Did you get to see some fireworks last night? I did and they were BEAUTIFUL….I was able to zoom all over…I saw them in Washington DC…in New York…..In Boston – I was just all over the place from the comforts of home… the TV!
I am doing great…and feelin' great. Each day I am feeling stronger and stronger and now I am to stand on crutches and slowly put weight down (just a couple of times a day) and then ZOOM – back to my scooter! I will have to wear that fashionable immobilizer until therapy starts in August as I just cannot flex my ankle.
Ok – enough about me – let's get to the changes today! I just cannot say enough about this kit…it is just great! For those of you that do not like the word "kit" – don't let that sway you as you are getting a stamp set that is WOW and just think of how many other cards you will make with this practical stamp set.
Please pop back to yesterday's post to see all 20 of the cards that I put together, just as the instructions said and I think that they are great….but today I am going to tease you with (4) of them that I "stepped up"….I have made comments for you! ENJOY!
I will first have the card that I "stepped up" and then the next picture (collage) will show you what it looked like yesterday! (remember, click on the collage to make it bigger)
Card #1 – "Thanks"
Card # 2 – You're in my Thoughts…
Card # 3 – "Happiest Birthday Wishes"
Card #4 – "Here's to you" (oops, messed up on the border)
Well – there you go! Cute…right? In my opinion, you cannot go wrong with the way the kit comes…or the way that I have stepped it up today! They are both great and when you look at the additions, it are very affordable….bakers twine, the envelope liner paper…simple, basic items!
Here are a couple of comments about the kit…
- There are extra wooden pieces left….(4 solid hearts, 2 open hearts & 4 butterflys)
- You have plenty of washi tape left – (I actually did my 2nd set of cards with it)
- Several leaves and a couple of flowers
- Lots of sequins left.
This is just a great value, I think that you will agree that if you were to purchase this stamp set it would be at least $18.00+ ….just love the sentiments! Just think the stamp set and 20 cards and envelopes for just $35.00!
Do you want the rest of the "stepped up" images….easy, if you purchase this kit from me, I will be happy to send them to you! Hit that CLICK NOW button and get ready for fun!
You can see the extra items that I used in the scrolling store…and recommend the glue dots and the "green glue"…love these 2 items and Bakers Twine….a must have for sure!
Enjoy the day and I hoped that you enjoyed this showcase of this NEW product!
p.s. – For those of you that would like to earn hostess stamp sets and free product, this would be a fabulous opportunity for you to get a Hostess code from me…..send an email out to your friends and have your own Watercolor Wishes fun time!
With everything already being in the kit…it is a great way for you to invite friends and family to have fun and walk away with completed cards!

Oh Susan~ The stepped up cards are perfection! Thank you for the inspiration.Fabulous!
I adore what you did with these stepped-up versions, boo-boo’s or not. You are so creative and I appreciate you sharing with us. I am really thinking I need to order this kit. Thanks for your inspiration!
Hi Susan, this kit is just what two of my friends have been asking for. I have already told them about it. I’m hoping to have a “Kit Party”. I’ll certainly be showing off your great cards. Thanks a bunch for sharing.
Hope you had a great July 4th. I was watching those fireworks with you.
🙂
Great job as always! Geeezzzzz….you are so creative!!!!
Hi Susan! I am just catching up on emails after being gone for two weeks. I love your stepped-up cards! Such a big difference, in my opinion! I really do want to come take lessons from you, eventually. I’ll watch and watch and watch!
I’ll email you soon (still a lot of things to catch up on). I’m glad you are improving. And, I’m really, really glad you are able to start putting a little weight on your foot. That will be a big help when you get to the physical therapy.
Talk to you soon!
Cyberhugs!
I adore your “step it up Sunday” and I must tell you that you make me feel special by sharing this !
Can’t wait to give it a go !
Each and every one of your stepped up cards makes such a nice difference. You just enabled me enough to put it on my wish list.
Love your take on these cards, your step up is right on.
Glad to hear you are feeling better and progressing back to normal.
Now I have to wait until late tomorrow for Mr.Brown to show up with my kit that is scheduled to arrive at then of the day! Thanks to your suggestions will be looking at ways to make the cards Susan’s stepped up versions. Keep well with continued improvement each day.
Simply OUTSTANDING! Love them all, but especially the first card. Love your additions today. Very sweet!
Good to hear you keep getting better!
They may be little changes but oh what a WOW statement each made! The last one is hardly recognizable! I can’t believe how the flower on top of the open heart showcases the flower so much more plus added interest to the heart! The addition of the little hearts are so cute too. The taupe striped one was a favorite card but the sentiment just sort of blended in making you almost want to yawn! Well, the little additions made my mouth snap shut in amazement! Just the matting alone brought it to attention immediately. Of course the liner was a big help too. I love how you did the baker’s twine treatment too. Such an enabler, I want to see the rest of the cards so you bet I will be hitting that “Click it now” button in a bit.
We watched the Capitol 4th from D.C. on TV. I saw some of the fireworks here out our 2nd story window.
Sounds like you are being the perfect patient and August will be here in no time and you will be up on your feet in no time! So, glad!
What great ideas you did on the stepped up version! It’s amazing how little tweeks make such a difference. Glad to hear you are felling better…before you know it you will be danc’n around the house!
