I told you yesterday that the post today would be a keeper and to me, this is a classic "Susan card" – it makes me smile, it is fun to make, it is classic, it is duplicable……what more can I say! I promise that I will "ease back" on the Holiday Cards but I just needed to share this with you!
While we are having our coffee together, let's have a "chitty-chat-chat" about the white notecards! I know that many of you are not fans of them but I hope that you can see that this is a super cute card. There are (2) main factors that make this a affordable card.
- – The Note Card and Envelopes are just $6.00 for 20 and the paper is the weight of the Heavy Card Stock
2. The Merry Moments Designer Series Paper Stack – Fun, festive….WOW!
I am going to give you a super quick run down on this card as I truly hope that you will case it. It is a keeper and I know that you will enjoy making it….Remember the advice that I have shared with you…when you have the basics you can do just about anything. I realize that it takes time to build up your inventory of tools etc….but be patient – make wise choices and you'll be happy!
- Note Card size and the plaid paper is 4 1/2" X 3"….You can make (2) cards from one of the sheets of paper in the paper stack. Remember, these are 6" X 6" and because you get 24 sheets of this plaid….you actually could make 48 cards from 1 pack of paper!
- The Always Artichoke is 4" X 2 1/4" and then stitched with the white gel pen. If you do not have this color, you could make substitutions, I just like Always Artichoke with Holiday cards….
- The crumb cake is 3 1/2" X 1 3/4"
- The "merry" sentiment was cut from white and also the vanilla coaster board.. I just love these super simple sentiment framelits. Remember, these framelits are in the bundle that I showcased over the weekend but you can purchase just the framelits….and they are just $17.00 – a true classic that you will use for many, many years!
- The leaves are from the Bird Builder Punch….this is one versatile punch that makes sooooo many things! I am always amazed at how you can take bits and pieces from our punches to create totally different ideas! You can see that this little addition just makes the FUN for this card! Remember, use up your scraps or better yet, use the Always Artichoke piece to pop out the image. I used the hand-held circle punch for the berries – easy!
- Back again is the Real Red Envelope Paper! I probably should have listed this in the above for being super affordable ~ this is just a dream to work with and again, remember….this is in the Holiday Catalog and I really….REALLY hope that it is carried over but if not, I would stock up as it will be perfect for Valentines Day! You get (20) 12 X 12 sheets for just $6.00. Just think of how far this will go!
I am back home from a wonderful WET several days at a Horse Show with Hannah. It was great fun and we are both used to being in the elements….horses, dogs, fun people….no time to thing or worry about the weather!
Please feel free to email me if I can help you and remember to use the hostess code of 4JUNK3R7 if you are placing an order! WHY????? Easy – this way you will be able to earn FREEBIES from me .click here to see the post…. plus don't forget about my Paw Prints Rewards….
Love it Susan, and I really like the note cards and envelopes, took me awhile but have even convinced some of my customers?. And the Merry Moments Designer stack is a keeper! Going to case this one tomorrow.
I LOVE this card and yes, it is worth casing! Have a great day!
So cute and simple ! Love using that “Bird” punch ,but never thought of using the leaves this way for Christmas …have used that cute bird in red though . Like those note cards and they don`t require a lot to fill up your front space .
A great little card for making multiples !!
Sweet and simple…..love this card! Note cards are the perfect size and the merry is a great focal point! Definitely casing!
Oh how merry! I do, I do, I do love this card!
Merry – maybe they need to have the word GIDDY! This will be a perfect card to make a pack for friends! I don’t have the Merry framelits but I plan on trying the Thank you single stamp on there 1st. Oh humbug, I forgot I didn’t get that pack of paper ordered at card club, my order was already at $25 and I didn’t think I should splurge. No worries. Love that color combo though. Quick question, you said you could get 2 pieces of the plaid from 6×6 and the pieces are 4 1/2 x 3. Something doesn’t add up. Sonny summed it up about the notecards – it doesn’t take a lot to fill up the white space! I still struggle with a lot of white space. Amazing how the leaves and the little berries were just perfect here. Also, flat to mail! Talk about making spirits bright! This card is a smiler in my opinion! Glad the weather didn’t dampen your spirits with Hannah and the horse show!
You do the best dash dot dashes, always so neat and evenly spaced 😉 Love this card!
Hay Chris if you have 6X6 cut it in half and there is your 3″side. Cut off the extra 1 1/2″ and you have the 3X4 1/2.
Another Chris but from Arizona.
Sweet card! Love the simplicity. Will try to case.
Your card is darling Susan!
Love this card, Susan. And you are right….it is a classic. Cannot wait to CASE it!

Thanks, I guess I didn’t have my caffeine in the Diet Coke yet when I tried to visualize it! Duh!
