Good Morning! Today is a FUN post for you as I am showcasing to you some FUN & WHIMSICAL cards that I saw at convention on the wall of cards! Unfortunately I cannot give the designers credit as they were hung up and some of the pictures are not the best…..but I did my best to snap some fun cards for you!
If you follow my blog…..you know that this would be a TOTAL CHALLENGE to me to make cards like this but they are absolutely adorable! I was wishing my favorite "sheep herder, Mary Ann" was with me to dissect them to tell me what punches were used!
Enjoy this parade of AMAZING cards and I am in total awe with the talent…poor little me from WIlliamsport, MD is just happy and fine with my clean and simple style but I must admit – it is SUPER FUN to see these ideas!
For some reason my blog did not go off yesterday on the timer….please click here to see…sorry!
Just adorable! Do you have a favorite? Please leave a comment with which one you like!
I saved the dog for last as I was hoping that our "Sheep and Dog Catcher" can break it down for us…..he is a cutie-pie!
Please pop back tomorrow and you will see a "Susan Card"…right up my alley and I know that you will like it as well…..super clean and simple!
Enjoy the day…..make some memories and I hope that you have some time to get "inky"

All of them are cute!! My favorite is probably the dog or worm card, though. It’s Caleb’s birthday today, so I made him a Minion birthday card very similar to the one above. I didn’t make it a “swing” card, though! We’re having a “Minion”-themed party so I had to make a card to match. Looking forward to your card tomorrow 🙂
Love the dog!!!!!! Would love to know the “pieces”!
My son has some chickens, and my sweetie loves minions. I like the puppy, and I’m thinking about making a cat in the same way. They are all so cute.TFS, hugs Jess
It’s amazing what can be done with punches! I Adore the snail and turtle! Thanks for all these creative ideas, Susan~
What clever ideas. Thanks for sharing.
OMG, they are all so cute. I’m in a swap that the theme is animals. This couldn’t have come at a better time. I don’t have any animal stamps, except the squirrels on “Nuts About You”. I am very partial to dogs but love the turtle and the snail also.
I got to work on one of your Stamp of the Month Club Kits yesterday. I won’t tell you which one, but the cards are gorgeous. I’ve been having such a good week. I actually got to make cards the past three days in a row. That is a record for me and one I can’t wait to break.
I love that “get inky” expression!!!
🙂
These are so cute! The turtle and snail are amazing. I like the basket of flowers also. The dog is special. Thanks for sharing.
Amazing!! So much talent there.
Using punches in a different way always puts a smile on my face. They are all super. Love the way the dog is coming through the frame, great technique. It’s the eyes on the snail that makes me giggle. I think they are a half a heart. Thanks for the fun post and all the great ideas. Can’t wait to see your card tomorrow.
They are all so cute! But the dog is my favorite!
Love the punch art. I have been looking for some lately. The dog is my favorite. Thanks for your timely post Susan!
Pick a favorite – ummm, hard to pick. I normally would go with the dog but something about those apples really say “pick me” instead. I guess I am focusing in on that they are suppose to be the cherries aren’t they and why are the green ones more expensive than the red or Golden Delicious? The car is really clever and the snail and turtle are so cute – must be those eyes on the snail! The flower one is really great too. But, those darn chickens made me smile. The first card though I can say is my least favorite and I have no idea of what it is and why is the one ear cut. Whatever! The Minion makes me laugh as Mike is portly and has decided to where blue bibs when he is working outside so he has no butt crack or at least keep his pants up. Anyway, the other day he had a gold T-shirt on with them and I couldn’t help but think of a Minion. Thank goodness he has 2 eyes though as I would totally lose it if he had one eye in the middle like one of the characters! Hey, give me a break we had storms all night and this is the third night with lack of sleep!
The Minion, dog and box of flowers are my favorite. Kind of fun to guess the punches. Do you know if framelits were used also?
Nemo and Dorey are just the cutest!!!
Good morning Susan,
I just love all of these cards. I do like to make punch art cards. The kids would just die for these type of cards. I liked the book worm and the turtle and the snail.
They are all cute !!!!!!
The first and second cards are from a movie called Finding Nemo, which is a Disney animated movie. The first is Nemo (his ear gets cut in the movie) and the second is Dory, who helps Nemo’s dad (Marlin) find Nemo after he gets lost in the ocean 🙂
OMG! How adorable are these cards! All of them are so clever and well thought out! Kudos to the people who did these! The dog is my fav and a close second is the turtle and snail.
Breaking down the dog (hope this helps everyone): ears – large oval folded over; head – large circle cut in half; snout – small circle cut in half or little over; nose – free hand cut shape; brown spot on face – large oval cut in half or a little over; collar – circle – need only a portion; body -extra large oval; hat – triangle punch, tip of star or tree punch or free hand cut.
Cute cards, I luv the apples, flowers and chickens 😉

I LOVE them all. My favorite…the turtle. My kids love turtles so I am drawn to them…GREAT JOB!
Wow! These are all amazing! I don’t know if I can pick a favorite, but my kiddo loves the minion! Thanks for sharing these great ideas!
All the cards are amazingly cute. I don’t think they are difficult to make but I would not go this route as I find it very tedious. I might take the time to make one for a special grandchild once and awhile but I like clean and simple. I anxiously await tomorrow for another beautifully elegant “Susan Card.” Love you!
I guess I must be the oddball of all who have commented. My favorite is the snowman. I love his smile.
OMG, my husband and I are obsessed with minions right now, they just make us smile. : ) And the Hot dignity Dog one is dog-gone cute! Reminds me of Keona and Rosie! : )
Saw you and Mary Fish cross the stage at the convention webinar (I am a Pal under Mary). So wished I could have been there to meet you in person! Last convention I was at you were not able to make it there…..two years ago. Wow…I have been quietly stalking your website for a LONG time! : )
Glad you were able to make it and glad you had a great time. Look forward to meeting you someday in person!
Shari
Oh what a hoot. Love these cards. Some clever thinking people to come up with which punch will make an ear, eye, etc. Beyond me.
My favorites are the Snail & Turtle, the eyes & expressions are priceless. Love the Volkswagon, my BFF has one and this would be a perfect card for her. I can hear her squeal all the way from Florida if I sent her this card.
Thank you for sharing. Looking forward to tomorrows post.
Take care.
Mary Ann Horbinski
These are all amazing! But I LOVE the snail and the turtle the best.
They are all so darn cute! I have to pick just one?
Well, if I must it would be the ‘chickens’.
Thanks for sharing. Can’t wait to see your simple card too.
I am going to try to figure out the chickens. I have been collecting roosters for years. All of these are so crazy cute and creative. TFS
Gotcha – so much for what I know – I thought the second one was maybe Nemo but thought he was orange but was not sure. The ear thing had me a little baffled too. You can tell I don’t have kids! That wintery character I know is from that one movie that I always think is a snowman gone Looney or falling apart!
Hi, hope you’re u are recovering from the excitement from convention. What fun you had zipping around in your little scooter. My favorite card is the dog card hot digity dog. Love your simple cards. Your dots and dashes. You are the first demonstrator that I look at each morning. You are so upbeat! Thank you for all your talent, creativity, and sharing.
