Halloween is on Saturday and I know that many of you do not celebrate Halloween but this super quick idea can be used for many different holidays and also…for no reason at all other than to make someone smile!
I like “quickies like this” to whip up in a second and also it Is a great way to use DSP that you have around. Today I am using the super cute Happy Haunting Halloween Paper and I admit, I will be sad to see this leave. It is so cute and how can you not smile with this adorable paper.
Start with a 6” X 6” piece of Paper and fold to corner to corner, (point to point) and give it a good crease, I would definitely use your bone folder.
Fold the left side over and give it another good crease with the bone folder. Place a glue dot under the point to hold it down.
Fold the right side over and do the same thing….a good crease and use another glue dot to hold it in place.
Simply fold down the top piece and do the same… a good crease and use another glue dot to hold it in place. This is super easy and fun to make! (this would be fun to make with kids)
The sky is the limit in how you would want to decorate the front. Today I kept it super easy and used the sweet Happy Halloween Stamp from the Sweet Haunting stamp set.
This stamp coordinates with the Note Tag Punch, I just love that when that happens and then I popped out another to mat it behind for a quick pop of color! (I did take the paper snips to the stamped out image and trimmer it close so you could see the mat)
That is it my friends….EASY isn’t it?!?! They are addictive to make and really takes such a minimal amount of time….I have a bunch on their way to Boston for Will to give something to his class!
These are always a hit and are the perfect size to tuck in some of the Halloween snack size candy in. You could be “Casper the Ghost” and make many smile. When I worked I always snuck them on everyone’s desk before they came to work!
Enjoy this day, let’s all have a great week and until tomorrow!
p.s. – I just had to sneak this picture in – we had a FANTASTIC time with Hannah and her friends at Parents Weekend. My "joy tank" is filled being together and Milo was a HUGE hit! Hannah adored him and he spent one night on campus!!! He liked the college life!

Easy peasy and I love that! This is such a great idea – Thanks so much and thanks too for sharing the pic of Hannah and Milo – Two cuties for sure!
Happy Monday and thank you!!
How do you do it Susan? Coming up with something fantastic for us every day….what a treat for sure!
Cute and simple treat holder. Thanks for sharing. Milo’s cute too but Hannah’s beautiful!
Love these treats. Thanks for the easy directions. I see many of these in my future! Glad you had a wonderful weekend with Hannah. I know these visits are super special now that our children are older and farther. Milo is very handsome, too! Happy Monday.
What a great idea, Susan! I love this and will make some for sure! I’m thinking when company comes for Thanksgiving….I can place them on or next to each place setting. Thanks for the wonderful instructions. As for Milo and Hannah, what a sweet couple!
Super cute treat and super easy and many smiles will be on faces! Love this paper too! So glad your trip was awesome and the pic is beautiful!
Super cute goodie bags! Caleb and I will be trying these soon, for sure! Glad your joy tank is full from this weekend. Sounds like Milo had a blast also. 🙂
Super cute treats, thanks for sharing. I love this DSP too! Your daughter is beautiful…I’m glad you enjoyed parents weekend.
Tricia, I use to have my students do this with plain copy paper. I would have them fold the the back point over to the back, same as the front. Then it can become a cup. They were amazed when we went to the water fountain and regular paper would hold water. It only lasts for a couple of refills, but they thought it was pretty funny. Have a fun day with Caleb.
Love this idea — a great way to highlight that cute paper. I think I’ll treat my stampin’ ladies tomorrow with these! Thanks <3
How pretty is Hannah ! Milo looks like my sweet Gretchen of years ago and I have already made two of your cute bags and plan to put gift cards in them !! Fun Monday ! Thank you !!
Thanks for showing us how to make this super easy treat holder. I think I might have to make a few for Halloween.
Susan, These are to cute and sure look easy to make. Keep sharing your ideas, love them….Hannah is GORGEOUS, I take it she is your daughter since I haven’t been around long I don’t know everyone . Milo is sooooo cute and he looks very happy to see Hannah. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful day.
Happy Happy sure sums this up! I have seen these on blogs but not the folding directions I guess because I sure will make these! Perfect for these 6×6 paper packs too! Since they look like the fry box I wondered if people just cut them down or something. No score board needed either. Love it! I will be adding one to Pam’s box this week!
Glad you had a great weekend! Hannah and Milo are both so sweet together. I hope to have a good week too. The tax and financial place will be making their decision in the next couple of days!
Thank you for the cute idea & great instructions. Your daughter is so pretty & Milo is adorable!
super cute and looks easy enough! thanks for sharing. Great pic of Hannah and Milo.
I laughed at Robyn’s comment. When I was in 5th grade our teacher had us make these to see if we could follow directions. Of course, I could not. But after I finally learned to make them, I was always going to the fountain to get a drink!
I made several last night and had trouble – and DID follow directions. The DSP was too thick to get a good crease on the sides. That makes it hard to get them aligned neatly. I think it would look better if they were scored and then folded. But for the life of me I couldn’t figure out all the places to score. I think you might need to use the envelope punch board. Any ideas or advice?
Projects like these are the best! Thank you:-)
