I love making baby shower cards and I really struggle with sympathy cards. They’re usually last minute and I want them to be just perfect.
My favorite cards to make are “thank you” or “just because” and I struggle with sympathy cards. I have also been a PP subscriber from the get-go and feel they have improved by leaps and bounds. Glad you’re having fun!
My favorite cards to make are Christmas although Easter is right up there also. Sympathy cards are my challenge.
I see a theme here….I have so much trouble with Sympathy Cards as well and would love some help with that. As for my fave, it has to be Thinking of You or Just Because as I love sending cards to people for no special reason other than to make them smile 🙂 So happy to hear you are having such a grand time!!
So glad you are having a fun time Susan! My absolute favorite card to make is Autumn, hands down! Why? Because I Love the colors of autumn and leaves! The most challenging would be fru fru cards with too much stuff on them….
I love to make birthday cards. My most challenging card is anything with watercoloring!
I make mostly birthday cards, so I love the occasional change up. Anniversaries, baby or shower, get well, and thank you’s. The worst are sympathy cards. But favorite are for the anniversary of dear friends. The last one was for the 50th anniversary for good friends. Glad you’re enjoying yourself. Be sure to rest!
I love making baby cards. I love the soft colors. Sympathy cards are challenging, especially for family.
I have much easier time just making all occasion cards including sympathy… Until I have to make a card for someone specific. For example, make oodles of birthday cards, but when I want to make one for someone extra special, I struggle trying to make it just so… Make sense?
My favorite card to make is a Christmas card. I always make a few different designs and then choose the people to whom I will send the design that fits them best. The hardest card for me to make is an Anniversary card. Help!!
My favorite cards to make are birthday cards and matching them to the person I am sending the card to. My least card are anniversary cards. Just never know what to say. Glad you are enjoying your time at SU convention. Now to get home and relax with your foot up!
Birthday and Christmas cards are my favorite cards to make. Sympathy / religious-occasion cards are challenging.
My favorite cards to make is birthday and thank you? I have a hard time making masculine cards. More ideas for those would be great!! The guys I know are not into fishing or hunting so it makes it hard for me. Haha!! Glad you’re having fun! Thanks for a chance to win!!
My favorite card to make is a thank you card because after someone does something nice for you, I think it brings a little smile on their face to receive something nice back. My most challenging card to make is a masculine card. Thanks for letting us know the upcoming PP kits are so cool! Can’t wait!
I love to make happy cards for children suffering in hospitals. I just imagine the smile on there face when they see the card! Struggle with sympathy cards.
Love your blog
So glad you are having a great time. My fav card to make is one that you can add a sentiment to at last minute or that will fill the need on any occasion. Guy cards are a bit of a challenge, hard to make it not so fussy.
Seletta
So glad to hear you are having fun and thanks for posting updates of your trip. We all look forward to your daily post! My fav card to make is birthday and masculine cards sometime stump me. Enjoy the rest of your trip and your time coming up with Hannah!
My favorite card to make are love you or miss you. My hardest are cards for kids. I have lots of stamps but draw a blank every time I sit down to use one! Help Susan!
My favorite cards to make are the small ones that tuck inside a gift. They are quick to make and always
turn out so great. Love to give out little treats so they work well. My least favorite cards are large ones.
Harder to get a balance with a bigger surface. Simple is always best, right Susan?
Don’t overdo…just pace yourself!
My favorite cards to make are Christmas. I have so many stamps and it is hard to decide which to use. But I love Christmas and find them the easiest to make. Sympathy cards are the hardest for me. When I make one I like I will make several to have on hand. It seems this time in my life I need more of those than anything! Have fun. I love your posts.
My biggest card making challenge is a sympathy card, and my favorites are Christmas cards.
I love Christmas cards but I usually end up getting way more complicated than I have the time for. And yes sympathy cards are a challenge.
I think my favorites to make are wedding or graduation, because I use the colors of the invitation or announcement (school colors) to start with. My challenge are cards that are more involved, not CAS cards.
Have enjoyed your convention updates. My favorite cards to make are fun folds, because they add such a surprise. I struggle with masculine cards because I think men like bright, colorful cards too but I don’t want them with flowers or butterflies, which are my two favorite things! have a safe trip home.
I enjoy making Thank You cards and masculine cards challenge me.
PS – I receive Paper Pumpkin and agree the kits are improving!
My favorite cards to make are birthday cards. I love to use bright cheerful colors. I struggle with sympathy cards. Thanks for the chance to win.
I love making Just Because,(hello, thinking of you) cards but making masculine cards are a challenge for me. Thanks for all the updates.
Oh definitely Thank You cards! You can never be too appreciative of others. A little thank you, smile, or gesture goes a long way. My next favorite would be a Birthday Card . . . it is like a gift in itself.
I’m so glad you are having a good time. I can’t wait to see pictures and read all about it.
🙂
My most difficult type of card is a masculine card without fishing or hunting themes, and, to be really specific, a masculine sympathy card is really challenging for me. I love making thank you cards and cards that I can add a sentiment at the last minute.
I love kids cards. I teach and I like having them to give to my students. Masculine cards are toughest for me. I tend to not have things that lend themselves toward a masculine card
My favorite cards are the cards I make monthly for my Swap Buddies !
It is always fun deciding what I am going to do next . And the ones I receive from them are so much fun !
So glad you are having a good time . It can not be easy with a limp paw !!
I have to make tons of thank you cards and find the most challenging for me are making masculine cards.
I enjoy making thinking of you cards as they can be used for so many things, especially when you need a quick card. I leave them blank and either just write in it or stamp the inside when I know what I need it for. Masculine cards are ones that I have a problem coming up with good ideas for.
I love anything with butterflies. When I make any card it has a butterfly somewhere on the card. One thing I don’s do much is cards for guys. That is a hard one. Ladies you can do any kind of card for.
I love making baby cards. The hardest for me are man cards….I just always want to put fru-fru stuff on! 🙂
I love to create any holiday card, be it Christmas (yes, the easiest and my favorite) or Valentine’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving or Easter. I struggle with masculine cards as do many others; thank goodness there are people like you with ideas to help us start our creative process! Enjoy the rest of your trip; travel safely.
Like many others sympathy cards are a challenge … and the one card I end up buying because I just don’t have a good “go to” … I love making thinking of you, congrats, miss you. etc. cards.
Love reading about convention …. thanks for keeping us updated!!
I love making Thanksgiving cards as the colors and images of leaves are my favorites! Believe it or not, I have the hardest time with birthday cards! I think it’s because there are too many ways to go with so many different stamp sets!!
My favourite cards to make are just because and birthdays (love birthdays!) my biggest challange is actually kids cards (specifically boy)
I love making all kinds of cards but the most challenging are masculine cards.
I’ve been watching the convention online and saw you rolling across the stage. You look great. You certainly look like you are enjoying yourself!
So glad to hear you are having a great time! Masculine are the hardest and my favorite are birthday!
Sounds like you are having a great convention. I like to make thank you cards. I too am challenged with sympathy cards.
I like to make seasonal cards and cards that let someone I know that I care. I have a difficult time with masculine cards.
I love to make cards, period. My favorite is something watercolored. My challenge is heat embossing. Have a safe trip back home!
My favorite cards to make are birthday cards. They celebrate that person’s special day. The hardest cards are masculine – specifically for teenagers! As the mom of 2 boys, I often have a lot of masculine cards to make. And this year my oldest is going to high school (eek!). Love the convention updates. I love the paper pumpkin kits as well.
My favorite is what I call “stream of consciousness” cards–when I add & subtract bits & pieces of this & that, until I have a collage of colors, trims & papers that suits me. With those, I let the final product “decide” what the sentiment should be…birthday, thinking of you, get well or just because. About sympathy cards: Lovely as a Tree & Serene Silhouettes are useful for those cards, which I usually keep on the “clean” side, in soft, subdued papers with maybe linen thread or baker’s twine as an embellishment. Making a personal, handmade card, on its own conveys sympathy to the recipient, I feel.
I like making birthday cards so you can make the card “fit” the person. Challenging cards are anniversary, sympathy, and general masculine cards. Rest up!
Get well cards are my favorite. No matter who I send them to, I always get a call telling me how much it cheered them up. Cheers me up to to hear it! My most challenging cards to make are for men. Just can’t get the mojo going for them. Always have to case someone’s great ideas. Would love to come up with my own someday. Thanks for all you do Susan!
I love making Christmas cards & Birthday cards but I struggle making masculine cards. Enjoy yourself !!!!
I enjoy making CAS cards, but find masculine cards a challenge. TFS
I love making birthday cards, women and children are easy peasey, men birthday seem to be a challenge.
I enjoy making all kinds of cards…………….no challenges!
Favorite card is definitely a thank you card and hardest card for me to make ties between masculine and sympathy. Maybe its the stamp sets that don’t lend themselves to masculine cards but for sure for me, I find it hard to make a sympathy card that is not cheery looking.
Hi Susan!
So glad you are having so much fun! My favorite card to make are birthday cards. They are so much fun, especially when they are for the younger ones. My most challenging this year has been graduation cards. I am just not good at those! And you are tempting me with the September paper pumpkin!!!
I like to make thank you cards. There are so many possibilities and great stamps for them. I struggle with masculine birthday cards. But I get great ideas for them from Pinterest.
My favorite cards to make are ones using Designer Series Paper. I love the colors SU uses and how they coordinate so well. I save all my DSP scraps.and use them to make a quilt pattern.
I love making Christmas cards- there are sooo many great images! I struggle with masculine cards that aren’t totally generic, but have a little pizzaz without being frou frou. Wish I could be there at convention!
I enjoy making ‘Thinking of You’ kinds of cards….sometimes for no particular reason other than to brighten their day. Masculine cards are difficult.
I love making Fall and Valentine’s cards the best. Sympathy and masculine cards are the most challenging. Hope you have a great time at convention!
I love hearing about Convention! My favorite cards to make are Thinking of you, Just Because, and Christmas, and the hardest (which seems to be a trend) are Sympathy. Thanks for the updates!
I love making birthday cards, especially for my grandchildren. I struggle with sympathy cards, it is hard to make a card for such a difficult time in one’s life. I love your daily posts. You are such a bright start to my day!! Hugs!
I enjoy making Birthday cards for specific people that I can customize and hopefully WOW. Pinterest helps me a lot with ideas for that. I have the hardest time with masculine and sympathy.
Glad you are enjoying convention. One day I will get there.
I love making birthday cards! The cards that are the hardest for me are Thanksgiving themed cards. 🙂
I love making thank you cards. Thinking of someone who gave me something or did something special for me makes me happy to be designing a card just for them. I have a hard time with masculine cards. I like to embellish a lot and guy cards just seem to not fit in that category.
I like to make light-hearted Halloween cards-not the ones that are eerie or scary. The autumn colors appeal to me. I struggle with cards that require coloring/shading and with masculine cards. Enjoy Utah!
I love making the small 3×3 cards as they can be turned into tags, birthday, thank you or the sky’s the limit. Oh, speaking of sky, that reminds me I need to get some sky blue ink. Anyway, I used to have problems with sympathy cards but after you made the one with the iris on it – that has been my go to card. Luckily I have only need a couple of them. I don’t do baby stuff so I struggle with those. Maybe if I had just one good one I could duplicate it in different colors etc.
So, why can’t those who subscribe get in on the cheaper prices of the Paper Pumpkin? So much for loyalty I guess.
So glad you are having a great time. You can sleep all next week!
I love making “Thinking of You” cards as you can use just about any stamp set. My hardest card to produce is “masculine”. Glad you enjoyed the convention, now you can go home and get some rest.
I am the odd-one here. I like to make sympathy cards. Beautiful and serene is my goal. I am really challenged by guy cards. Yikes, need 3 in August!
Christmas cards must be my favorite since I make so many of them, but birthday cards are right up there, too. Sympathy cards are the hardest, probably because I don’t keep them on hand and make them for specific people. Glad you’re having fun at Convention. Are you elevating that foot, girl? ;o)
My favorite type of cards to make are birthday cards. Most challenging cards are masculine type cards. Even just a “you’re in my thoughts” or “thinking of you” type card. Enjoyed all of your updates from convention. Sounds like it was a blast!
My favorite cards to make are biirthday cards. My hardest are sympathy cards. I always want them to be just right to convey my sympathy, but never feel they are. Thanks for another chance to win!
My favorited are “birthday ” and “thank you”. My challenging ones are sympathy and Anniversary. Thanks for the giveaway
Birthday cards are easiest…Guy birthday cards are a bit tougher
I am always looking for neat kid birthday…but love birthday and feel they are easiest.
Sympathy cards are hardest. it is hard to keep them simple and clean cut. Trying to say enough but not too little and showing enough compassion in the message.
I love christmas cards, just make me happy.
mens card make me work. So I shy away from them.
I think I just have fun with cards.
Hi Susan,
I’m so glad that you’re having such a wonderful time!!! 🙂
What I wouldn’t give to win some of your AMAZING cards!!! 😉 My favorite kind of card to make is a fancy fold! I just love step cards, gate folds, z-folds, joy-folds, etc.! It’s so much fun to see the recipient get excited over seeing something that’s a little more unique (not something you’d see at the store).
Have a safe trip back!
Crafty hugs,
Jennifer

My favorite cards are Baby cards. I love the colors. The hardest for me are get well cards.
I enjoy making birthday cards and I struggle with masculine cards. When the guys in my family have a birthday I struggle with their card every time!
I enjoy making birthday cards planned for the recipient, and I often end up using a floral theme. Masculine cards are difficult for me. I have a couple stamps that I use again and again, but don’t like to duplicate stamps for an individual time after time!
I like making “Hello” cards, as it’s just a means of friendship outreach under the “just because” category. No expectations on content or design! The sympathy cards are the hardest — mixed up with emotions and the “right” level of emotional touch. I even find myself trying to figure out their favorite color, to put on their card so they can feel a little better.
I love making every card but Christmas is my favorite. have fun at convention? Oh,, masculine cards r my challenge.
I love making birthday cards. I struggle with masculine cards. Guys just don’t like the flowers and all the fuss. New follower and really like you blog. Thanks for all you put into it!
My favorite card to make is a cheery bright card to make someone smile and I find it challenging to make sympathy cards.
I love making baby cards but find cards for men to be more of a challenge because I haven’t invested in many stamp sets that would work for cards for them. I am always drawn to butterflies and flowers instead!
I enjoy making “thinking of you” and encouraging cards and would love to learn more about adding small envelopes inside for gift cards or such. I struggle with the masculine cards for sure.
I really love making birthday cards, fun to make it fit the person and kids are my favorite. I find masculine cards the most challenging or probably spend the most time creating those.
Thanks for a chance to win!
My favorite card to make is a Just Because card. Everyone could use a smile. My least favorite is a sympathy card. Such a sad time and hard to find the correct wording
I don’t really have a favorite although I really enjoy personalizing my cards specifically for a particular recipient. Maybe “thinking of you” since it’s fun to send cards for no reason , it’s a nice treat to get a card “just because”. Sympathy cards are my least favorite.
I like birthday cards or anniversary. I send so many of each out every year! Layered cards are my favorite style. And of course some bling!
Dear Susan, My favorite card to make is Birthday cards for females. I love to make a card that is special for that person. I like to make it the colors that they like and try to match their style. I make it for that special person and let them know they are thought of.
My card that I have a hard time making are male birthday cards. I always have trouble with the guys. Have fun at the convention. You have got to not let your steam run out. YOU CAN DO THIS……
Hugs, Ellen Hinds
I enjoy making New baby cards and birthday cards. I struggle with sympathy cards. It is a challenge
To find the right sentiments and color combos.
My favorite cards are fall themed with a grateful for… fill in the blank. I can’t wait to use the new leaf stamp/framelit set! Experimenting a bit w/ watercolor-that challenges me! Looks like you’re having a great time 🙂
I love making thank you cards or thinking of you cards and struggle with sympathy cards like everyone else.
I have a large family so I make a lot of birthday cards. My biggest struggle is doing cards for the men.
I love making cards with lots of layering and “stuff” on my them. My hardest cards are ones with coloring, especially shading.
I enjoy making kids’ cards…….I generally do some punch art of some sort to match the grandchild I am making it for. I am most challenged making male cards. SU should have more masculine type stamps…..although they have had a few in this last year or so. Sounds like you are having a great time at convention. Hope you get another head of steam for the rest of your trip!
