Super fun to the max! This little guy brings a smile to your face…INSTANTLY! Notice the tone on tone stamping with the snowflakes – this is a super fun touch!
Color…color…color & FUN – Patti always creates such a beautiful card – this is a great example of not being afraid to be bold – LOVE IT!
This is a "Susan card" – love the simplicity of it and the clean and crisp lines! This will be a great card to mass produce!
This card is just so darn beautiful, simple & classic all at the same time but I need to share with you something that Donna had on the tag that had her name on it that has left a HUGE impression on my and one that I will definitely use. I just love it, she says that she tries to carry extra cards with her, "just in case" to brighten someones day!
Below is a picture of us saying good-bye at the airport…….we just dropped Lisa off and this back drop was at the airport! What a FUN time with great people!
As wee all know – it is GREAT to be away….but there is nothing like HOME! It was wonderful to be greeted by my 7 best friends….I was a popular person but I think that they loved being at home with the "guys" – John and James did a great job! (I must admit – being away during the rain was pretty great not having 28 paws to deal with)!!!!
Please leave me a comment about Fall and I will love to send you some swap cards…..my favorites….
Watching the leaves change, soft yummy Ginger Cookies, cool & crisp weather, seeing the horses be frisky with the cool air, taking walks and enjoying the change of season…getting ready to see the kids with them coming home for the holidays!
Until tomorrow!

I love the changing of the seasons with the leaves turning. I can literally see the change as I go for my daily walk around the neighborhood. The other thing is that wherever you go, pumpkin is served in so many different way. I had pumpkin pancakes for dinner the other night. What says fall better than that!!!
So glad you had a great time. Why wouldn’t you with Mary Fish, Brian and a wonderful group of cardmakers. Lucky you. But you’re right, home is always best. BTW thanks for sharing these beautiful cards today.
What I adore about fall is pulling out my sweaters and vests and of course BOOTS! And there is nothing better than whipping up a batch of homemade chicken noodle soup, or Mom’s recipe for goulash – Comfort Food is the best this time of year. Lastly, I LOVE being inside so I can sit and card-make and craft away and not feel guilty for not being outside working in the garden. My FAVORITE time of year!
I love the cooler weather and the changing of the leaves. But the best reason I love fall is the Grandparents Day celebration at both my grandsons schools. I look forward to it every year!
Great cards Susan and all the card makers!!
My favorite thing about Fall is the change in the weather. The cool crisp air just gives me more pep and energy. I love the changing leaves, here in NY, and always take a little ride to see the scenery. Oh, and it is my birthday in the Fall.
🙂
Every year the neighbors and I anxiously await the turning of the leaves on my Autumn Blaze Maple trees. We even have people from town drive out to see them. As soon as you top the hill a half mile away you see them in all their splendor. What an awesome sight to behold!
Beautiful cards. I loved the picture of you at the airport. I know you had fun with everyone. The turning of the leaves is my favorite thing about fall. And the fires to take the chill off the air. Thinking about making a big pot of soup!
I participated in craft shows, for years, every fall… Sweet memories of makings angels from embroidered linens!
Fall is my favorite season … the colors are so beautiful (leaves, sky) and I enjoy the crispness in the air! And I think of Fall as crockpot time … lots of wonderful cooking smells in the house after a summer of grilling.
Fall is my favorite season with the beautiful leaf colors and the smells of apples and cinnamon and wood burning in the fireplace !
Love the pictures !!!!!
There are So many things I love about fall, Susan! It’s hard to just name one, but since you asked it has to be the beautiful leaves displaying a splendor of color! It’s like they are on parade for all to view. But here are a few more….pumpkins, chrysanthemums, Yankee candles burning, anything Apple baking, Hot Spiced Cider, Clear crisp views, I could go on and on, but I will leave you with a quote. “Autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a flower.”
My favorite thing about fall is the smells. Wood/leaves burning cinnamon and spices, and sweaters. Have a blessed day Tammy Jo Tanner
I love the falling temperatures and everything pumpkin!!
Autumn is by far my favorite season! The crisp air, changing colors, mums, pumpkins and corn stalks, sweaters, the sound of migrating geese and the smell of wood smoke from chimneys!! Wish it could last for 6 months!
I love the cooler weather, fall mums and pumpkins!! Also, time to start cooking lots of soups and chili!
Being in the crisp air, surrounded by beautiful colors and enjoying life is what fall is all about for me! Love the parade of beautiful cards and the pic of all of you at the airport was awesome with that background! Sounds like you had a blast. Looks like Eddie is ready for some football with his new toy and doggie “jersey!”
I enjoy taking walks in the much cooler weather and kicking up the fall leaves that are scattered here and there, depending on which way the wind is blowing. Plus, we never know when the white stuff is going to hit! I enjoy the anticipation that Halloween is coming, so will we need to bundle up the kids for their trip to where their party is located. I could go on and on, but I don’t want to bore you with all that I truly love about fall!
With warm sunny days and cool nights, the abundance of harvest, apples, pumpkins, rich, jewel tone colors that you can see everywhere, festivals and activities that abound, autumn packs a full schedule. I love it all.
Nothing like putting a sweater on and breathing cool air. The air smells musky but sweet at the same time. Pups love walking by the river. Love the beautiful colors this time of year. Thank you for sharing such cute cards.
So glad you had a fun time! Glad, too, that you missed all that rain!
One of the things I like about fall is the smell of fallen leaves. That smell is the same in France as it is in the U.S. It was a nice thing to have be the same when so many things were so different!
I hope the rest of your week is good!
Cyberhugs!!!
Getting back into a routine with school starting – fall sports – Friday night high school football games, complete with a cup of hot chocolate. Corn mazes, decorating for Halloween and Thanksgiving – and how the sky seems so much more vivid blue with the lower humidity!
Those sunny, crisp, “big-sky” days that only happen in the fall.
I’ve always loved fall for the changing colors, crisp air, and renewed spirits. Now living in Arizona, fall means the beginning of “cool” as the weather and temperatures become more reasonable and bearable. It’s nice to see people emerge from their homes and enjoy walking about and enjoying all that nature has to offer. Here, fall is another awakening! Love it!!
Fall is my FAVORITE time of year. I love the changing of the leaves and the cool weather. I love just slipping on my jeans and going out with a jacket. Fall is perfect. Not hot and not cold. Another thing I love is seeing all the houses decorated with cute carved pumpkins, pumpkin pie and making soups. Perfect time of year. I’m glad you had a good time on your trip. It’s so nice to see friends that you haven’t seen in awhile. I love the pic of your doggies. You said about 28 paws, how many animals do you have???? Have a great day
What I love most about fall is being able to open the windows and let the beautiful breezes blow through the house, snuggle up with a blanket and enjoy a cup of hot tea.
Hi Susan! I just have to tell you how uplifting your blog is to me! I love checking in on you each day and you just brighten my day! I enjoy hearing about your furry friends too! And then there are your creations—simply beautiful! Each and every one. You are very talented.
I too, love the Fall. The cooler weather, the colors of the leaves and the smell of cinnamon. Seems like that first fall-ish day I have to bake some apple crisp!
Thank you for my daily dose of happiness and inspiration!!
Ahhhh, Fall! What’s not to love? Cooler weather, leaves changing, football, yummy foods! I love it all;)
I love everything about autumn but the beautiful leaves are my favorite. Since I live in sunny Florida, I trek to North Carolina for a leaf peak every year and what a show Mother Nature puts on every year.
Glad you had a nice weekend with your Stampin’ pals!
I love the way my dwarf green cutleaf Japanese maple tree turns flaming pumpkin orange around the end of October. It’s a sight to see before the leaves fall off.
My favorite part of Fall is pulling out the sweaters and sitting by a cozy fire in the house and reading a good book. Love the crisp weather and how it makes you feel revived.
I love the colors of fall and anything and everything pumpkin!!!!! This is my absolute favorite season by far.
I love all the colors and getting together with friends to make homemade apple cider from our old fashioned apple press.
Love seeing the swap cards! What talent and oh what ideas! I missed you yesterday, I must have checked my E-mail and googling your site at least 5 times looking for you!
I love fall for the change of seasons for the richness in colors from the leaves to the rich “regals” in colors in my cardmaking and clothes. Love seeing pumpkins and mums in the yards as well as sunflowers. Oh the smells of apples baking, soups such as chili cooking, other people’s fireplaces burning, etc. Then, the sounds of the leaves crunching underfoot as well as the little acorns. Sounds of the school bands rehearsing in the early morning preparing for parades and footballs games. Then, we have countless geese and ducks flying over making their noises! I love wearing sweaters and sweatshirts too.
Oh Eddie is so cute with his new football and coat on. But, the pic with Eddie and Milo is a big hit! I know they loving having their mommy back home to snuggle in with
Fall is my FAVORITE season. I could skip summer here in PA and just do fall instead. Everything is beautiful in color here and the temp is perfection.
Apple picking, pumpkins, mum flowers in ever color……..can’t get any better in my book LOL
hugs
Fall is my favorite season. The smell in the air, cool air, color everywhere with the leaves changing, pumpkins and the harvest of yummy foods. Fall seems to be a time of relax and remember days past to me. The front porch seems to call for me to enjoy a cup of hot joe and reflect on life. Thank you for all the fur baby pictures and the amazing cards along with pictures of amazing people.
The Autumn colors are what I love best! And I get to dig out my favorite soup recipes, to simmer on the stove as the temps are now chillier. Nothing tastes better than a warm bowl of soup in Autumn.
Great cards too!
What I love about fall is being able to take our grandchildren to the Pumpkin Patch. They have so much fun and we love spending that special time with them. Oh, and I also love the smell of my Marshmallow Pumpkin candles!
My favorite thing about fall is the beautiful colors in the leaves as they change!!
Beautiful cards! Love the photos! Sounds like it was a woserful time 🙂 Fall is not my most favorite time of the year, but I look forward to pumpkin pie, Apple desserts, and curling up in a blanket.
Gorgeous cards! Caleb is especially fond of the penguin card and just designed a layout of his own after seeing the first swap. He is going to make a penguin jumping out of an airplane…he’ll design a parachute and goggles to put on him. We have gotten a TON of mileage out of the Snow Place and Friends Bundle. You will love it too, promise!
Caleb let out a squeal and yelled “There’s my friend, Eddie!” when he saw the dog pictures. Sure wish we lived closer so we could come visit 🙂 Your blog brings so much joy to all of us.
Fall is my favorite time of the year because of the crisp smell in the air, leaves turning colors, football season, the smell of food…I do a lot of baking and crock pot cooking, being able to wear “comfy” clothes, etc. I guess I just love it all! Thanks for the opportunity to win!
Fall is my favorite season because: the temperature change (sweater weather), harvesting the crops (corn &soybeans here in the Midwest), the changing color of the leaves, colorful mums and asters, hot cider and Carmel apples……
Hi Susan! I want to echo what Karen D. said….how you truly brighten each morning for me. I so look forward to your reflections on life, your inspiring creations, and how you encourage US, as I have my cup of coffee. Thank you!
Fall on the central coast of California, by the ocean, is my favorite time of the year….Shorter days, the beautiful changing light, pumpkins everywhere and time to make lots of soups. I also love my grands planning their Halloween mischief. This year, I told my 5 year old grand I was going to be a pirate and she said her grandpa should then be a PARROT! Shorter days also means more paper fun and reading great books.
I can understand why you didn’t miss the rain when you have 28 paws to keep track of as they make tracks. I love the variety of ideas shown in the swap cards. That is what is so neat about swaps.
I love fall. I joke that here in Southern Arizona we only get two weeks of it and that doesn’t necessarily mean 14 days in a row. I love the earth tones and the cooler, crisper weather. That is what fall is all about.
Fall has always been my favorite season of all……..the crispness in the air, the smell of the turning leaves. Also, picking of apples…..enjoying fresh apple cider & apple crisp. Then there is the pumpkins! WOW!! Pumpkin pie, bars, bread…….what wonderful flavors. Fall is the BEST!! Sounds like you had a wonderful weekend with stamping friends……even after a “rough” start!! Always thanks for much inspiration in card making.
I love the cooler weather without humidity, also of course here in Michigan the wonderful colors can’t be beat.
Susan, you can’t imagine how I look forward to your daily posts !! My day is not complete until I have drooled over it. I loved the picture of you, Mary, and Brian, you are so beautiful inside and out.
Great picture of you with Brian and Mary at the airport. Not ready to turn the fireplace on here, but hopefully soon. I love fall and the changing of the leaves.
Thank you for always sharing the best ideas! I always look forward to your next post. And thanks for the chance at some sweet blog candy……fall is probably my favorite season….cooler and so very beautiful!
I love the changing of the colors and the smell of bonfires. It just seems to bring everyone closer together.
Fall has always been my favorite season. Even when I was a little girl I just adored the crisp feeling in the air and beautiful fall colors. I just can’t get enough of the sights and smells of autumn. I love the cooler weather, the spiced odors, I embrace everything about it!
My favorite thing about fall is the crisp, cool air and the colors. They always inspire me with my card making.
A few things that I love about fall is the crisp cool air, the changing leaves, and a visit to the apple orchard. My birthday is in the fall which of course means a warm apple crisp! 🙂
Someone said what are your favorite colors….and my friend said “October”. Doesn’t that just say it all !!
thanks for the great swaps !!
I love Fall! The smell, the crispness of the air, the beautiful colored leaves, the bonfire smell, the apples, all the apple/caramel desserts! I already made apple caramel truffles….I’m sneaking one out of the container a day!! (shhhh don’t tell anyone!). I wish I lived in “fall like weather” year round!!
The beautiful leaves in fall is my favorite. We have a beautiful tree in our front yard to enjoy!
I love walking my dog Maggie (a rescue, the very best kind!) and seeing the trees changing color throughout the neighborhood from each day to the next. I also look forward to Chicago Bears football games on Sunday afternoons with a big pot of stew simmering in the kitchen and chilly evenings in front of the fireplace. Hugs to Eddie, Milo and the rest of your four legged family!
Well I am just getting to reading my email. Obviously I missed the 9 PM deadline! LOL I too, love fall…. the crispness in the air, smell of a campfire, and the beautiful changing leaves. I can’t wait to hear all about your wonderful weekend!!!!
I love the fresh, crisp air and scuffing through piles of leaves on the way to watch high school football. Looking forward to homemade caramel apples and spiced cider.
Fall is my favorite time of the year. I love all the gorgeous colors and although here in Arizona, I’m in “the valley” and don’t see much of that, but up north, they do. However, I’m from Chicago and they have a beautiful fall if it’s not snowing already. 🙂 But here, I enjoy Pumpkin Spice Latte’s from Starbucks, or Salted Caramel Mocha’s while I peruse my craft room. Being able to bake is always a plus because it’s too hot in the summer to do so. The cooler weather and beautiful sunsets here are worth it. Love your photos and I love following your blog Susan. Your babies always make me smile.
I am one of those people who love pumpkin flavored everything! But, my absolute favorite thing about fall is living in Albuquerque and knowing the forest week of October will be filled with hot air balloons! The sky literally explodes with color! I also enjoy the colder weather. Out means more time indoors and stamping with my 3 boys.
