Here is another card that I will be making for swaps when I go to convention! WOWZERS…today it has been 1 month since I had my surgery….and a week from today I will be leaving to go to Utah! I have never been there and I am super excited to zoom around
Todays card is very unusual that I am using actually (3) stamp sets….something that I rarely would ever do but to me, the focal stamp set is Wild about Flowers in my eyes. The other 2, Gorgeous Grunge and A Dozen Thoughts (are good old oldies and I think that most of you have them as they are super duper sets)
I know that the title of this post is 1,2,3…..and here you go!
- Stamp the vertical whisper white with Pear Pizazz with the Gorgeous Grunge Stamp. ( I think in hindsight, when I make these for the swap I will stamp off the pear pizazz to make it a bit fainter)
- After using the NEW and MUST HAVE Lots of Labels Framelits with scraps in both white and crushed curry….stamp the beautiful floral image on the white….just love it!
- Again, using your scraps….stamp the sentiment and then flag the ends and then mat it with Pear Pizazz and flag the ends .
The great thing about this stamp set is that the stamps are marked….(stamp #1 floral base with an arrow and then there is another floral one marked #1 so you can have perfect placement – soooo darn easy)!
Also, aren't the sentiments on this stamp set super! We have needed a retirement one and I also love the versatility of the others as well.
This sentiment stamp set is one of the best we have. I was thrilled that it was carried over and this one is one of my favorites as I love the font!
You know me….I love my envelopes! Today the liner is from the Cherry on Top Stack. You might think that this stack is more juvenile or birthday oriented…but there are some great prints like this one.
It's been a while since I have used "old faithful" – the white gel pen…don't you think that this adds a fun touch to this card? Please feel free to leave me a comment and lat me know your thoughts about todays card – would you like this as a swap card?
I am trying to make a variety of cards as it is fun to let people pick "what speaks to them" – This card can be used in so many color combinations and also changing up the sentiment…here comes a totally different and new card!
Have a great day, feel free to email me if you have any questions and I hope to see you tomorrow – it is the Pals Paper Arts Day and it is a sketch and it's a great on…..I hope you will play!

Love this card! Yes Stampin off the grunge will look better more subtle. I’m happy you are feeling better. Take care!
Great job!
Beautiful card and everyone would want this as a swap since it is so versatile! I love your idea on making several different cards and having the person “connect” with the one meant for them! So excited for you and your trip! Can’t wait for you to share your experience.
A lighter touch or stamping off for the background would make the focal image shine brighter. Other than that, yes, I would love to receive this card as a swap. Super clean and to the point! I’m so happy that you are able to go to convention this year. Have a fun time scootin’ around!
I’m late this morning. The fog kept the sun from shinning in my window @ 5:30 a.m. I do feel like half my day is over. Love the colors, the framelits and the sentiment. I’m going to lunch with a friend today and then she is coming over and we are going to work on a SU Kit together.
🙂
Cheerful! I love it. Also wanted to tell you that I used my (your) cardstock color swatch collection yesterday while choosing colors for a card – so convenient to use. And I have just bought a white gel pen ~ thanks, as always, for your daily inspiration!
I do love this Wild About Flowers stamp set. It’s on my Wish List along with those Framelits! Now you’ve convinced me more that I need them!!!You will love Convention – it’s a busy, bustling swarm of activity with more choices of things to do than you can fit on your schedule. Have a wonderful time! Don’t run over anyone with that scooter of yours!! LOL! Can’t wait to hear your stories 🙂
You have another great choice for the convention swap. It will be hard to choose just one! Good for you for showcasing a range of techniques. I love today’s card being all about the stamps, but I am a paper nut and love your use of patterns in other two. Looking forward to hearing about your convention experiences. Have fun.
Again Susan, you do this job so well. I never considered this stamp set but now it will be on my next order. Your card is lovely and I can see so many possibilities for the set. Thank you for pointing this out. Can’t wait for your reports from convention. Have a great day!
Dear Susan, What a beautiful card. I love everything about it. This will make a great swap card. I also like the idea of different swap cards so they can choose which one calls them. You are such a great inspiration. Have fun at Convention. Make sure you bring a horn or a bell to let everyone know you are coming through. (LOL) . Hugs, I can not wait to hear all of your stories. Is it too late to register for convention? I would go just to get this darn card in a swap! This is one of my super favorites! Before I read that you used the grunge set on the background paper I was thinking I would buy a ton of that paper – I love it! So well done and so darn tootin’ pretty as you would say! Of course I have none of these sets but maybe eventually. I may have to try a different flower and devise a similar look somehow…what more can I say than I just love it?
Great swap card and love that sentiment`s font ! My favorite from that set . Excited about your first convention trip and cannot wait to see pictures !
This is so pretty! I love everything about it!
Another beautiful swap card! I know you are going to have a blast at convention and those who receive your cards will be getting masterpieces! I can’t wait to see a Convention Parade of Beauties when you come back. Please give a little extra lovin’ to Eddie from us!
Beautiful Card! I’ll be watching for you at Convention! This will be my first time attending as well and I’m so excited to be going. Can’t wait to swap with people next week.
Travel Safe.
Beautiful card, Susan. I don’t think you need to change a single thing. (No stamping off necessary!) Thanks for sharing.
I would love to get this card, it’s beautiful! Yes, the white gel pen really makes the whole effect of the card pop. That wow! factor. Congratz on getting to go to Conference. Have fun!
I love this pretty card and all its elements. The white gel pen does add a lot to it. You are so good at using it too. Have great fun at the convention. Looking forward to the new ideas you bring back for us.
Very pretty! I like the Pear Pizzazz the way it is, but, then again, I haven’t seen it the other way.
Cyberhugs!
Oh my! This is so pretty, Susan! I am so excited to hopefully find you in the thousands that will be at convention! I would LOVE to meet you in person! And not just to get this card, but hey, that helps! Seriously, you are such an inspiration to me. I love your style…and well, really do hope we can meet next week. Take care, and I hope you’re feeling better!
