Today is a color challenge with the Pals Paper Art gang and I hope you come "out to play" – it is a color challenge and I must admit….I was a bit stumped as I do not do a bunch with pastel colors but I was determined NOT to use a flower!
Please feel free to email me is you have any questions but I do encourage you to go to the Pals Paper Art Site and not only see what the other design team artist came up with….but to give it a try yourself!
Today's card is from the Perfect Blend Stamp set…and not only is this a fun set…it is a very affordable set too! The kraft paper worked perfectly with the coffee cups! (please feel free to use Crumb Cake or Baked Brown Sugar if you do not have the Kraft Paper)
I stamped the Image twice, on the Kraft Paper I used Soft Suede and then I stamped it again in Crisp Cantaloupe on Very Vanilla and snipped out just the sentiment!
True I did some "fussy cutting" but it was a cinch as the lines are very "forgiving" so you can just go to town! The one thing that I did differently was I popped up the cup to the left with one layer of dimensionals and then the one to the right I "doubled it up" – I love the look!
I always find that the Linen Thread always gives such great texture and fun….with the help of a glue dot – you can not go wrong!
You all know how I feel about the DSP in the stacks – in my opinion, a must have for every color collection as I think it takes the guess work when you are trying to do a fast, clean and simple card!
I did make a Pistachio Pudding Envelope with the envelope Punch Board but "Silly Susan" – I forgot to snap a picture! It truly makes a great card!
I had something "personal" to share with you but I must say….I ran out of steam…I am shocked that Physical Therapy can be so draining…..I feel silly saying that but I am pooped – you'll just have to pop back tomorrow!
Stampin' Up! has something special going on tomorrow as well – they gave us a teaser saying to pop back on the 3rd….so I'll be there and I cannot wait to share it with you!
Let's all have a GREAT day….see you tomorrow…It is "ROUND #2" for SPRING CLEANING tips and tricks – last week was fun, I thought of more things to share!

You may have been stumped, Susan, however what you created is delightful! The fussy cutting of these coffee cups is definitely worth it! Such a fun card!
Really cute, Susan! A great card to give to a friend with the double coffee cups representing the two of you! I love your added linen thread to make this feminine! Way to go~
Cute card! You always have winning cards!!! I look forward to your blog every day.
Rest up! Don’t overdo it! It takes time to get back to full strength after a broken anything, and ankles are very busy joints!
Looking forward to tomorrow’s new news!
Cyberhugs!
This card is so fun! It is a fresh idea on the coffee stamp and goes so well with the colors. I forgot about this stamp so this weekend I am pulling it out and making a few cards for upcoming birthdays. Thanks for your inspiration, Susan and hope you feel better.
Your card turned out “perfect”ly, Susan! Using the coffee cups was a great idea. Take care!
Your card is almost like a breath of spring or fresh brewed coffee! Flowers and butterflies are on a zillion cards right now so this was a fun, fresh idea! The colors look so well grounded together. The way you popped up the cup on the right higher really makes the difference. The linen threads really perked it up too. I looked at the other cards in the Pals site and I think your card is brewing for first place! Can you tell I like it a latte?
You inspired me to have my first cup this a.m. Wonderful snipped coffee cups and touch of adorable twine!
Those linen thread bows are adorable on the cups, Susan!
I love this stamp set, Susan and it looks great as a duo. Love how you stamped the sentiment on the wrap, great idea!
I really like the way you created the cups. Sometimes I see others that are just too fussy to spend my time on. I do love this set. Reminds me that I need to use it.
Great card, Susan. The fussy cutting is well worth the effort!
I look forward to having a cup of joe together one day. Love the card especially the linen ribbon wisps.
Love how you used kraft for the cups – and with a wonderful touch of twine! Super sweet card!
