It's Thursday and you know what that means….time to play with the Pals Paper Art! Today is my favorite – a color challenge and below you will see the palette that we are working with today!

I have a confession….Sahara Sand was probably one of my least favorite colors for a LONG time until one day I realized that I was out of Crumb Cake and needed a neutral so I thought – WHY NOT?
The rest is history and I hope that you try this as a base color and accent as it is just fabulous with so many different colors. It is a "sleeper" and I think that once you give it a try, you'll like it!
I am still feeling not 100% but I am determined that today is going to be a better day….I have been on an antibiotic and I am counting on tomorrow to be my "shining day" – Needless to say, I did not get to go to the Horse Show this week but there will be others and Hannah understands!
You really do not need me for this clean and classic card! With the tools that Stampin' Up! has for us at our fingertips we can make a beauty in no time!
This card is using the stamp from the Lighthearted Leaves Photopolymer Stamp Set from the Holiday Catalog, it is a keeper of all keepers and the fact that we have matching framelits makes it a "blue ribbon" card! (I just LOVE the ease of our speed tools, to me, framelits are total speed tools)

Here is a "funny" for you – the other day James said to me, "Mom did you know that it is proven that coloring helps you relax, it helps people with depression, there are so many benefits to taking time to sit and color" – Just then we were going past a local store that the sign said…."New Stock of Adult Coloring Books" -
This card is one of those "adult coloring" that is FUN – remember, no rules just have fun. Can you remember how much fun it was to color and get a fresh pack of crayons and a new coloring book! Happy times filled with great memories but I can also remember getting made at my brothers if they took my coloring book and did a page!
It is hard to see in the photos the richness and depth of this card, but when you hold it – I must say that it is stunning! I needed a card for a friend and I thought that this would "do the trick" and this sentiment is from theThoughts & Prayers Clear-Mount Stamp Set. (This has been in the stampin' up! catalog for a while and you can see why…..one great stamp set!)

All you need is to color, color and color! I used the brush tip end of our Stampin' Write Markers….I have had my original set for over 4 years now and besides me losing one….each one still work like a "dream machine". I realize that it is a HUGE investment to purchase the Many Marvelous Markers, but I will say that you will not regret it and I would love to help you get it for 50% off with a hostess reward!
The moral of this whole stampin' story is to HAVE FUN….and enjoy and cherish each and every time you can sneak some "me time" in!
I hope that this envelope makes you smile, I tried to pull all of the colors in ~ the fun print is from the Farmers Market Designer Series Paper – a beautiful collection of papers!
Please pop over to the Pals Paper Art Site and see what everyone else had up their sleeve this week and then YOU give it a try. I know that there is a ton of talent out there and it is FUN!
Pop back tomorrow and I will share with you another super simple card that will make you say – that is soooooo easy – I can do that! Guess what…I know you can!
Until tomorrow!

Cute card, Susan. I’m really getting into the adult coloring. It is very relaxing. Too bad you missed the horse show, but I’m glad you are feeling better.Take care of yourself.
Beautiful card!!
Beautiful card AND envelope, Susan. Love the color pallet, too!
Great card! I really want that leaf stamp set. I know a few adults who like to color those “adult coloring books” and I think they would enjoy coloring the stamps from this set and the dove from the holiday catalog.
I hope you feel better, all the way, very soon!
Cyberhugs!
Beautiful card and great color combo! Glad to hear you are starting to feel better. Now don’t overdo it with this storm coming. I love to color, too, whether it is in a coloring book, card or on canvas…..so relaxing and soothing and let’s not talk about my doodling…it’s everywhere! Enjoy!
Pretty card ! I use to color when I was home from school with a cold . So this is very medicinally good for you !!
I saw Adult coloring books at Michael`s the other day (lots of variety) And final words ….thank you for reminding me to pull out Sahara Sand ! It is a nice neutral !
Stunning and rich! I adore this card the way you colored it! The multi bow elements add the perfect touch as do the dashes on the mat! The envelope is perfect! Another favorite card of yours so rich but soothing. Love it!
Sorry you missed the horse show. Glad you are on the mend and that the fur babies are probably helping you recover by wanting to stay in bed and cuddle and rest. Too bad they can’t make you some good soup or get you a mug of coffee. Feel better soon!
All elements of your card are gorgeous! I realize I have been MIA for a bit and I’m excited to grab my coffee and catch up on your blog this morning! Hope you are feeling better.
I LOVE your cards so much. Like I said before I never thought about getting the leaves stamp sets but on the cards you have posted with the leaves are stunning. I have one question. In the list below on what you use for the card ,there is Blackberry Bliss strip cotton ribbon but I don’t see any on your card. Am I missing something? Thanks so much for sharing your cards. I really look forward to seeing them everyday.
I got one of those adult coloring books for my birthday and I have to say I do find it very relaxing.
Your card is beautiful. The coloring, which looks like it took hours, is stunning.
I feel the same about Sahara Sand. I just happened to pair it with just the Always Artichoke to make a sympathy card and then added in Raspberry Ripple to the mix to make another sympathy card…very serene combination.
Feel better soon!
I always love your cards, and this one is no exception! It’s inspiring! Thank you for sharing your talent with us.
Positively (and negatively, in this case) wonderful!
Gorgeous leaf and you showcased it perfectly!
Dear Susan, What a pretty card. You are always so kind to think of some one else. I am sorry you are not feeling yourself. I know when you do not feel well. The best places to be in your own home. Have a great day. Elien Hinds
Love the card – How do you make the lines on all sides of the card?
