Good Monday morning..I am SUPER happy today for so many reasons – I am going to bullet point them and then we are going to get to this super cute card that if you are not smiling with it – than WE NEED TO TALK….as I think it is super sweet!
- Eddie hit a HOMERUN – He ate 4 x's in a row and he ate a scrambled egg mixed in with his turkey! (super cute picture of him at the end of the post)
- John left yesterday for business until Friday night and I have a new motto..."When John is away – Susan is going to PLAY"!!!!
- The weather is UNREAL and the windows were open last night and I felt like the lady on Home Alone when the pigeons were all over her….the dogs and I had a fabulous time having a slumber party!
- James and I are eating things that John does not like – last night was a spicy Mexican Fiesta and we had a ball together…I used to think that the best times were when they were little tikes – but I am LOVIN' having him home!
ENOUGH – let's get to the card as it is super fun! I have a confession, at 1st glance I was only going to purchase the framelits of this bundle (as I ADORE any framelit that is a sentiment), then when I sat and thought about how I could I use this stamp set…and then knowing that I would get an instant 15% off and then another 20% off = HIT THAT BUTTON!
I just love sentiments…and this bundle has (4) fabulous script sentiments – spooky, snow, falala and grateful! To me these are great, basic "anchors" for a clean and simple card. Bundles are just the best and there is no way that I would ever pass up a script framelit sentiment!
The card size is a 4 1/2" square card in Rich Razzleberry and then each layer is just 1/4" smaller – (but trust me, I used the "insides" to take full advantage of the paper that was going to be covered up)!
This Halloween paper, Happy Hauntings is just amazing…each and every print is better than the next! Simple, fun…DONE! You know me and polka dots!
I did use the Vanilla Coaster Board to cut out the sentiment and heads up….it goes through the Big Shot just like a piece of paper….really no difference – and I just love the effect it gives.
The envelope punch board made it super easy to make this fun Tangelo Twist envelope! This little tool, just under $20.00 is simply amazing with all of the amazing thing it can do = just LOVE IT! Once you have it down…it's like riding a bike, you'll do it again and again!
You know me by now….I love my dots and dashes – these dots made the cucumber crush flagged piece of paper (1 1/2" wide) help set off the sentiment and make the total focal point of the Jack-o-lantern POP!
Let's all have a great week, please feel free to email me if you meed anything – I am really, REALLY looking forward to a productive and wonderful week! (gee, I have a lot of Stamp of the Month Club things to do). In closing, below is a picture that will touch your heart!
Is this adorable or what!?!? It was chilly out when we woke up on Sunday and when Eddie came back in the house he was cold so I put his bed in the sun by a window…remember ~
"What ever Eddie wants…Eddie gets"!
He played outside with his canine siblings and had a fabulous day – right by my side as I had an affair with weeds….his trusty tennis ball is always in an arms reach….or a "paws" reach!
Until tomorrow….

Great card, Susan. So happy to hear someone point out and take notice of the little things like cool weather, good food, time with our kids, and a HAPPY EDDIE! Have a wonderful day!
Really cute card and such a precious picture of little Eddie! Have a great week!!!
Kay
Good Morning Susan,
So happy about Eddie right now. Makes me smile. The card is so cute. I like your idea of knowing you will get any word framelet. They are a great “anchor” to go to!
Enjoy your Monday.
🙂
Eddie makes me smile, so happy he is feeling better. Cute card. Enjoy your free time.
First, this pic of Eddie just melts my heart! Hugs, Hugs, Hugs! Now on to your card….awesome and adorable! It “screams” Halloween and the colors are perfect! Have fun “playing” while hubby is away and get into some “inky” situations.
So glad you are having a great start to your week and Eddie is enjoying his mealtimes again. Love the card. Have a great week.
Nothing better than taking advantage of spending special time with our children and eating things that the hubby doesn’t care for! Double Woot! Then to learn that Eddie Itell has had a Fabulous weekend also is another Wow factor! So A-dorable that little guy! Cute card, Susan. I’m not into Halloween; don’t like the grossness that comes with that day, but you’ve created a really sweet pumpkin card, and I don’t find it to be ‘spooky’. ; )
Not sure which made my heart “smile” more, the picture of Eddie or your cheerful card. Thanks for starting my week off in such a happy way.
Yeah Eddie!!! Lived the entire post and your outlook on the week and life! Let’s go and get this party started for the week!
Your card is so fun! Sometimes Halloween can be so dark it is not one of my favorite holidays. Eddie is so sweet. Keep him close.
Love this card!!! The picture of Eddie is simply adorable and priceless. Here’s wishing you a week full of creative juices and lots of awesome projects to share with us “stalkers” of your amazing work!!!
Woot, Woot! There is so much to be excited about this Monday morning! Eddie’s picture had us all smiling ear to ear and it brought back great memories of our Jack Russell laying in front of the windows; he would always sleep with his head resting on top of his favorite toy. I’m excited to hear Eddie has perked up and is continuing to eat his momma’s good cooking. Enjoy your Stampin’ play time while John is gone! I’m sure James is equally excited to be spending quality time together…that’s awesome! Have a great week!
I am still smiling as the only thing spooky is that the little “punkin” looks like it is wearing a little Shriner’s hat complete with a tassel! The leaves make it look like a tassel. Boy, do I need to get new glasses!
At first I was puzzled as to what set you used etc and then I thought the snow globe one and I was right! I bet there will be some great cards made with this bundle once people take the time to really look at it and think outside the circle.
Eddie looks so snuggly with his ball and the warmth of the sun. How sweet!
Love all the sweetness in your post today. Your card is full of sweetness as is the pic of Eddie. Thanks for the smiles!
Always enjoy cute, not scary, Halloweeen cards and yours is no exception! With John gone, “while the cat’s away, the mice will play” this gives you some good time to spend as you like. I do the same when my husband is away on a golf trip. Sweet, sweet, Eddie. He looks so content. You’re a good Mommy.
Kathy
I love the big “Spooky”, which is perfect on this cute card with the brights colors. Some alone time is not a bad thing and I think we all need it every now and then. So glad Eddie is perking up.
Darling picture of Eddie with the tennis ball safely tucked in close. hehe
And darling card, too!! Super cute.
hope that your sweet little Eddie continues to have an appetite….never a good sign for a pup (young or old) to loose his appetite so I know what a relief it is to see them chow down.
Cute card, too…..I got that set first day of the pre-order! Love the snowglobe set!
Yea Eddie! I have to say that I was smiling before I got to the bulletpoints. Your happy pumpkin did that to me!
Once, our cat, Jack got really sick. The doc was afraid that he ate something inedible but Jack was too ill for an operation. Then Jack threw up and we (pet lovers will understand) dissected it to see what it was. It was just a mass of tightly packed hair (the mother of all hairballs). After that Jack rallied real quick but he tried to milk it for the longest time. I almost died! I need special treats! I almost died! I need to sleep in your bed! I almost died! I need a second dinner! I’m not saying Eddie is playing you but his story reminded me of Jack. Jack too is now very old and frail.
