Hands down, Fall is my favorite season and this year the leaves have been just spectacular ~ I love to play a game with myself and find a beautiful tree and just watch the daily chances…it truly is am amazing process – nature is a true beauty!
This is a simple card that can be for a "just because"…."birthday"…."masculine"….just a simple yet handsome card. I used a product that I truthfully forget about….WASHI TAPE! A simple strip of it makes a perfect balance and fun POP!
I wish that I could list the markers in the store below, but many of them we do not sell individually so here you go with the colors that I used. It is BEYOND FUN to color and go back to your childhood…no rules – do you remember how fun it was to get a fresh package of crayons and color away….it is the same thing, we are just a bit older!
The colors are: Mossy Meadow, Blackberry Bliss, Hello Honey and Cherry Cobbler. I used the Memento Ink to stamp the image….here me out – I ADORE the new black ink BUT I think with the photopolymer stamps….I find that the coverage seems a bit better….just my thought!
The liner is from the Bohemian Designer Series Paper and the color is just so striking! I thought – why not….continue that yummy color with the sentiment from the For All Things Stamp Set….(do you remember how popular this set was last year)….I knew that I needed to pull it off the shelf for this beauty! The ribbon is the threads of the Blackberry Bliss Cotton Ribbon….so fun and fresh!
Were the leaves pretty where you live this year? I just think it is an amazing process and I admit that as I drive I think of our colors….I'll say to myself – look at all of the Cajun crush….and soft suede….look – there is some hello honey! I am silly!
You know what today is….the day that we get a new batch of weekly deals….I get excited myself to see what Stampin' Up! has for us when I wake up on Tuesday. Remember that these are good thru next Monday evening.
One easy yet fun card…and guess what – tomorrow is the Pals Monthly Blog Hop and you will be AMAZED with the great ideas that you will receive…..for all things we are thankful for! Thanks for your time today…..feel free to email me, and have a great day – until tomorrow!

A beautiful anything goes card! Love that you used purple and washi tape too. The coloring of the leaf is magnificent. I adore fall also. I live in Kentucky way out in the country so the trees are gorgeous and plentiful in the fall. My peach orchard was stunning this year!
Beautiful card and your choice of stunning colors screams Fall! I love Fall also…..the breathtaking colors make you feel so alive and happy! Enjoy your day!
Great card, Susan. I love your coloring and the washi tape really makes it pop. Trees here have been gorgeous for a while. I enjoy the changing of the colors, but not the winter weather that follows, but I’m taking one season at a time. lol
Who doesn’t fall in love with fall? Your card is so rich in colors, love it! We have a ton of hello honey and Cajun craze leaves in our yard from our neighbor’s maple tree. I love all the colors and don’t plan on raking. Hopefully a lot will blow on down the block or Mike will mulch them with the mower. They are not in piles but a very thick layer of leaves and Ted can’t figure out why he can’t go potty as they are almost as tall as he is in spots!
I was surprised that was washi tape and had to look to see what collection it was from. It looks good on here. That envelope is perfect. Love the touch of scoring and threads too. So pretty!
Your card is gorgeous! Love the bold, beautiful colors you used and the envelope liner seals the deal. “For All Things” is one of my all-time favorite stamp sets from SU and I will keep it long after it retires since I use it all the time! The sentiments are fabulous and I love the shading of the images. I hope all is well on Randall Lane. I have been thinking of Eddie a lot lately and pray he is eating again. Please give him some extra lovin’ from his Wisconsin fan club. Hugs!
When I first saw this leaf, I didn’t like the busyness of it, but since I’ve seen your design, I really love it. I think it is because of the colors you chose and the washi tape! This stamp/die set will be on my list to buy. Thank you for a beautiful design, Sue.
Great colors. Love the richness!
This is gorgeous! Such lovely rich colors.
absolutely stunning Susan. I have some washi tape – not a lot – but have not used what I have. with your inspiration, my goal this week is to make a card and use some washi tape. I may just CASE yours since I have that stamp set and this is a beautiful card.
