Well…well…well – all I can say is YEP – Stampin Up' did it –
The new catalog is A M A Z I N G and I had to be a good girl and not peek at it until last night (as I was hoping to do when it was 1st unveiled) but I had a cloud over my head that I need to finish before I could DIVE IN and see the goodies!
The personal torture I put to myself was so worth it – the catalog is fun, fresh and you are going to LOVE it! I cannot wait to share with you the FUN that is inside – my head is spinning with ideas and I cannot wait to get my "paws" on these goodies and create for you!
I ADORED the comments and YEP – some of my wishes came true and some did not – but that's ok…that's why we wish – Did we get everything on or wish list with Santa – NO….and we worked it out! You are going to love it but here is the winner!
JAN ELMORE
her wish is going to come true as I will be sending her a complete set of Paper Swatches of all of the new DSP = (this is perfect that she commented about DSP)
Once I am able, I will be doing a full offering of Paper Swatches, 1/2 sheets of DSP , Ribbon and embellishments as I think that this is the best way to get a "taste" of new goodies without breaking the bank!
Now to the Parade of cards from Monday – I am so sorry that I did not make my "personal" comments about each of them – I need to "hit the hay" but please know – I am soooooo proud of each of you! I say WOOT-WOOT! Enjoy…..lots of talent and please feel free to leave them a comment – I know that they would appreciate it!
The challenge was to use one color of paper and one color of ink – very clever that some of you "stamped off" to give the look a twist. I received many comments that found this to be a tough one – I am so proud of you for reaching! Way to go!
What a GREAT parade! Thank YOU for all of your talent and time to do something that DOES make a difference!
Please pop back as tomorrow starts my FUN 2 day challenge where I do a simple card and then the next day – I step it up a bit! Thanks for your time and I am excited to share with you new goodies soon!
Beautiful cards and yes, the new catalog rocks!
Nice cards! I do like how mine came out. I ended up putting my one color of ink straight onto a scrap of my one color of paper for the dark little accent flowers. It did work out! I’m glad I had the marker that went with my ink color, because it helped the overall look, too.
Looking forward to the new catalog!
Cyberhugs!
Beautiful cards and great ideas! Can’t wait for the new catalog to make more beautiful cards!
Beautiful cards!
These cards knocked my socks off! I guess I just found out I really favor limited colors and creative use of texture combined with attractive lay outs. These are all my favorite!
I would like to know how to do the “criss cross” that Rosanna
did on her card.
Great cards!
Wow! All of the cards are stunning!! Congrats to yo all!
What a great parade – all the hoopla without the noise! These are all so great! I think I overthought the whole process and therefore was stumped in even how to begin. You bet this group will go in a file for CASEing! Such talent! Congrats to Jan for winning the new DP swatches – what an amazing prize and it fits your comment perfectly! Everyone have a good weekend!
These cards are beautiful! Goes to prove that less is more sometimes. Never would have thought one paper color and one ink color could look this good! Great job everyone! The new catalog is AMAZING 🙂
Congrats, Jan! And, to the card makers, thanks for sharing great ideas!
