Good Morning! I have had several people ask me my feelings about the Fast Fuse Adhesive and I thought that I would take a post to share with you my thoughts….especially since it is on the weekly deals this week!
Here are the weekly deals that Stampin' Up! is offering this week and remember, these items are revealed on Tuesday mornings and they go thru Monday night!
Built for Free Using: My Stampin Blog
O.k. – there are lots of great picks this week but I want to focus on the Fast Fuse Refill. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to stock up on refills as there are 25% off just until Monday night and we all know…you can never have enough extra refills!
I have a confession, when this adhesive 1st came out….I did not like it at all. I learned that the reason that it did not work for me was simple – I was not using it correctly. Watch this short video on this product.
I highly recommend that you purchase this adhesive. I have learned to LOVE it after having a love/hate relationship with it. It is SUPER strong and it is a great and easy way to put layers together, make boxes etc….
I thought that there was a typo in the catalog as the refill is just shy of 22 yards….(the refills of the snail are just 13 yards) so this is one reason why it seems to be more expensive. When you think of this….it really is a great bang for your buck, especially since it is 25% off!
As the commercial went…."Try it…you might like it" – you have nothing to lose as Stampin' Up! guarantees all of their products so if you are not happy, no worries….
Have you tried it????
The best tip I can give you is when you pull the adhesive back towards you…..go left….(make a check mark)….then the next time you use it…..go right (make a check) – this way the adhesive will snap away….it is SUPER sticky so nothing will be going anywhere!
Until tomorrow!

This is VERY helpful and I appreciate the video. Thanks so much and have a wonderful day, Susan!
Practicing with the Fast Fuse and having you be able to see what I was doing wrong was so helpful! I like it, now that I’ve got the hang of it!
Cyberhugs!
Very helpful. Thanks, Susan.
I like Fast Fuse and it does hold stuff forever !! I keep it handy and always remember to glide then check mark to the right ….glide then check mark to the left . Reminds me of Line Dancing !!GIGGLE !!
I use Heidi’s at card night and I have finally got the hang of the check mark deal but forget to go right and left and if I am using a lot that night it seems to not work as good so the right and left trick seems to be important. I am very cheap and buy my snail refills at Walmart – it isn’t the best but for me pinching pennies it works just fine!
Thanks for posting this video because I wasn’t using it right and I like I don’t like it so I will give it another try .
I tried it and loved it. Then I purchased the refill and had nothing but troubles with the tape separating I called Stamping Up and they sent me a new refill but again it separated. I followed the instructions on the video but could not seem to get the hang of it. I threw the fast fuse away and stick with snail and tear tape.
I was skeptical at first but once you get the hang of it, works like a charm. I like using it for super bonding projects and I think it is stronger than the tear and tape for boxes, etc. Thanks Susan for the tips and video!
Thanks for the video, Susan, I now see what I was doing wrong, only going one direction instead of right then left or left then right. BGuess I will go practice some more until I have it all figured out. At least I can tell my customers how to use it now?.
Susan, thanks for this updated info on the Fast Fuse. I didn’t like it at first either, but I learned through the video a while back, that snapping is perfect to get this adhesive to work well. And a quick check to the right, then left is really helpful. So I can attest, once people order it and try it, they’ll love it!
