Hi all….I am so sorry to be a huge disappointment to you but I will pop back on later to finish this post.
In a nut shell….it was SUPER HARD for me to pick just 10 and I was working hard on it for you. I did do a video and I am hoping that you will enjoy it!
When I am able, I will pop back on and list the (BIGGER) that 10 for you…to sum it up in a nutshell (ha-ha – yes, I love the acorn punch) – this is a FABULOUS CATALOG…..truly stellar in many ways!
My doctors appt was great and I will fill you in on that but I need to be honest, my dear Eddie is not doing well. He has not been having a good week and even though I have not blogged about that, I need to make him comfortable.
Please keep him in your thoughts….he is my old guy that loves life but we have known that he has been ill. He is so determined and brave – he played ball last night and then came in the house and is not well.
I hope that these pictures of him will bring a smile to you….we took him on the boat on Sunday and he LOVED it…..each day he brings us joy but I am fearful that he is trying to tell us something.
The BOOT is officially off and I have a new friend……I am calling her "baby boot"
Thanks for understanding and until later……
UPDATE: – I just logged in quick to let you know that Eddie slept by my side all night and is very peaceful. I will call the vet this morning and talk with her.
Those Jack Russell's – they have a HUGE heart and are so loyal….it is a day by day and by all means…all I ask and pray for is that he is comfortable because I can say – he is happy old guy.

Sweet, Sweet, Adorable Eddie. He has been in my thoughts SO much lately and I hope and pray he will feel better. These pics are absolutely adorable; its obvious he was having a blast on the boat. I woke up in the middle of the night and popped on here (I am sometimes too excited to see your post to wait ’til Caleb is up!) but as soon as Eddie’s little buddy wakes up I will show him this post and he will l-o-v-e the pics!! Sending all my love and extra hugs to you and our dear little friend, Eddie.
P.S. Congrats on your doctors appointment! The picture of you with Eddie is great. :). Hugs!!
My heartfelt love and prayers go out to all of you and especially sweet Eddie. I hope things go well and know you are all in my prayers. Blessings.

Just letting you know even though miles apart we are right there with you on this journey whether it be holding a paw or keeping you encouraged. Hope you and Eddie can find some comfort in knowing that.
Oh Susan, I know what you are dealing with all too well. My 11 yr old lab is going downhill and it is just heartbreaking. My thoughts and prayers go out to you !! Sending hugs!
So sorry to hear of Eddie’s struggles. Prayers and hugs.
I’m so sorry to hear about Eddie. He is so handsome, and you can tell he is loving that boat ride! Prayers for him and you!

Now on to Mr. Eddie; thank you for the precious photo of him in his mommy’s lap. You have lots of wonderful memories of him tucked away. Praying for you this time for wisdom with your dear furry friend, Susan. Big Hugs~
Hugs to Eddie–such a dear boy.
Sweet little Eddie! Enjoyed your photos this morning. I am happy to hear the boot is a thing of the past for you. Sorry to hear of Eddie not being well. You are such a good mommy to him!
Our pets are such a part of the family. Thoughts are with you and remember he is one happy and content guy who has known great love and companionship his entire life and knows he is loved.
Oh Susan – it is so hard when a fur baby is not well. Heartbreaking to say the least. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. Peace.
So very sorry you are going through this with your sweet boy. (((HUGS))) to you all, please give Eddie a gentle hug and kiss from me. Prayers coming your way.
Your doggie looks so very sweet. My Jazzy, a little black Sheltie died the last day of May. He was 9. He had been in a house fire we had almost 4 years ago. He got through that, but this winter, he developed a cough. I can’t believe the two were not related. Bless you and your family; all the furry ones too. I know it is so very hard to lose our little friends.
Thinking of you and your family and your sweet boy, Eddie. Our fur babies hold such a special place in our lives and in our hearts. We have always had terriers and they are full of personality and determination. My prayers are with all of you.
Eddie is lucky to have some one that surrounds him with so much love and support at this time of his life. You are such a wonderfully caring person. My thoughts are with both of you and you family too.
So sorry to hear that syour friend weet Eddie is not doing well. Sending you a hug.
Those little jacks make such a huge impression on our hearts don’t they. I have always had Jacks my entire adult life and most think I am crazy but I wouldn’t have it any other way. I heart Eddie and hope he is comfortable xoxo
So sorry about Eddie. Thoughts go your way.
I also wanted to say that the videos have been amazing! Great Job!! Looking forward to the next. Thanks for the tips.
Good to hear that you are healing. Wishing the best for Eddie.
He knows he is loved and that you will do all that you can for him.
Big hugs and heartfelt prayers to you and that adorable Eddie ! Been there ! It hurts !
Love that dsp….will come back later to view the video ….can`t see ….too many tears !
Glad to hear you are healing. Sending good thoughts to Eddie. He knows he is loved and that you will do what is best for him.
Praying for Eddie and all of you.
So glad to hear you have a new lighter boot. I love the pics of Eddie…he surely is Captain of the ship and loves every minute of it! Hold his paw and hug him tight for all of us. Love and prayers to you.
Thoughts and prayers with you, Eddie, and you family.
Praying for peace and comfort for Eddie and for his family! He looks a lot like our Buddy who is also a Jack Russell and we love him dearly. I understand your anguish. Prayers.
I have so enjoyed your posts with Eddie in them. I miss my Jack (Spunk… and as you know, the name really fit him). When Eddie crosses the rainbow I know they will find each other and run and play for eternity.
Hugs,
S. Darby
Sweet pictures of you and Eddie! I’m crying for you because I know how difficult it is…my thoughts & prayers are with you!
Such a sweet boy. My prayers are with you.
Hugs, prayers, and well wishes on their way!
Oh Susan, I am so sorry for what you are going through with Eddie. You have given him such a good life and I know he has enriched yours. Sending prayers and hugs. Call me if you need ANYTHING!!!
Poor Eddie. It surely isn’t nice to get old. It is so hard on our hearts to watch our fur babies get old and struggle. He has definitely been living the good life though!
Susan, I found you on a blog hop and have my morning coffee with you every day since then.
Your post today hits home in such a way I feel I want to respond, hopefully in a supportive way. I also have a Jack Russell, Mojo, who is 12 years old and his health is failing. We are so blessed to have the love and loyalty of this special breed of dog. I am feeling the heartbreak that I read in your words. Eddie, yourself, and your family are in my thoughts. Enjoy every moment with your precious Eddie.
Prayers and hugs to you and to Eddie. He looks like a sweet sweet boy!
So sorry about Eddie. It is so hard to let them go. Will keep you in prayer.
Prayers for you , the family, and Eddie. I only have 4 legged children so I know too well how hard it can be. And congratulations on the boot. I was one of the other Pals with a boot at convention 🙂
So glad you got a new baby boot the the doctor visit went well. I am very sad to hear Eddie is not doing well. He does look like he enjoyed being Captain of the ship. So proud! Give him lots of hugs and love from all of us. Keeping you and Eddie in my prayers.
I understand about how you feel about Eddie. We had a Jack Russell names Phoebe for 13 years. When she past away I thought I would die too. A course all dogs have a piece of your heart but my Phoebe was very special to me. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Glad to hear you are doing better.
Susan, I love the pictures! Glad you are making good progress into “Baby Boot” but so sad that Eddie is not well. Cuddling him is good medicine. I hope the conversation with the vet will give you a little more knowledge of what to expect. Love & prayers to you all.
my thoughts are with you, enjoy Eddie for as long as he is able to be with you.
Dear Susan, I am so sorry to hear your wonderful Eddie is not doing well. It is do hard to hear and see our wonderful animals sick and not doing well. God places these amazing animals into our lives to be our loyal companions in life. These animals teach us so much love and compassion. My heart goes out to you and your family and especially to Eddie. I am so glad that boot is off. That baby boot is a hoot. You both look so good on that boat. You can tell you love Eddie. You are in my prayers. God Bless you always. Ellen Hinds
Our thoughts are with you!
I too have an ‘old guy’ beside my dear hubby! LOL My sweet guy is a Yorkie. He just turned 13 at the end of August and a year ago our vet told us he was in kidney failure with only 35% kidney function. She also said he’d probably only live 3 months at the most! In the last few months he has lost his eyesight, but he’s still capable of all other bodily functions, though he sleeps most of the day and all night, only staying up late afternoon and all evening. For some reason after he went blind he wants hubby to do everything for him, he wants to be right by him. At least we never let him outside for any reason so we don’t have to worry about him wandering off. We’ve always had animals, but now it’s just one Yorkie, they are like people to us. Best wishes in your journey with your precious Eddie.
Please be at peace that you are not a disappointment to us. Our plans can change at any time, as yours has. Eddie needs you now more than your stamping needs. Comfort and peace to you and Eddie.
