O.k. – I can not carry a tune worth a hoot but if I could I would sing to Brian King….
"I get by with a little help from my friends!"
WHY? – When I went to Atlanta for World Card Making Day, Brian showed us how to turn a Paper Pumpkin Box into a super great box that works for not only shipping, but it is great to put a special "handmade" gift in!
When I sat there watching him do this all I could think of was my wonderful Mom….she would have said, "Why did I not think of that"
This is another great example of the simple things can make us smile! I just LOVE this tip as I have many, many of these boxes and kept them as I thought – "I just can't throw them away"
It is so simple….open it up and reverse the fold….that is it!
I hope that this TIP and TRICK made you smile! I just get so "tickled" when I learn things like this!

Fantastic! Great way to reuse those PP boxes. Your alternate card ideas for PP leftovers is super. Thanks so much for sharing!

I like that Paper Pumpkin set! Cute and pretty! The stamps to do over the DSP is an interesting idea.
Talk to you soon!
Safe travels to see Hannah!
Cyberhugs!!!!!
I had seen the refolded box one time on a blog but forgot about it. I will admit that I am lazy! I just flip the box over and put the address labels on the other side and use a marker to void out the bar codes. But, I do admit this does look nicer and you can use it to wrap a present to hand give. I hope mine comes today, I want to play with it. I like your additional cards too with their fun touches. I was remailing one of the boxes a couple weeks ago and our mailman happened to be walking through and saw the bright orange box and laughed about reusing the box. He then began telling the woman selling the stamps about how he has 3 of us who get this special box and how it is a surprise kit. He said the one woman moved who used to receive these and she would almost hug him when it came! I don’t know who that was. He told her that I made him the little BOO bag from last year with a thank you and some treats in it from the kit!
I was finally able to watch the video for this kit! Now, I know what Bridget was talking about! I didn’t notice all the gold stick ons either. Then the stamp set looks really fun! Now, I really like your extra cards you made with your signature dots and dashes and the fun envelopes. Oh, won’t my mailman be surprised when the box is hot pink this month!
Love the box tip as they are nice heavy boxes and I can’t throw them away. Your extra cards are so cute.
Great ideas for the extra materials. The tip to “up-cycle” the shipping box is perfect. Will definitely use that one too. Thanks for sharing.
What a fantastic idea! Love it! I will definitely being doing this with my boxes! TFS! π
Love the great recycling idea for the boxes. Cute remnant ideas for additional cards too!
Love the tip on the boxes…great idea! Your cards are beautiful…the spin you put on them is perfect! Have a good one and enjoy!
I’m with your Mom, why didn’t I think of that. Fantastic idea, thanks for sharing! Super cute pumpkin scrap cards too!
