Good Morning and here is to a start of the weekend…woot-woot for so many reasons…first it is the weekend but this is the best part…we are going to be having some WARM WEATHER on the East Coast…a totally welcomed bit of news for me and trust me…I have had one super grumpy pig as Miss Daisy just is not a fan of the cold!
As I shared yesterday…I have some wonderful customers that just love kits…and trust me – I GET IT!
On yesterdays post…I showcased a sentiment from this kit to make yesterdays sweet card and today…it is all about this kit. I truly think that this kit is just breezed over in the annual catalog (page 15) as you all flip right to the stamps and leave the Stampin’ Up! kits to a “thought for the perhaps future” and stampers….let me tell you – this IS a keeper!
After I had a date with this product I am showcasing today…it was a joy and a rewarding feeling to be able to sit down and have all of the products needed in one box and complete a kit with the end result of 20 completed cards plus I have a great photopolymer stamp set that has fun and useful sentiments that will be used for other projects!
Here is a video that Stampin’ Up! did that showcases this products…its a great overview but trust me…this is so straight forward and I love the saying…of Stamp and Stick! – cause’ lets face it – there are times that we just simply do not want to think but we want to craft and create with completed results…that is exactly what this kit will do for you!
I have had this kit sitting in the super cute box that it comes in for some time…and all it was doing was collecting dust. Well….I had someone remind me about this kit as she was ordering one and I thought…I need to put this together myself and that is what I did!
Here are some of the thoughts that I had through the journey in putting it together and I will tell you right off the bat…I am NOT the best in following directions as I am one of those just DIVE IN and DO kinda person….
- I loved the fact that everything that you need is all in one place
- Even though they were supplied in the box, I used my own ink (in the full size) and I prefer my acrylic blocks and also the glue dots that are on the roll – just a personal preference but all of these are supplied in a kit version and heck – we all keep the stampin’ spots!
- I actually enjoyed the fact that the sizes of the cards varied – it was great to have that assortment to grab and go!
- I was happy that the color choices of the designs were so bright and vibrant…a super fun POP with each and every design
- I think the price is extremely fair. $35.00 for the whole kit and the stamp set….a keeper that will get lots of use and the best ….it is a photopolymer!
Below you can see this stamp set. As you recall…I try to “condition” my stamp sets as I go to use them for the 1st time. It is a great habit to get into and then I stamp a full image of the stamp set to store with the stamp. I personally condition my stamps with Black ink and I can hear many of you gasping but I like to see the images…really cuts down the search and rescue on my work space.

Now grab that cup of coffee and get ready for 4 great pictures that showcase each of the cards. I grouped them together as by the size of the cards and one thing that I did not show is….the envelopes – the envelopes are all in a kraft paper and a fun change from white!
I have not jazzed up the envelopes (as I usually do) and I am really not sure if I will as the cards are just so fun and fresh! After all…this is one of the things that people struggle with….time and thinking what to do….and this kit is all about….getting it done – feeling confident!
Enjoy the pictures…they are fun – RIGHT????

I told you…..they are just super cute…Here is another thought – I know that we are the crazed crafters but I also know that we have many friends and family that are not….
- maybe it’s because they feel like they aren’t creative…. (this is crazy as we ALL have a creative gift inside)
- maybe it’s because they don’t have the time…
- maybe it’s because they say…”I don’t need another hobby”…
- maybe it’s because they say – “I’m not going to invest in all of THAT STUFF” ….(I think that they are talking about the STUFF that we have and guess what – I LOVE MY STUFF)
I think you know where I am going with this….and guess what – This kit would be a fabulous and fun time to get together with these kinda people (we all have and know them) and just have fun!
You are just $15.00 away from picking a freebie from the SAB offerings….so I say….no brainer, grab some basics that we use all the time and have a win-win…..20 completed cards that are ready to go when you need one….a great stamp set to use in the future and a FREE Product from Sale-A-Bration….works for me….how about you!
Have a great weekend….be safe, make memories and make someone SMILE!
p.s. – please make sure that you look at the LONG LIST of products that I used to make this post….. (tee-hee-hee)…YEP – that is right….JUST ONE THING!!!!!

Happy “HUMP DAY” I know that this subject line was a bit different but I must say, whenever I look at this Stamp Set, Marquee Messages I think of Las Vegas and all of the old “glitz” from signs!
This is just one fun stamp set! I had a ball making this card as it is fun to stamp the images and paper piece them together to create something really special!
Let’s back up….I try to “teach” you with my posts as I realize that we are all at different levels and you might be saying….what the heck is paper piecing?
Below you will see the stamp set. (super cute) 🙂 If you Stamp the desired images onto whatever color of paper you are going for….just stamp and then cut away….lastly “piece” it back together! I like to use the green glue so I can wiggle them right into place.
This is paper piecing! SUPER EASY yet SUPER REWARDING as when you see the finished project, you are amazed at how it all came together in a jif! I encourage you to take a look at your stamp sets and you will be amazed at how many you have that you could do this technique with!

How about this fun and cheerful DSP!?! It is from the A little Foxy pack and it certainly makes a POP STATEMENT. Just have fun playing around with the paper you have and take the colors from there!
I thought that the Bermuda Bay and the Pool Party complimented one another an because I used Black Ink to do my stamping, I thought that the super thin mat of black would do the trick on the Pool Party rectangle!
I know that it is super hard to see in the photo (but try to click on it to make it larger) and you will see that I score at 1/4″ intervals all the way down the white mat. When you see it in person, it looks super-de-duper!

You know me….a “naked” envelope does not settle well with me. True, it takes a bit more time but I do think that the end result is well worth the extra time. If you cut these 6 x 6 papers into 2″ x 6″ pieces you can get (3) envelopes per sheet of paper. The thin strip is just 1/4″ wide – works like a charm!

At a glance it looks like that card would use a bunch of products but really the stamp set itself holds its own.I think that this is one of the super fun elements about this stamp set…lots going on and lots of fun and unique sentiments. Please pin this picture away for the future and if you need any help with the whole “paper piecing” thing…please email me, I will be happy to help!

Guess what I did yesterday morning? Guess what I am going to do this morning?
I am going to the movies from home – I was able to see a sneak preview of the NEW Holiday Catalog and I was doing the HAPPY DANCE WHEN I SAW the little bit that I did….The bundle that I saw was just the cutest and the best thing – it will work for Fall/Halloween and then for Christmas.
As demonstrators we can pre-order next Tuesday and my fingers are crossed that this little guy will be available! As soon as I can order the new catalogs I will and if you have placed and order with me in the past 6 months, I will mail you a catalog. If you are not currently working with a SUD, I would love to help you, please reach out to me and I will be happy to send a catalog your way.
Enjoy the day…stay cool….please look after those that might need help and remember to keep your animals out of this heat. Speaking of animals, please keep my dear Arnold (the horse ~ well actually he is a boarders horse) but he is my sweet old man (31 years old) …..he has terrible feet and he is so uncomfortable right now. I am soaking his foot in warm water several times a day for an abscess – I hope he can get some relief as he owes this world nothing! Such a sweet boy.

I have a feeling that you might get this song stuck in your head today…..so let's get going and sing….
"You are my sunshine…my only sunshine – you make me happy when skies are gray…"
Now how about this for a super quick card, it clearly is super sweet and fun! This is from the stamp set Over The Rainbow Photopolymer Stamp Set and it is the first time I have used it. I can see many fun cards made with this fun set!

The size of the card today is my "go to" Whisper White Notecard and Envelopes and did you notice that after I did my stamping I ran it through with the super fun Large Polka Dot Embossing Folder? I see that the Texture Boutique Machine is still in the clearance rack – at 50% off…..$14.99 – you can not go wrong!
This card is just so darn simple, you do not need me at all on this one so enjoy the photos! I love that Stampin' Up! is having more "water colored" types of stamps….to me it is just so fun and whimsical!

Because I used the stampin' dimensionals to pop up the stamped layer, I simple placed a small amount of snail on the back to hold the bakers twine and then just added the bow to the front! This to me, is the easiest way to do it!

Make sure that you do all of your stamping before you run it through with an embossing folder…I think this effect works much better with an "open embossing folder" like this one…..it just adds interest!

Now look at this envelope liner – it just has to make you smile….Polka Dots are the INSTANT SMILE MAKER in my eyes! I simply cannot get enpugh of them and these new paper stacks are just amazing!
Remember, I am offering them again in my Holiday Catalog 2015 Product Share in both 1/2 sheets as well as in swatch books.

I just had to leave you with this super sweet picture of my dear Rosie…..she went into Leo's kennel and it is soooo darn funny – she snuggles her way under this blanket and looks like she is in bed!
It is funny that the dogs all want to go in there as it is new to the house! Leo (James' puppy) fits in with the "troops" and even Daisey – I wish I could get a good picture of him but he is just one super happy wiggle worm!

I sure am hoping that the clearance rack has lots of new goodies in there that it will make me smile bigger than this sweet card does! Let's have a great day……and go have fun shopping in your jammies…..I love sharing a cup of coffee with you!
Until tomorrow!

Here is another card that I will be making for swaps when I go to convention! WOWZERS…today it has been 1 month since I had my surgery….and a week from today I will be leaving to go to Utah! I have never been there and I am super excited to zoom around
Todays card is very unusual that I am using actually (3) stamp sets….something that I rarely would ever do but to me, the focal stamp set is Wild about Flowers in my eyes. The other 2, Gorgeous Grunge and A Dozen Thoughts (are good old oldies and I think that most of you have them as they are super duper sets)

I know that the title of this post is 1,2,3…..and here you go!
- Stamp the vertical whisper white with Pear Pizazz with the Gorgeous Grunge Stamp. ( I think in hindsight, when I make these for the swap I will stamp off the pear pizazz to make it a bit fainter)
- After using the NEW and MUST HAVE Lots of Labels Framelits with scraps in both white and crushed curry….stamp the beautiful floral image on the white….just love it!
- Again, using your scraps….stamp the sentiment and then flag the ends and then mat it with Pear Pizazz and flag the ends .

The great thing about this stamp set is that the stamps are marked….(stamp #1 floral base with an arrow and then there is another floral one marked #1 so you can have perfect placement – soooo darn easy)!
Also, aren't the sentiments on this stamp set super! We have needed a retirement one and I also love the versatility of the others as well.

This sentiment stamp set is one of the best we have. I was thrilled that it was carried over and this one is one of my favorites as I love the font!

You know me….I love my envelopes! Today the liner is from the Cherry on Top Stack. You might think that this stack is more juvenile or birthday oriented…but there are some great prints like this one.

It's been a while since I have used "old faithful" – the white gel pen…don't you think that this adds a fun touch to this card? Please feel free to leave me a comment and lat me know your thoughts about todays card – would you like this as a swap card?
I am trying to make a variety of cards as it is fun to let people pick "what speaks to them" – This card can be used in so many color combinations and also changing up the sentiment…here comes a totally different and new card!
Have a great day, feel free to email me if you have any questions and I hope to see you tomorrow – it is the Pals Paper Arts Day and it is a sketch and it's a great on…..I hope you will play!

Good Wednesday to all! Are you curious about the title of today's post? Yesterday when I saw that the Pansy Punch was on the weekly deals I just had to re-do a card that I did before as I loved it before and I love it now! This great news of the weekly deal is 1st base!
Please go to the highlighted post above as you will see how to make punching out these flowers without stress. I am sure that many of you know exactly what I am talking about…I can remember when this stamp set came out I was sooo darn tootin' excited but quickly became frustrated when I could not get them to match up with the punch!

Let's get to 2nd base…this is when I will announce the winner from the Monday Challenge! It truly makes my heart happy that many of you look forward to them and also do them! Today's winner is Joan Thompson and I am not only going to send you a White Gel Pen but I will also send you the card from Monday. I loved that card and ended up making it in several different color combinations.
Once I get the "ok" from Joan, hopefully I will share her card with you on Friday!

On Friday…mark your calendar to stop back as I am not only going to showcase the cards that you all submitted to me on Monday (with your permission) but I am going to get you all "geared up" for a BLOG CANDY that you could win….(I know that you are going to like what I have up my sleeve)
Let's get back to the card….I think that it is just fresh, fun and adorable and it would certainly brighten up anyones day and make them feel super special! Remember to click here to see the original post that I did for all of the specific scoop!

This stamp set that the "smile" is from, So You, is one that I get so many questions about! I think that it is overlooked in the Occasions catalog but I just adore the script fonts. (I hope that in the new catalog they continue to come out with fonts/sentiments like this!
Heat Embossing is still as rewarding as the 1st time I did it. It always makes me feel special and a great tip I can share with you is to have an inexpensive paint brush to "flick" away any excess powder that gets on.

You can see that I continued the theme on the front of the square envelope I made with the Punch Board – (that tool is just amazing) Today's color scheme came from the inspiration from the Flower Pot DSP…I just love that everything matches within the Stampin' Up! family!

Now we need to move to 3rd base….What in the world could 3rd base be? Silly Susan totally forgot to figure up and announce the winner of the "basic bundle" to those of you that placed an order with me last week during the free shipping….(I am sorry – guess I was just having too much fun with Hannah over the weekend)
And the winner is….Kendel Darragh and this is the bundle of basics that she won! I think that we will agree that these items are one that we use all the time! Again, many thanks to all of you that placed an order with me and I think that we all agree that FREE SHIPPING is great! WOOT-WOOT and thank you Kendel for your order!

- a pack of White 8 1/2" X 11 paper
- a bottle of mono Glue
- a pack of Stampin' Dimensionals
- a white gel pen

I sure hope that this card made you SMILE as it makes me smile. Have fun with changing up colors and make sure your garden is in full bloom – what a great way to brighten someones day!
Please feel free to email me if I can be of assistance to you…have a fabulous day – John is SUPER HAPPY that it is the 15th – this has been a particularly hard tax season for him and I am glad it is going to be over!

Happy Tuesday! This was such a fun card to make and wow….it was so darn easy! This is one of those that you look at and say …"WHOA" – this looks like a nightmare to line up but it was easy peasy! The color combination was from the Color Coach, I have not blogged about this gem for a while but I simply flipped to Rich Razzleberry and the rest is history.
This star stamp set is called Bordering Blooms and I bet many of you have flipped right past it in the catalog! I must say I did the 1st go-around, but then when I realized that it was a photopolymer stamp….SOLD! (Remember, at the end of the post, you can click directly on the item and it will go right into your shopping cart!)

One item that I do blog often about and TOTALLY believe in it…is the Stamp -a-ma-jig! I knew that I wanted the sentiment "it's YOUR day" which is from the Fabulous Four Stamp Set (one that I have used a bunch and still cannot get enough of it)
I first drew a line in pencil where I wanted the sentiment and then as you can see in the picture using the Stamp-a-ma-jig I was able to get it exactly where I wanted it!

If you have a hard time with this tool…PLEASE email me and I will like to help you. This is a tool that makes you shine! I have helped people with skype…so please, do not hesitate to reach out to me!

Because the stamp is clear…there is no reason for anymore pencil lines or measuring…just have fun stamping away! I did all of the big flowers and then went back and did the little ones all on ONE try! I cannot wait to make this in other color combinations!

This is a note card size and the white that I stamped on is 4 3/4" X 3 1/4" and then the fun pop color is 4 7/8" X 3 3/8"! I adore the size of these cards and find that they are the perfect "go to" for a quick note!

The color scheme started when I picked the liner – it is from the Sweet Taffy DSP and after I picked that – that's when I went to the Color Coach and the rest is history!

That's it…I can hardly wait to try it in other colors and when I do…I'll play "show -n-tell" with you! My mind is going and going….
Thanks for popping in and I hope that this encourages you to try this stamp set…it is one that can be used in so many ways! The 2nd one looks fantastic embossed with versamark on a dark paper!
Click here to see the weekly deals that Stampin' Up! is offering to us this week (thank you Stampin' Up!) My favorite this week and I bet you wll be surprised…the handheld punch! I love this size for threading twine and linen thread and of course the Mosaic Punch (whenever you have the oppportunity to purchase punches on sale …GO FOR IT – we have THE BEST punches on the market!)
Click here and have fun shopping!!! I just love shopping in my jammies!
Now how about a teaser…check out this BEAUTIFUL NEW stamp that will not be available unti October 14th…..yep!!!! I see fun times with Blendabilities!!!

Until tomorrow…it's going to be a GREAT Blog hop!
