are absolutely beautiful! I would have to say that my favorite cards to make are Thinking of You cards. They can be sent just to say hello and make someone smile.
I’m a “Thinking of You” card maker. Just like a lot of others said, it’s fun to personalize it and surprise someone with a hand made card.
I like to make birthday cards…especially for kids.
I like to make “Thinking of You” cards. It’s a great one to have in my stash, it goes with so many situations. It can even be birthday!
Hi Susan, my favorite type of card is a “thank you” card. I try to have a stack of them ready to fire off at a moments notice. Thanks for the chance to win the “candy”.
My most favorite is cards for kids. My friends and I gather and make a huge box for the children’s hospital in Chicago. They are then sent all over the U.S. to hospitals. Love that they are making kids smile!
My favorite card types are hello and thinking of you cards. They allow your imagination to run wild.
I like “Thank You” cards best. It seems as though the themes for these cards are limitless. And it’s is so much fun to thank people and feel you will make their day with your thoughts.
Most definately birthday cards especially
for my family. I try to think of things they
Like and incorporate it in the card.
I like hello or hello there card and just because. They are nice because you can make them into anything else with another note in the inside for whatever purpose is you are sending. Hello…. thank you. Hello… Happy Birthday…. Hello…. I miss you.
More and more I am finding myself making non-specific cards that project a feeling (cutesy, formal, funny, etc.) and then adding the sentiment (Happy birthday, thank you, etc.) later inside the card.
My favorite to make are birthday cards, with Thinking of You second.
It has to be Christmas cards for me, Susan. I love Christmas designer paper, snowflakes, snowmen, sparkles, glitter (my favorite on a Christmas card)and all the fun stamps.
Thinking of you, besause I can taylor it for the specific occasion on the inside before sending on to the individual.
I like making any type of card because I love playing with paper ,scissors and glue!!!!!
Paper, Scissors and Glue Forever!!!!!!
Thinking of you, because I can taylor them on the inside for the specific occasion before sending them on to the indidual.
I enjoy making birthday cards and I always try to make them personal – either to match the gift or something that person likes. One of my favorite cards that I made had a photo of my friend and me when we were in college together. I framed it using the square framelits and surrounded it with punched out flowers. She loved it!
Birthday cards are the most fun for me!
Birthday cards are probably what I make most, my Mom was a great one for always remembering everyones birthday and I have tried over the years to follow her example.
I don’t have a favorite kind of card to make. I am so bad at getting to actually making them, my favorites are the ones I finish!!! I get too busy at making them elaborate, most of the time. I always like seeing ones that you make that are not so elaborate, or “complicated” as my mother called mine. I do like making personalized cards for whatever the reason is.
Cyberhugs!
I love to make Thank You and Thinking of You cards. I use these the most. Glad you are on the mend. Blessings to you and your family.
Hi Susan, sounds like you are feeling better, that’s a good thing!!! I like to make cards with flowers or butterflies and use them as I need them for birthday, get well or just because!!
I like making Christmas cards. there are so many reasons to send cards. I have been in love with them since a young age
I’m in with Thinking of You. I know how I appreciate going to the mailbox and seeing something other than the regular daily mail.
I love to make birthday cards. I like to personalize them as much as possible. It takes a little longer, but worth it.
So glad you are feeling better! My favorites are Thinking of You, or Just Because. I have lots of friends and family out of state, and I love to send them a little something out of the blue to let them know I am thinking of them.
I love to make a card for any occasion but make birthday cards for all of my immediate family and extended family, as well as co-workers.
My favorite to make are birthday cards. I try to make one for each of my extended family.
I love to make the “just because” Thinking of You cards. I can personalize them if I need something quick and specific, but I love mashing up different papers and designs.
I make a lot of general “Thinking Of You” type cards. I find I can use them in so many ways, such as get well, sympathy, just because, congratulations, thanks, birthdays and even plain note cards.
My favorite kind of cards to make is Christmas cards. I make nearly 100 each year (6 different kinds…15 of each). LOVED the stamps sets that SU came out with this past year. My second favorite kind of card (if I can have one!) is Valentine cards. They are such fun to decorate with papers, hearts and embellishments. I also have a cousin who is in treatment for nearly a year for breast cancer and I am trying to send her a thinking of you card every week. (It’s exhausting my creativity…LOL!) Thanks for the chance to win.
My most favorite type of card is a Christmas card. I make a lot of them so like to make about 3 or 4 different designs.
I like to make almost any kind of card! I am crazy about this craft!! I am so glad that I was introduced to this art of expressing your wishes to family & friends. I make LOTS of birthday cards……have a big “blended” family & I like to make each card with a thought towards that recipients personality or hobbies…..such fun! Thanks for the opportunity to win a treat & so glad to see you back to your passion of stamping.
The majority of my cards are for birthdays. I do love to make thinking of you and send for no special reason other than “you are on my mind”!
I make about 75 cards a month for my church card ministry, most of them BIRTHDAY, which is my favorite to make, ladies, men and special children.
Cards are just fun to make. Other paper projects are fun too, but making a card especially if it’s for someone specific is truly a pleasure for me. I have so many card ideas pinned and saved I could make a different one every day for a couple of years at least ( probably longer). I’m aure you and most of your readers would agree. Am off to create a ‘Just A Note’ card my favorite card, for today!
Have a good weekend!!
My favorite cards to make are “milestone” events such as anniversaries, birthdays, etc. I also like to surprise people in “odd” years, such as “Happy 23rd!”.
My favorite card to make is a birthday card. They are fun and colorful, and often personalized for the person.
My favorite cards are the stair step or graduated blocked cards. Every time I do one it amazes me that I actually created something so fun to decorate. I use the card bases for everything. Thank You, Birthday, whatever. I especially enjoy thinking up things for my son to use. It’s hard to get teens to write their Thank You cards and especially hard to find anything fun for a teen boy – so these are my favorite. Yay!
Thinking of you cards because it makes ‘me’ feel better also!
I make a lot of “hello” cards. I can use these to brighten a day or acknowledge an accomplishment, congrats on a new house, get well and for those whom we know are not going to get well.
My favorite type of card to make is birthday cards, particularly for my grandchildren. When we are all gathered together for gift opening and the children get ready to open “Memaw’s” card, they always say oh this is going to be the best card of the day! Always makes me feel so good!
I like to make sympathy cards. Mostly because I love simplicity and flowers and find them soothing, which is what I want in this kind of card.
I try to make a variety of cards, I would get bored of the same sentiments. I think my most favorite card to make is a baby card. It is such a joyful occasion and you can do so much with it.
Definitely Thinking of You cards! You can stretch your creativity…
Hi Susan,
my favorite card to make is Christmas. I am a Christmas-a-holic when it comes to stamps and making cards. I can’t get enough LOL
Hope you’re healing quickly…
hugs
My favorite card to make is Anniversay. I try to combine both feminine and masculine elements in them and that makes it a challenge. I don’t want it to be just neutral but instead to incorporate an element for both the husband and the wife. Thanks for a chance to win.
Hi Susan…I would have to say my favorite card to make is a “Thinking of you” card…It is just so fun to send a card to someone not expecting it!!! Love to make someone smile for a bit. I am so happy you are on the mend!!! Thank you for being so fun. Thank you for making us smile a bit everyday….
We all love you!!!!
So hard to pick, but Birthday cards are probably my favorite. But, sympathy cards are a close second because you are sending them to comfort someone at a very difficult time of life. The depth of meaning touches both the sender as well as the receiver.
I love making birthday cards! We have so many fun and different stamp sets to choose from.
Birthday cards are my favorite to make. The fun part is picking stamps to personalize each card to the recipient…..funny, silly, loving, etc …. to match their personalities.
Any type of Gate Fold card is my absolute FAVE.
Hope you are continuing to heal. When do you get your cast off?
Blessings!
Mine is almost always personalized cards for that special someone, but to send out is usually a “Just for You” card. I SO enjoy each minute of my time in my craft room…woot, woot! Happy dance bomb here!
I tend to make more thank you cards than any other type, but I love making birthday cards also.
Fa-la-la it is Christmas and winter themed cards for me! I had to add the winter because sometimes I am a bit late with the Christmas so they turn into a snowflake or snowman theme and thus I can write a nice note with them after the holidays. I am not necessarily lazy – I just like to sometimes customize a card to the recipient – ONE CARD DOES NOT FIT ALL in my book!
I need to make up several of one kind of birthday ones as I seem to think I need to reinvent the wheel, I mean card, and then I am late in mailing them. Geez, one would think I would learn!
Susan you blog is always a bit of sunshine in my mailbox! Just because cards are a favorite of mine. That card that has no reason other than to share a bit of joy with someone. Glad that your recovery is progressing rapidly.
I would have to say Birthday cards. We have a large family and I also give little packets of them as gifts so my friends always have some on hand.
I like to make Thanksgiving cards. It’s my second favorite holiday. With all the word die cuts SU has now, the creative spirit is a lot more fun and the latest In Colors are so appropriate. I used so much Hello Honey and Blackberry Bliss that I had to order more! Pretty, pretty…Nancy B
I have to agree with the thinking of you, because you get to brighten someone’s day for no reason. Glad to see you on the mend, take care of yourself.
I like to make Thank You cards, especially when I can incorporate something that reminds me of the gift or occasion I received. I too am so glad you are feeling better. I had missed your “witty stories”.
I like those “just because” cards. They can cover holidays, illness, sympathy, birthdays and those just because days which we all have!
I love to make whimsical thank you cards for all the sweet and thoughtful things my preschool students and their families make or do for me.
I make the most birthday cards, but I love the challenge of a baby card. It’s such a happy time for most families and thinking of the little one who has just arrived makes the creative part so much fun.
I love making all kinds of cards, but I think I make more birthday card.
I would have to say thinking of you and birthday cards. I like the versatility of thinking of you cards. but I always seem to need a birthday card. so glad you’re on the mend Susan. We love having you back!
Hi Susan,
I enjoy the challenge of holiday cards. It takes time and thought to create a card that is unique but can still be duplicated without a huge effort in fairly large numbers. It gives me a real sense of accomplishment.
I follow your blog daily and feel as if I know you even though we have not met. Thank you for your spirit and spunk.
Linda
Thinking of You is my favorite because I can send it for a variety of reasons. I usually leave the insides blank until I send them so that I can make it more specific to the occasion.
My favorite are blank cards because they can be used for anything. I make others but that’s what I’ve been doing lately.
Thanks again for the chance to win.
My favorite card to make is “thinking of you”.
I find I can use any theme and colors.
A thinking of you card is very versatile card as it can be for illness, get well, birthday or just thinking of you.
I make and send mostly birthday cards, but lately have been sending encouragement cards to ailing friends.
I find a thinking of you card is my favorite card to make.
I can use any color combination or theme.
It is a very versatile card to make as can be used for thank you , get well, sympathy, birthday , or just thinking of you.
I am the queen of Birthday cards. I work in a school and I make a card for every faculty and staff member…even the summer birthdays.
I love making Birthday and Thinking of You cards
I love Christmas cards. I love making them, sending them and receiving them. Thanks for the chance to win!
Birthday and Christmas cards are what I make the most of.
My favorite cards to make are birthday cards. I love to make it to fit the persons life style whether it’s camping, wine, office, homemaker, etc. It’s so fun trying to think of something to fit their personality.
I’m so happy you are getting better. You sound so much chipper again.
I love making birthday cards. They are just so bright and cheery and are for celebrating the life of someone you love!
I like to make thank you/thinking of you cards. So glad you are feeling better.
My favorite card to make is birthday cards! They are always cheerful and sharing happy thoughts with those you love and care about. It’s also the card we send most, so we get to make lots of them! Great fun!
I most enjoy making birthday cards! I send a lot of these, and the recipients really love the home-made touch!
I like making Birthday cards the most. I try to personalize them to fit perfectly to the person receiving it. Wedding cards are my second favorite followed by baby cards.
I like to make cards that could be used for multiple reasons. Many times I will make a card and leave the sentiment blank. Then when the occasion presents itself, I have a card and only need to stamp the thought on it. Yippeeee, cards for all occasions!
My favourite card is a Thank You card because I can give them away when somebody has been nice to me. They never expect a card! Glad you are back
Right at this moment, I’m into making birthday cards-in-a-box. I posted one I made on FB and got orders for 4 more!
I love thank you cards–I need more birthday, but I love Thank yous!
Thinking of you would get my vote. Three little words that mean so much. It can be used for almost any reason.
My favorite card to make is Thanksgiving – then, ‘just because’
I am at Leadership in Orlando, just packing for a Sun AM flight. This has been my first event and met so many great folks!
So happy you feel up to posting and that I can visit with you on your blog again!
My fav is just a miscellaneous card that can be used for almost any occasion. I really LOVE to make any card.
Hi Susan! Thinking of you are my favorites to make because I’m usually sending that style for a special reason, pick-me-up, you’re in my heart, etc. I pour my heart and soul into making cards and sometimes, the rush of a birthday sneaking up on me, the holidays, and even the guilt of needing to get out my thank you’s make the thinking of you rise to the top because I’m slowing down and creating that special card for a special person. Hope your on the mend and bright sunny days are looking your way!!
I enjoy making encouragement cards. Everyone needs a pick me up and it’s best when they least expect it. Glad to know you are feeling better and thanks for the chance to win some blog candy.
My favorite card to make is baby cards. They always make me smile as I make them, thinking of new bundles of joy arriving to waiting parents!
Get well seems to be the most I make lately
I put more time and personalization into birthday cards and tend to make them “flashier” than any others. I make more cards in a box, cascade cards, shaker cards or such to make birthdays more memorable, even though my preferred style is more clean and simple.
I love making “new baby” cards and birthday. Heck…..I like making any card!!
I love to make Valentine cards, all those hearts, sweet sayings, red, pink, and white paper and even this year Crisp Cantaloupe and black! Then, of course, Birthdays are a favorite! It’s always a happy time!
I love to make Valentine cards! All those hearts, sweet sayings, red, white, pink, paper and even this year black and Crisp Cantaloupe! Thanks to the Stacked with Love DSP! And of course, I love to make Birthday cards! It’s always a happy time!
I guess I will say birthday, but it really depends on the person
I especially enjoy making birthday cards. I can personalize them for the recipient and they are always “happy” cards.
I love most to make seasonal or holiday cards. If pushed, I would have to say valentines. It takes me back to when I was a girl and we would buy books of valentines with red flocking on them. You would punch out the valentines and then cut out the envelopes and glue them together. My dad would help me to decorate a shoebox and make it into a valentine box to take to school. I always loved it!
My favorite to make is Holiday … especially Christmas.. there are always so many amazing stamps, paper, ink, embellishments and tools to work with and projects to case… so many talented people…
I love to make birthday cards! Christmas comes in a close second. Wait no, thinking of you. Wait…. I love making all cards! Sending well wishes!
My favourite is Christmas cards although I think that some of at is that by its nature, it limits the choice of what to use. Sometimes I feel that there are so many colours and stamps and paper that it’s a bit overwhelming.
My favorite cards to make are Thank You cards. You don’t need to match a theme or anything and can make whatever you want for a design. I love them!
I love making thank you cards. I also love tailoring my cards to the person. (colors they like, etc) Recently I made a ‘card in a box’ for a friends granddaughter who loves penguins. Wish I could have been there to see her face when the penguins ‘popped out’. I was told she loved it and carried it around all day ! Happy healing Susan !
I love to make Thank You cards. I see so many opportunities to send them that I need at least a couple every week.
Hi Susan, I truly make tons of blank cards then when needed I apply an appropriate stamp, embellishment or whatever I want to complete my card. Hope you are feeling much better!
My favorite card would be Thinking of You because of the way you can personalize it to match the person you are making it for.
Glad to see you are feeling better.
Dear Susan, I love to make birthday cards, I love to make them special for the person who is receiving the birthday cards. I also love to make Thinking of You cards. It is so nice to be able to send out a Thinking Of You card to let that person know they were thought about today. I love to make someone smile with my cards. I feel so blessed that God allowed me this wonderful hobby to make cards to make someone smile. Hope you continue to get better each day. You are in my prayers. Happy stamping, Ellen Hinds
I love to make birthday cards, they can be decorated in anyway (not just cakes and balloons) and who doesn’t love to get a nice card for their birthday. It’s like getting a little celebrtion in the mail.
I think it is birthday. I make so many of them. 🙂
Birthday and Anniversary are made most often by me and are my favorites!!
Just Because cards to brighten someone day for no reason, other than I was thinking of them. Glad you are doing better.
I really like making card sets…maybe 4 or 8 of the same card but in different colors or with a different purpose/sentiment that you can put together in a little envelope or box to give as a gift.
I like Birthday & thank you cards as well. People don’t send out thank you cards or notes like in the past. Glad you are feeling better & back to stamping, love seeing your cards!
I would have to say my “Thinking of You” cards are my favorite to give and to receive. It makes me feel special that someone took a minute to let me know I’m on their mind.
Wedding cards or baby cards are my favorite…they celebrate such happy times in a person’s life.
