There is no better way to start the week than with a simple and sweet card and when it is also SUPER DE-DUPER EASY, well ~ that is the icing on the cake that we all love! I had something different planned for today but no worries, you will see it tomorrow!
Starting today…is a special sale that Stampin' Up! is offering and one that you will want to not miss out on, all stamps are 15% off!
Also,I offer a PAW PRINTS REWARDS PROGRAM and here is the PAW PRINT REWARDS TRACKING SHEET that I offer and I think that you will not deny…it is a great one and one that I love to offer to you!
I know that we are "knee deep" into the Holiday catalog but as I said before last week, I feel like the annual catalog needs some love!
Today I wanted to showcase a stamp set,Watercolor Words and if you do not have this….EASY = you NEED it. This is a fantastic stamp that is just PLAIN FUN to work with!
One of the main reasons that I adore this stamp set is the fact that you can use so many variety of color combinations that "just work" and make you look like a pro! (well we both know you are)!
You can see that using a bold and fun color makes the POP happen in an instant but the FUN is the DSP, It is Everyday Chic and I love the sheer classiness of a great Black and White print.
Using the brush tip of the end of the Watermelon Wonder Market was all I did to make this paper have a bit of pizazz…so fast, so easy, so effective!
One thing that I think that we all have in common is a struggle with "TIME" – there is no reason why you cannot whip up a simple card like this and I think that you can agree ~ it holds a BIG punch!
Carrying out the theme of the card, I cut a 1/4" strip of the FUN Watermelon Wonder and then added the DSP. Have fun with the markers and color here and there to create the fun effect!
Having a simple card is o.k. – I thnk that many of us feel guilty by being able to get a card completed in a jif. By now you know that I gravitate to the clean and simple style….WHY???? I like it…it works ….and it is my style!
Thanks for popping in today and I have a GREAT line up of posts for you this week! I spent yesterday doing the whole weeks posts! You will be smiling (well, I hope so)
I have not given you an "Eddie Update" lately….here is a picture of him last night! I hope that you can see that he looks HAPPY, has GAINED weight….and is touching all of our hearts…..he is amazing and we are still living the motto….
Whatever Eddie wants….Eddie gets!
He is so special to us and he has become "special" to many of you….I hope that he continues to do well and make it for another Thanksgiving….as then – he will eat like a king and be loved by the whole family! He is a true gift!
Have a fabulous day and I hope to see you back tomorrow!
p.s. – Click here to see the scoop on the Holiday Card Swap – you still have plenty of time to participate and I know that you will enjoy receiving a card from a fellow cyber friend.

Great card and LOVIN’ EDDIE – So appreciate the update and thrilled he is doing so well. GOD IS GOOD! Hugs and wishing you a great week!
Simple is beautiful and that is just what this simple card is….beautiful! Love the font on the greeting and how you colored in the hearts….great tip! Eddie looks like the king of the house….glad he is doing better. Cyber hugs all around!
Simply Adorable, Susan, the card and Eddie! Happy Monday~
You made our Monday morning FANTASTIC by posting a picture of Eddie. I wish you could have heard all of Caleb’s “Oohs” and “Aww’s” and other comments. So glad he is looking and feeling better…weight gain is great in his case! About your card today…LOVE it! I will be CASE-ing it for sure. Have a great day. Give Eddie extra love from us.
Totally a sweet post today – both card and photo of Eddie! I hope they come out with my sentiments using this watercolor look. I don’t think I would have cause to use some of these word(s). But, I love the look! This card is so fun with the colored in hearts to boot! I can see me using the little flower in the yellow and then coloring in some of the hearts or polka dots maybe in yellow with the black which is another favorite color combo. I will add it to my wish list. Oh, speaking of wish – I have my second interview on Thurs for the tax/financial place! Let’s hope they go with experience rather than a young and pretty!
Great card! Clean and quick …. Just the way I like them.
Nice card Susan, the Watercolor stamp is sure sweet.
Love the simplicity of this card, Susan. If a card is too busy, it seems to detract from the msg. So happy for you and your family that Eddie is doing so well. Wish I was laying on the rug beside him in the “lap of luxury”!
Well, of course a “you’re the best” card to go with our best friend, Eddie.
Susan, you’re card is ‘simply’ fabulous! Seeing Eddie looking so happy and healthy is even better!
Hi Susan hope you had a great Birthday weekend. I like this card and the pic of Edie too.
?
Love this card! Thanks for the Eddie update. So happy he is doing well. That is great for everyone!
