Confession time again…I am having a super hard time focusing on stamping as I am like a little kid at Christmas on Christmas Eve just dreaming…imagining…what the NEW catalog has to offer!
One of the perks of being a Stampin Up! Demonstrator is that we can preview the new catalog early….and then pre-order new products early and then tease you with samples until the new catalog is unveiled online in June!
Well…the time that SUD can view it online is tomorrow…and I have CLEARED my schedule (which I know is totally silly) but what can I say – I love new goodies and I love Stampin' Up!
No card today but a chance for you to win some BLOG CANDY from me…just leave me a comment on what you want to see most in the new catalog and the random winner will win a set of Paper Swatches that I make personally of the NEW CATALOG PAPER offerings!!!
I WILL do a paper and ribbon share with the new catalog and we all know how wonderful it is to have a sample of all of the NEW paper in handy swatches.
I thought having a broad topic like "What do you want to see most" will really drum up some great discussion!
I think that it is very evident that we all adore Stampin' Up! and I know that you will enjoy receiving swatches of all of the new DSP. (please know that I will be send them to you once the new catalog is unveiled to all)
(I couldn't resist – I love the original Willy Wonka)
I will pick the winner using random.org and let you know on Friday who won - so please leave me a comment (today and tomorrow – this way you will have (2) chances) letting me know what you want to see….if it is a certain stamp set…a certain framelit…a certain new tool etc….let's just chat away!
This is a win-win for all of us…we can get some great conversation going and hear what what makes us tick!
Personally I am hoping for more large stamps (sentiments) that really make a huge impact…(see tomorrows post) and also more script framelits…new punches and yummy-yummy new In Colors that will heal my wounds of losing Strawberry Slush!
Time for Monday's challenge winner…..drumroll…drumroll…..
Rosanne Mulhern….woot-woot to you and on Friday you will see the parade and trust me, her card is super cute! Please know that I do a random pick and I do appreciate all that participate. One thing that was a comment heard many times…it was hard to do this challenge!
You all are the best….and remember, being a hobby demonstrator is a win-win….why not take a test drive and you too can see the new catalog tomorrow….please feel free to email me if you want more details of the fun!

I would love to see more of the script framelits as well, a great anchor stamp, and an awesome set of beach-themed stamps. Lastly, I wish for more stamps with a masculine theme to make it a tad easier to make great cards for the guys!
I would love to see stampin spots….I loved how they offered this before and in paper pumpkin currently. It is nice to be able to get a whole set of a color family for those that don’t stamp as often. Hope the replacement for the sticky strip is equivalent…I LOVE that red tape.
I love the franelits with coordinating stamps and embossing folders. Always looking for word stamps for all different occassions. Looking forward to seeing new items in the catslog.
I would love some more stamps with full sentiments for the inside of cards. Masculine themes would be wonderful as well. I can’t wait to see the new colors in paper and ink.
I would love to see a beach/seashore stamp set with matching framelits and an embossing folder with waves maybe! These could be used for cards or scrapbooking!
New colors! New papers! New punches! Old favorites too. Yep I love it all.
I would love to see a new “fishing” set for making masculine cards. And maybe a new doggie set. It’s always fun to look!
I am hoping for a comparable replacement for Lots of Thanks! It is wonderful set full of sentiments that convey many types of thankfulness. I am going to miss it badly, but I will still use it for my personal projects. Plus, Strawberry Slush, Baked Brown Sugar, Coastal Cabana, Crisp Cantalope and Pistachio Pudding are disappearing and that makes me super sad. Such great colors!!
I would love to see dog/cat stamp set and a bee stamp with a punch
I’m disappointed that Strawberry Slush is being discontinued so hope
SU will come out with a new color close to it. I’d like to see a
stamp set/framelits for a Ball style canning jar and other vintage
style items.
Masculine stamps would be nice and some script sentiments, too. Love the punches (especially coordinating ones) so any new or bring back some old like the stocking punch which was short lived would be great. Have fun viewing the catalog tomorrow (it is also my birthday) and can’t wait to be “teased!”
I’m hoping for beautiful new in colors to replace my beloved coastal cabana and strawberry slush. Also a fabulous new embellishment that I could never think up but the stamping up! people can.
I would love to see a cute Easter egg set with a matching punch or framelits. Also, a fishing and/or golf set for masculine cards.
Ahhh . . . yes . . . my first thought was full stamp-sentiments for the inside of cards. . . masculine is good too . . . and I’ll miss the red sticky strip too. I was shocked until I told myself, they must be coming out with something better. Looking forward to it all.
🙂
I would love to see the MISTI tool.
More sentiments stamps in photopolymer. More Framelits, especially word ones.
I’d love to see more of the script framelits. Those are so cool. And can always use more masculine stamp sets – computer-related stamps for the nerds. I’m so looking forward to seeing the new catalog.
I would like whatever is NEW!! I Have fun going thru the new catalogue and highlighting all the new items I want!!
It’s hard to narrow it down to just one thing…I’m like you and feel like a kid at Christmas. I think I’m most excited to see the sentiment stamps but the new Project Life card sets are a close second. I’ve recently started using PL and it’s a lot of fun! I’ve never been a “traditional” scrapbooker and I love this new approach because it’s not as overwhelming.
An Independence Day stamp would be great! I like to make little treats for our get together with friends and family!
I’m looking forward to the replacement for the backgrounds DSP. Due to you, I always do something to my envelopes, often lining with this DSP. It will be fun to get new patterns.
I would love to see more punches, masculine stamps and new sayings for the inside of cards. Looking forward to seeing all that is new in the new catalogue.
New colors…oh my! I am as excited as a child in a candy store!
Well, I would love to see more stamp sets with images like “In This Together”, those gals are so fabulous to color, also I would love some images with Patriotic themes, maybe flags or a beautiful Bold Eagle. I’m partial to beautiful flower images like Corner Garden and the lovely Cherry Tree branch in “Indescribable Gift”. I also love the 3 way stamping sets, it’s so sad that “Stippled Blossoms”
is leaving, bring more sets like that.
Would love more baby, kids and teen stamps too.
Framelits and die cuts would be great. Maybe even some new punches too…doesn’t hurt to wish!
I would love for one of the new In Colors to be a Lime Green. (NOT Neon!)
I wish someone could invent the “ink eraser” to use on the edge of rubber to eliminate “halos”.
I’m also hoping to see the Paper Piercing templates replaced – I love them!
I’d like to see the Background DSP offered in the 4 1/2 x 6 1/2″ paper stack. Then it’d be more affordable to have all of the color families.
I would love to see more masculine sets, seems like I have a harder time coming up with cute masculine cards. Would love some new birthday sentiments too.
How about some absolutely, positively gorgeous new dsp prints. I love pretty patterned paper!
I love the framelits so would like to see more of them and I still miss pretty in pink so a new pink would be nice in cardstock and ink!!
I’m hoping for more word framelits as well as more sentiments suitable for the inside of the card. Can’t wait to also see the new In Colors!
More masculine stamps, fishing, hunting, BIG trucks more modern looking, etc all my men are into that in our rural area. Inside sentiments, more of the different holidays stamps, like Fourth of July, Memorial Day, school, teacher, to many wishes for me.
I would love to see some new Birthday Sentiments and masculine stamps. Also some great in colour family DSP
I can’t wait to see the new colors, framelits, and punches. I hope we get a nice purple color.
Certainly more photopolymer stamps but I’d like to see a die for Stippled Blossom or new rose stamp bundle [stamp & die set]. What do YOU want to see most? ALSO, some very cool stencils and t
More framelits with matching stamps would be awesome.
I am always so excited to see the new In Colors! If the pattern is consistent, this year should be subtle pastels. Can’t wait!!!
I love stamps with coordinating framelets. Also a bright, happy green. They discontinued Glorious Green and Gumball Green…we need a green!!!!
I am excited to see what the new In-Colors will be, and would like to see more “word” framelits.
I’d like to see some scalloped circle thinlits and some full size sentiments. Oh, everything will be exciting!
Hi Susan,
I can’t wait to see the new ribbons. Since all of the 14/16 in color ribbons are on the retired list, they must be introducing something special!
Love the punches and hoping for additional masculine sets. looking forward to the new catalog. Your blog is so inspiring!
Can’t wait to see the new in colors and ribbon.
I love bundles………..can’t wait to see what new!
Oh–how I will miss the in-colors! Something soft and pretty to replace them, please!
Too many things to wish for! A lovely new green, stamp sets for the inside of cards, a new fun punch, and some more washi designs!
More Punches! I love framelits but so much easier to just grab a punch than a framelit for the smaller items. A lighthouse, beach themes and some better pink cardstock. But I must say I love everything StampinUp!!!
I hope there are more 2 and 3-step stamps. I have loved pretending I’m artistic with the use of these gorgeous stamps. Thanks as always for your blog and your generous blog-candy offers.
More bundles please! Such fun to have framelits and stamps that match, and at a discount!
I want to see more sentiments that are not just the same words in a different font. I love having the variety of fonts, but we really need some more sentiments. I think they have made a good start with that over the last year or so and I want to see even more.
I would like to see more sentiments for the inside of cards. And more cat and dog stamps.
I would love to see Stampin’ Up offer a die cut or a mask like the one they included in the Artisan Embellishment Kit. Also like to see more die cut words.
I really want to see a new shells/beach set. Love By the Tide, so think some shells would work well with that. And of course, the new IN colors!!!!! So going to miss coastal cabana, luckily we still have Bermuda bay.
I am hoping for more masculine sets for hunting, military, and maybe even a Boy Scout set as my son is within 5 months of being an Eagle Scout.
I hope there will be more stamp sets available in polymer. I like being able to see where I’m stamping. Some framelets that cut your paper and texturize the borders at the same time would be a nice addition too. Ovals, rectangles, and circles of different sizes with their edges delicately decorated is a great look I’ve seen used lately.
I’m looking for new sentiments. I have tons of great ones, but I love to get new ones!
I would really like to see more masculine stamps, along with kid stamps that can be used for a wide variety of ages. Would also love to see more dies like fences, windows, sleds, etc. and I would really like to see our 5/8 inch satin ribbon come back.
I love seeing the new colors…and some new birthday greetings for inside the cards.
I would love to have a choo-choo style of train, a hamster, and a sand dollar stamp. I’m looking forward to seeing what they will be replacing some of the retiring stamps with.
Cyberhugs!
I’d love to see more word framelits. I’d also love to see some really nice sentiments for the inside of cards.
I would like more sentiments, inside and out. Sentiments that have great looking fonts and simple to understand sayings that could be used for anyone. Janet
There are SOOO many things on my “wish list” for the new catalog! Bundles featuring seaside and masculine themes and a pretty pink to replace Strawberry Slush. I would like more word thinlits and punches, punches, punches. Too many things to list but I know SU will come through with some amazing new products. Can’t wait!!!
Oh my goodness….I don’t know!! SU always has the best items. I do like the bundles:))
Im hoping for some interesting textured embossing folders, masculine stamp sets with ships, light houses, new framelit shapes.
I’d love to see SU go back to rub-ons, but a little different than before. I’d like to see smaller sheets with one type of sentiment per sheet (birthday, get well, thanks, etc.). I miss them, as I have used up all that I had. They are just the right size for small spaces on card fronts. Hope SU is listening!
Some wonderful new In Colors and some really cute stamps for childrens birthday cards, both feminine and masculine
I was so excited that there were lots of bundles last year so I want to see more. Anytime there’s a savings, I’m onboard~
So many people have such great ideas…I was reading and thinking I want that also!!! I’m looking forward to new colors (and hoping to see the new pantone color Masala in there). More masculine stamps are always needed and I love the nature themes that are not flowers – bees, sea shells, ferns, etc.
I love the combination of fonts that they have been putting together lately so more would be fun. Also with so many punches going they must be coming out with some exciting new ones. So fun to anticipate!
Nature sets would be nice with animals that could also be used for manly cards.
It’s sure fun reading everyone’s wishes Susan! I’d have to say that I’m wishing for verses for the inside of our cards or more of the sentiments that begin on the outside and end on the inside like the Petite Pairs set that I’m going to miss (but will still use). I’d love to see another good dog set, car set, and teen set. I can’t wait to see the new In Colors, that is always fun! I will miss Strawberry Slush too, such a great medium pink. And Baked Brown Sugar was a wonderful soft brown shade as well. Enjoy your “day at the office” tomorrow!!! ; )
I would like to see some hunting & fishing stamps. Also individual stamps instead of whole sets. Can’t wait for the new colors.
It would be fun to have some stitched framelits in various shapes. These dies are on many Stampin’up demos blogs. Can’t wait to see the new incolors!! Love the original Wonka movie too.
Framelits and die cuts are my choice. Punches too. Oh and the stamp sets to go with them.
I would love to see more themed stamps.
Thanks for the chance to win!!
I would like to be able to order a multi-pack of my favorite color choices, not just each color family pack. And I want them to bring back Pretty in Pink! 🙂
I would really like a set of rectangular framelits sized to fit a 4 x 5 1/4″ mat, preferably with “stitching” around the edges. Is that too much to ask? There are several of them out there…c’mon SU!!
Anything new is exciting, but I would love to see some more items, whether it be stamps, punches, sentiments, etc…that are masculine and make it easier to match up and create a man’s card quickly.
Hope that there will be another great DSP stack for every color family. Also more stamp and punch sets.
Thanks so much, Susan. This challenge was challenging! I am glad others thought so, too.
I would like to see more stamps to purchase individually. So very often, I want only one or two of the stamps in a set. If I purchased the set an number of the stamps would go unused.
I would love to see a new shade of pink!
Ohh, how to pick just one? I love new tools, accessories, DSP stacks and gift/packaging products. I love framelits with a tight border for layering and punches for mass producing shapes. I always love a good sentiment stamp set and have had my eye out for a good theme sets related to golf, kids sports (boys and girls) and musical/guitar.
Hoping the new “in colors” include a rich pink and a teal. Hoping for some “edgier, funkier” single stamps or sets. Always love combo specials: stamps with punches or framelits.
I am looking forwrd to seeing what will replace Daydream Medallions. The framelits were kept but the stamp set was retired so something new to fit those would be AWESOME!! Also, I would love to see more masculine stamps like Guy Greetings. I can never have enough of those because masculine cards are the hardest for me to make.
I wish things were cheaper! But, that won’t happen. I would love more stamps to go with punches we already have. I think that stocking and the mitten punch needs stamps – these were so short lived! What are we going to do without the strawberry slush, pistachio pudding and baked brown sugar – we need something comparable! More polka dot papers in the stacks – maybe a whole stack of just that? Cheaper alphabet stamps with cool fonts. New dog and cat stamps. More from the group type of stamps. I would like to see more single ones also! Maybe bring back some oldies but goodies? I sure wish for a lot! Card and envelope sets in more colors esp vanilla!
I would love to see more individual stamps. So many times I want only one or two stamps in a set. I use those and the others sit, unused. More verses for the inside of cards. Anything SU has in the new catalog I’m sure will be awesome! It always is.

I would like to see more masculine stamps. Also stitched frames. Can’t wait for the new catalog!
Love framelets–but like others’ I’m looking forward to more masculine and teen masculine ideas.
Card stock in purple and blue that you would fine in a box of crayons.
I love all sentiment stamp sets. Stamp sets with pieces I can stamp and cut out for scrapbooking. I would really, really love to seen embossing folders that are 6 x 12 so I could use them in my scrapbooks without piecing together 🙂 I never see 12 inch embossing folders. Would love some new designer series paper packs with new designs..the larger packs are my favorite.
Ribbon, ribbon, and more ribbon. Did I say ribbon yet?
