Good Morning and bring on the weekend! We are to have incredible weather tomorrow and I am super excited as John is excited to be home on a weekend and we have high hopes of getting some good old fashion Spring Cleaning outside in the beautiful weather!
Hang on tight as this is going to be a post that you want to read…and perhaps re-read and then get your catalogs out and GO TO TOWN as YOU could win some super fun BLOG CANDY!
Next Tuesday, April 21st, Stampin' Up! will be unveiling the "retired list" Even though this might be a sad time for many of us…it will be a day of bargains and trust me – you need to act quick as people are quick… I do not know of anyone that doesn't like a great shopping spree!
Please email me and put in the subject line, BLOG CANDY and I will read your answers and then on Thursday (the 23rd) I will announce the winners (it will take me some time to go through them) and (2) of you will win each a $25.00 shopping spree from me! Here you go – (if there are ties, I will use random.org to pick the winners)
- Email me 10 stamp sets that you project to be on the retired list. (Pull out both the BIG Catalog and the Occasions Catalog) and go to town! (It will be interesting to see how many get it right)
- Email me the total number of stamp sets that you think are going to be retired. (this will be sooo interesting to see what you think)
I am as excited/anxious as you are and you bet on Tuesday morning I will be having lots of coffee reading and "taking it all in" once the list is unveiled.
Also – All orders placed with me on Tuesday the 21st and Wednesday the 22nd (I know it's overwhelming so I am giving you 2 days) you will earn DOUBLE PAW PRINTS!!!!
Earning DOUBLE Paw Prints for these 2 days is great! At the beginning of the year I started to offer a rewards program for those good old faithfuls that support my Stampin' Up! fun – please click here to see the parameters of the rewards program!
Here is the tracking sheet to help you see where you are on the trail to a FREE stamp set! Please feel free to email me if you want me to help you calculate where you are on this trail of fun!
To be in the "running for the shopping sprees" you need to email me your guesses by Monday, April 20th by 9 p.m. (eastern time) to be fair…
Now to the "fashion show" of beauties…these cards are the ones that were emailed to me for the Monday challenge…
Here is from the random winner – (please know that you are all winners in my eyes)
When I saw Joan's card…an instant smile was on my face as I adore the boldness of the stripes and the colors are right up my alley! What a great card maker – look at her clean and crisp lines…just a great card all the way around. That star is the icing on the cake!
WOW…Sue nailed it all the way around and I have to share with you the scoop on this card –
"I decided to use these colors because I make cards for an organization called 'Operation Write Home'. The organization sends these cards overseas for our servicemen. We also make what they call 'Any Hero' cards, showing our appreciation and thanking them for their service. This card will be used for that purpose."
Is this wonderful or what! It reconfirms why I do what I do…thank you Sue for your talent and time to our service men and women!
Adorable!!! Mary Ann made this for a friends twins 1st birthday…this font stamp set, Sassy Salutations – a fun and festive stamp set. Mary Ann is our favorite "SHEEP CREATOR" and you can see that she makes adorable "BEARS"
Sharon's card makes me smile for many reasons…I ADORE pinks…and I also adore that Sharon and her sister are always up for a challenge…they are "die-hards" …always!
Karen is Sharon's sister…do you agree with me now….a very talented person and WOWZERS – this card can be used for anyone – ADORE the scored lines on the sides – makes me smile!!!
Robyn is also a wonderful and consistent card maker and this is why she was inspired to make this card – "I have a friend traveling to Bali. Wanted to wish her a safe trip." Envelope fun = an instant smile!
I can see your smile…this is just the cutest! Those puffy clouds and sun are so darn cute! Seeing a lined envelope is just so special to me – nothing like a beautiful envelope! Great job!
Super-de-duper! You know that polka dots make me happy and make me smile! Rosanne is a talented card-maker and I am super proud to have her on my team! She recently started a blog, www.heartfeltstamping.com – please go and check it out and you will agree that her work is fun & clean!
O.k. – you know what 1st came to my mind when I saw this beauty was…WHY DIDN'T I THINK OF THIS! Great card….very fun and it still gives you a bright and cheery feel with the white popping in!
This a great group of cards and I am proud to share them with you! Please pop back tomorrow as I have a super 2 day weekly showcase of fun. Saturday is a Show & Tell and Sunday is a stepped up version – trust me, you'll love them!
Thanks for reading so much…I know that you are going to love the chance to win a shopping spree…Until tomorrow!

AMAZING talent – These are all truly over-the-top!
Wonderful set of cards!!
Such a bunch of fun cards! I have got to take lessons in “clean and simple!” Can I come spend a few days at your house and learn at your knee? All these great cards show so much talent!
Have a good spring cleaning!
Cyberhugs,
From France,
Still
I agree…I agree. I always think it is so much fun to see everyones work! So glad you liked them!
One right after the other….talent of the stars! (heck – maybe we could start a show….Stampers of the Stars!
Oh Bridget – you are a FABULOUS stamper!!! I would adore for you to come for several days but what would happen is…we would never sleep as we would be 2 stamping fools….
and loving each and every minute together!
Congrats to Joan! All the cards are awesome….such talent and passion! I loved Sue’s card and the purpose of it! My son who was a Marine, served two tours in Iraq and even though he received packages from us, he and all the other Marines felt so good when they received “anonymous” cards, packages knowing their country supported them! God bless America and our servicemen and servicewomen!
All of the cards are fantastic! Thanks for featuring them all. I really love your challenges and I hope you keep them up! Thanks for being an amazing teacher! Have a great weekend.
Beautiful cards!! Thanks for sharing!
All these cards are beautiful. Those little teddy bears really stole my heart – can’t wait to case them! Thanks for all the great ideas – and Susan, if you decide to have Bridget come all the way from France, I will definitely drive down from NJ to join you!
What wonderful cards and talent! As a beginner stamper and card maker, I get so excited to see all the great talent. I hope to someday be as talented! Thanks to everyone who shared their inspiration.
Thank you to all the talented card makers that shared their ideas!
What a super line-up of cards. I, too, especially love those little bears. It is so much fun seeing such different interpretations of a sketch. Sharon G., I’m in Southeastern PA so we could carpool!
Very inspirational! Clean and simple is by far my favorite style, kudos to all these talented folks!! Lou
Thanks for putting all this together. It was great fun seeing so many clever projects. I marvel at how we can be brought together with your support, and through technology enjoy all these ideas. You are so sweet to keep us informed and inspired. Enjoy your weekend!
Oh these are all so great! AND look at these envelopes! I love seeing what everyone came up with. Maybe we need to do a swap of retiring sets? Just throwing that out there!
So many fabulous cards, they are ALL fantastic. I couldn’t pick a favorite if I tried.
Great cards! What fun to see the different sizes.
Also, what good pictures of the cards. And yours are always so clear and well-lit. Maybe you could do a primer on how to make good pictures of our cards!
Once again Susan you brought us together for “show’n tell. It’s all about the “care to share” and that’s what makes this so much fun. Thanks again and everybody’s cards turned out great! Thank YOU for believing in us too!
