Well…were you taken back by the title of this post? I was hoping to get you attention! I totally realize that the hour glass has turn and I am winding down my Christmas inspiration but then at the same time….it is the HOLIDAYS so why not!
Today I am showing you how to use the "negative" of a die cut…and simply make it work!
This is a super sweet note-card size but can you see that I cut my own paper to the vertical and then used the envelopes for todays card….WHY????? I used the ones that come with the Note-cards and envelopes to send to customers with a super cute card with their new catalog….(I am going to share that with you on Tuesday)
This is my kind of card and one that is SUPER affordable! I hope that you will pop back tomorrow and see some minor and simple changes that make a difference (if you want to because I think that this card is just fine!)
Enjoy the parade of pictures and I hope to see you back tomorrow as I will share with you all of the dimensions. Making a clean card is oh…..so doable…oh so simple…oh so fun!
By now you know my style that works for me…and trust me, this is a card that you can whip up a BUNCH in no time and you will smile – that is always the icing on the cake…each and every time!
Tomorrow we will see "side by side" and then you can decide if being "negative" works for you! Until tomorrow!

Simple and darling….works for me! Have a great day!
Oh yes, I love it.
🙂
Sweet, simple and “doable” for anyone.
Super adorable and very easy….my kind of card, too! This time of year should be enjoyable and fun-filled and this card does both! Enjoy your day, Susan.
Oh I love negative cuts . I keep them to use all the time . This stamp set has great fonts . Great card …think I will CASE IT !!
I am sure I can dip into my piles of “savers” dsp and negative images to put a few of these together . Thanks Susan !!
This is a very nice, easy card where the idea could be adapted using a flower punch or die to make the negative. I love this little tree die. I’m always excited to see how you step it up tomorrow.
great card…love the simplicity AND it’s a no waste kind of card as I’m sure you did something with the green tree that you cut out of the middle of the panel!
Your card is so sweet and the touch of white signature Susan. dashes makes it sooo you. Gotta love the Merry Moments DSP Stack and the red envelope paper. Sorry to see it go! Have a great weekend!
A quick negative that turned into a positive! What is not to love about this little cutie? This makes me want to buy the bundle so much just to make this card and a few more your have made with it. I wish I could say Clean and Simple is the new me but I still can’t carry it off! I am so looking forward to seeing tomorrow’s post to see how you changed it up a bit? I guess you could add a mat of the delicious mossy green, my new favorite, between the card and the plaid part. Or, how about adding back in the tree but popping it up? Too bad there is no solid crushed curry or whatever your star color is, you could have it flowing down the negative tree as a garland. I don’t think a glimmer star would be better – I like the color you have on there now for the star. The sentiment is just really cute too the way it is. Another keeper my friend!
.like that card?
