Good Morning! You know that I am always honest with you…and I briefly want to say that I was very sadden by the Stampin' Up! Sale yesterday (I say, very limited offerings).
As I shared, we really do not know what is going to be on the sales…and with the "hype" from the Home Office, I really thought it was going to a super special offering for you.
It is important for me to let you know that I always try to put your interest first and I did (along with a bunch of other SUD's that it was going to be special)….I'm over it….time for FUN! My lip was hanging down and I truly did not even want to look at the computer.
(I did think that this click art was sweet)
It's a NEW day and it's a GREAT day…..here you go with some BEAUTIFUL CARDS that were sent to me….this is just the 1st wave so if you do not see yours….please do not worry…..I will share another day!
We are getting ready to have a terrible storm so I have just saved this and if we lose power I might have to finish in the morning!
Here you go!
There is a funny story about this…..last evening around seven I was in "command central"…my bed, my trusty pillows and my dogs! I saw a car drive down our lane and then the doorbell rang – dogs went nuts – and no one was here in the house.
When John came home after work, he moved my scooter to give me a kiss and forgot to push it back beside side my bed. I was too afraid to slide off our bed as it is very high and then I saw the car leave….I was sad.
John was mowing one field, James was mowing another an I said to them – DID YOU SEE MRS. STARK drive in….nope! The goodie was in the fern at the front door and it is adorable!
Please do not forget the great packaging that Stampin' Up! has and I adore using these masks to make the super fun POLKA DOTS. A great value! (They were filled with Chocolate Chip Cookies…..YUM!!!)
Is this simplicity at its best? This is one stamp set that is overlooked in the catalog and it certainly does make a super sweet card. Do you see the must have punch set that I always preach about…the Itty Bitty Accents Pack – how simple and fun.
I had to share the below envelope….isn't this a sweet way to make the mailman smile – love it!
Now if this does not bring a smile to your face….email me! This is from Mary Ann – do you all remember her…the super clever stamper that made that 3-D sheep that we all had so much fun with – We always end an email or letter with "Sheep Rock"!
Every time I see a sheep I think of her and then I must admit – I burst out laughing as my sheep looked like they were on stilts and then one looked like Rod Stewart……I just love all of you guys!
This is just adorable – you are one talented stamper and a super friend – just thinking of that day we laughed is priceless. (I see your governor has joined the race)
I planned to share with you a couple more today (as you will see in the scrolling store) but the storm is right over us now….
Let me leave you with a cute quote…again, I was really frustrated with how yesterday went….but I have moved forward and I think that these adorable cards will bring you sunshine and inspiration!
Please leave these talents stampers some comments of WOOT-WOOT! – Fantastic…..Thank you sooooo much!

You are one of the most inspiring and positive people I have encountered. Thanks for all that you do for so many, Susan. This batch of cards is wonderful and thank you for sharing.
Awesome set of cards!
Thank you for being honest with us, Susan. As I checked out the new items on clearance, I wondered where the next page was…..how disappointing. These cards are all pretty super de duper! Such amazing, talented ladies! You All Rock~
The cards are wonderful. Thanks to all for sharing their great ideas. And thanks to you too Susan for sharing your
disappointment – I thought I had unrealistic expectations. You are such a positive person – we all need this!
Happy July 1 to everyone! I love our little group here. Great post, great comments and great cards. They are very inspiring and uplifting. Continue to take it easy, Susan. 🙂
All the cards are beautiful! So much talent out there and so much fun to see it displayed! I am sure the cards put you in a happy place and make you smile! I was also a little disappointed with yesterday’s sale….maybe SU will do another one soon and it will be awesome. Cyber hugs to you and the pups!
Would love to know how Mary Ann made that adorable dog. I have a friend who is sick and would LOVE it! All of the cards are gorgeous!
Susan you get the “Gold Star” for the day for your comments! The Three Musketeers couldn’t agree with you more we felt SU fell way short of what the day could have been. Very sweet card with the border blooms too!
Love all the cards! Thanks for sharing them, Susan. And hope you are all better soon. I felt the same as you. In fact, I kept going back to the clearance rack because I thought there must be more and maybe I did not scroll far enough down! Silly me!! But in the end, it is all good, right? Have a happy day.
I have to agree…the “big clearance rack” sale was a disappointment after all the hype BUT that adorable dog punch art on your get well cards made me smile and forget about it! Does your friend have a blog or possibly a tutorial on how to do that darling doggie?
All of the cards are great! I checked the clearance rack yesterday morning and decided they must not have “loaded” it yet, so I checked back later and realized they had a lot of hype for nothing. Oh well. I don’t need to spend a bunch of extra money anyway. Happy Hump Day!
Love the cards. Each is so sweet and with great thoughtful details. They brighten everyone’s day. Thanks so much for sharing. Hope you have a great day.
Thanks for sharing the cards. They are fabulous!
Susan, you are an inspiration! Not only in card making but in life as well! Love the cards and your positive ness!
I broke my ankle 3 months ago and am almost healed, the knee scooter was a life saver. I love your blog! Thanks for sharing your creativity and that of your talented friends!
Well….I was thinking that I had overlooked another page myself on the big Hulabaloo Sales ! But I did actually buy the Embosser doozie . I thought it might be a good addition to my multiple stamping machines and other stuff that I don`t need ,but want (giggle). I think Brian said that there would be more items added to the Clearance Rack next week. We will see ??? Love you Susan because you are such a ray of sunshine ! Yes,even with your wounded and pitiful paw !! Hugs!
Susan, did you notice anything “familiar” with the box? (You gave it with brownies after my surgery. LOL) My mom always said when someone gives you a plate of food you need to return it with some goodies. I thought I would carry that over to the box. I dressed it up a little differently, but that is your box with the polka dots. Our family has on ongoing joke with recycling things. I made a get well card and sent to my nephew. My sister took it and reused it to send to my brother for his birthday who reused it again and sent it to my daughter for her birthday. THe funny thing is my sister was here when my daughter got the card and recognized it as the one she sent him. She obviously forgot I had made it and sent it to her son!!! Anyway, we get a lot of laughs and use out of our cards (and boxes)! Hope this makes you smile. Ariane made the cookies for you!
Deb, I hope you don’t mind if I CASE your card! I love the colors and your envelope rocks!!! And Mary Ann, your card is so dog gone adorable!!!! Perfect card for Susan. 🙂
I LOVE all of these cards/boxes you shared. What a bunch of talented ladies! I was also wondering if Deb would mind if I cased her card. I like the sentiment and wondered if it was SU and if so, what set?? I too was disappointed in the “big news” yesterday. (I am a demo)I looked for a second page of clearance items. Oh well. Thank you for sharing your wonderful cards.
Great cards is not enough to say. Jeanie’s card is so beautiful and an amazing use of a stamp set that I wasn’t all that crazy about. Jeanie you made me a believer! Deb has a card after my own heart…clean, simple with a lot of WOW! Love it! And Mary Ann’s card just makes you smile. Very clever! An amazing group,of card makers!
Thanks for sharing and I hope the storm wasn’t too damaging.
Susan, What a great selection of very talented ladies out there. Your cards are great ladies. You all deserve a BIG round of applause. Jeanne I love your idea of reusing the cards and having fun with them Resend to another person.. I hope that Stampin Up has some more great ideas. Susan, Keep getting better each day. Hugs, Ellen Hinds
Dear Susan, I also would love to have directions t make that adorable dog card from Mary Ann, It is a great card for Susan. I have several dog lover friends. Thank you Mary ann for making all of us smile.

Susan, I have to say, you ARE one of the most up-beat and happy people in blog land! NO matter how difficult things are for you, there’s always a happy tone to your blog posts. Not only that, but you create the most gorgeous cards, and share with us the cards from those that are lucky enough to know you personally. I wish I was one of those people, so I could give you a huge HUG! You just make me HAPPY! Thanks for sharing these gorgeous creations…and you hurry and get better!
I LOVE the cards you have shown in today’s post. I would REALLY LOVE TO FIND OUT more about two of them. DEB E — What flower stamp and punch did you use? And Mary Ann, would you share how you made that dog? I would probably love the sheep too as lambs/sheep are some of my favorite creatures, but I guess I didn’t follow the blog at the time the sheep were being done.
I hope you are getting along well (foot/ankle) and that the storms were not a problem for you.

All of the cards are fabulous! I love how Jeanie layered over the Everything Eleanor stamp. I need to remember that one!
Susan,
You have a wonderful attitude. Thanks for sharing these cards. Love them!
I am a demonstrator too and thought the same thing as you. The Clearance Rack was such a disappointment!
Hope you are back on your feet soon.
All of these cards are so awesome! I keep having to add more stamp sets to my wish list!
Wonderful ideas! I love the simplicity of the flower card and I adore the dog. Would Mary Ann share how she made the dog? So cute. Hope you are better soon.
CASE away. The sentiment for my card was from the Simply Wonderfuf, SAB set and the little flower is from the Something to Say set and punched with the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack.
Susan,
Your posts make me do happy; they just ooze with excitement. You have very talented friends and I love all three cards.
I emailed Susan instructions for the dog card to share since they were slightly long. This card is not my idea…I saw a picture on Pintrest and thought how cute he was and would give Susan a smile 🙂
Mary Ann, what did you use for the dog’s face? This could look like my basset with some tweaking of the ears and bigger paws! He definitely has the big read end! This card is just adorable!
oh, I checked the rack last night and there was a lot more stuff added like someone had forgotten to load another page or two. Still, it wasn’t quite as much as expected but there was a few things I might think about. Prices could have been a little better too but then again I am being cheap! There was more stuff from the Christmas catalog from last year for sure and some different papers and stuff that wasn’t in there yesterday morning.
Anyway, love the parade of cards including the recycled box! Such great talent!
Love the story and fun your family has with cards! No wonder they share–your cards are beautiful. This one is gorgeous! Now…where is your blog? We need to see more of your cards! 😉
Susan, I’m glad to hear it wasn’t just me that was disappointed after the hype. I too looked for a second page! Thanks for sharing the cards–they are fabulous and all go in my CASE file!
Susan, Thank you for being so honest about SU! Most of the demonstrators are too suck up about whatever the company decides to do. Lately, I have felt that SU is all about the profit but people like you keep it real! I do think that SU products are the best quality and that is why I am still a customer. I so appreciate you and all that you do for us! I love, love, love the cards you posted today! Now, go sit back with a nice beverage and take care of yourself.
Sincerely with love and caring,
Nancy B

Ellen, you would love Jeanie – she is a hoot and one talented stamper and an amazing teacher! Her children are very lucky to have her as a teacher!
It’s coming…I am going to give it a “trial run” and then I will blog about it! Super cute!
I was also sad when I looked at the clearance rack……but the rest of the catalog is great! Thanks for sharing all he great card with us! You are probably the most positive person I know! No lemons for you, only lemonade!
Thanks so much for sharing your cards. What talented contributors/friends! Sending happy positive thoughts for your recovery.
I used the retired butterfly punch and trimmed around the top part for long face.
Oh Bobbi…you are so sweet and I appreciate our kind and sweet words. I am trying to hang in there and yes, I feel super blessed to be able to be a part of this fun we have and also I deeply appreciate everyones well wishes and cards…
Hello and thanks for leaving these gals a comment…..
Th stamp set the Deb used is called Pictogram Punches and it is on page 46 in the catalog….It is a fabulous set and one that is sooooo overlooked!
The flower punch that matches it is from the Itty Bitty Accents Punches and if you do not have this trio of punches….hit that SHOP NOW button and go for it – I use it ALL THE TIME!
The dog…soooo darn cute- Mary Ann sent me the directions and I am going to blog about it….
I agree….I have a whole new love for Eleanor! Thanks for popping by!

You’ve heard it from the “Sheep Herder” and now I can call her the “Pooch Patrol”…..I promise that I will break down Mary Ann’s great instructions and blog…..
Now there are NO guarantees that mine will look like a dog!!!!
no page 2…sad!
Thank you Nancy. I truly o try to put everyones best interest first and be totally honest. I do agree, we have stellar products – I was just very disappointed of the hype that the home office did and naturally I wanted you all to be able to HOP IN IT – but there was nothing to HOP ON!
Oh Wanda – I am smiling and I think that you are going to love the next round to. There is so much talent out there….I love to share what people do….
They certainly are very talented…Jeanie and Deb are both down-line and I have never met Mary Ann but I feel like I know her….she makes me smile….
