Good Tuesday morning to all! Are we getting over the hustle and bustle of the season? It sure is fun but it sure is hard to get back into the routine. I have a super fast and fun project for you today but before we get to it….
I wanted to say that many people have emailed me about not being able to see the blog etc….my address is still the same www.simplestampin.com ~ my guess is that you need to “clean your cookies” in your computer for it to pick up the automatic link. (I must say – I feel like LOOKS WHOS TALKING!!! ~ as when I was told that my face was priceless….COOKIES???? REALLY???? I didn’t know my computer could bake!)
Time to think and play with ideas for Valentines Day! This is a super fun and quick project that takes no time at all to make. I know that you will be seeing in the new catalog some super sweet Valentines Day Stamp Sets but I also realize that there is a very limited time for you to use them!
This is a super cute little treat that does not take any stamping…just 2 punches and PRESTO! This is what I used for these goodies!
- Scalloped Tag Topper Punch
- Sweetheart Punch
You really do not need me on this one…but you know me – I love to share and help you complete projects! Using the Paper Stacks is so easy as you can cut them into 2″ strips and then use the scalloped tag punch on both ends…simply fold it in half!
I am so happy that Stampin’ Up! is continuing to come out with these paper stacks…for todays post I am using more of the “Valentines side” of the paper but remember, they are double sided! You simply cannot go wrong with getting (48) 6″ x 6″ sheets for just $8.00.
Remember, I am offering this paper in my Product Share….you can click here to see all of the details – Shares are simply the BEST way to get a great taste of everything before you take the dive and purchase a whole pack of paper!
Here is a tip…fold up the edges of the Chocolate Squares and then they will fit perfect. I also used a glue dot to hold it in place so it would not slide out. Have fun stitching around the heart and then 2 dimensionals and you are DONE…just add a simple piece of ribbon or twine and you are good to go!
Can you see yourself making these? I sure hope so as they really are super quick and easy to do! They would be perfect to have on your desk to give away, a little something “just because” – I am going to include one in the products shares when I mail them out! I always like to tuck a little goodie inside.
You know what today is…Tuesday, the magical day that Stampin’ Up! offers us new weekly deals!
Click here to see the goodies. Enjoy your day and please share my blog with family and friends….as my Mom said, word of mouth is the best way to grow! Until tomorrow!
***p.s. – I just woke up and saw the weekly deals...you could easily use the ornate tag topper punch for this. I personally use the scalloped one more but if you are looking for a bargain, this is a great deal!!!
Built for Free Using: My Stampin Blog

Your previous address included “.typepad.com” It took me 3 days to find the new site (after not seeing anything new pop up on the old one — “Oh no, I hope everyone is okay?! Oh, probably just a break from holiday craziness. Wait, no, Susan would have said. So NOW how am I supposed to get on without my daily fix from Randall Lane?!”) I guess my computer was still baking the old kind of cookies; the new ones are tastier! Ha! Happy New Year from a follower who is glad it only took her 3 days to wake up!!
Have no fear…I would not leave you hanging for 3 days…I am so glad that were a stamper trooper!!! I am glad that you like the new cookies….they still need some extra ingredients but it is coming!
Love Linda’s comment….made me chuckle this morn! These treats are so cute and easy…definitely making these for Valentine’s Day. Happy Tuesday to you, Susan!
I still chuckle when I read it! I just love my cyber friends!
I love making these treats…I just made up 4 bags worth of the Ghiradelli Chocolates (~50) and handed them out at Caleb’s school on the last day before Christmas break. EVERYONE loves them, so it’s a treat that you can’t go wrong making! I do all the cutting and Caleb does the punching.
We don’t have to worry about cookies building up around our house; we eat them as soon as they come out of the oven. HaHa. Glad we didn’t have any problems finding you though, because we would’ve been on withdrawal if we didn’t get our daily dose of Susan.
With my favorite cookie monster, Caleb….I am sure that there are no cookies in your house!I knew you of all people would have made these – I am sure that you made lots of happy faces with your goodies!
I, too, just had to bookmark the new address. When your new look arrived, it did not have the typepad part in the address as Linda says. I figured that out after I left you my message. If everyone still staring at your old look clicks on a picture, they will get here. Eventually everyone will just google your name and get here. They will know that it’s been too long for you to go without posting something! 🙂 These are adorable. I wish the retiring line and the new catalog would overlap by one day!
Great tips and thanks for hanging in there with me…figuring out the new site! I agree…it would be a FABULOUS day to have an overlap day!!!
Crazy Chrissy still has to put the score lines at the bottom (which is the middle) for a cleaner or sharper look but I love making these holders. So, quick and easy and so fun to decorate! I received one at Christmas with the little sides on it to really hold goodies. I am not sure if I have made one of those. Now, lets get me a job where I can make fun things like these for coworkers! Happy New Year to everyone!
No…no…NO – you really do not need to score them. If “type A Susan” doesn’t…trust me, a quick fold in half and you are good to go! They are so fast to make up! Hugs my friend!
Super cute project Susan! I LOVE your new look. Congrats on making top 10 in sales this month in our Pals group. You are really rocking girl. I love to see that. 🙂 Take care and God bless.
You are so sweet…many thanks for popping in and your super sweet words!
Susan these are rally cute. Are they 6 inches long? How wide? Would love to make for my daughter’s pre-K class. Thanks for all of your cute ideas.
They are 6″ long and 2″ wide….that’s why the paper stacks are great for them….you can get 3 from one sheet of paper! Have FUN!
meant REALLY……….
Susan, these are SO ADORABLE! And quick and easy! Thanks so much for sharing them.
I, too, have had to click on the title of your email for the day to get to your new blog. Today I even got rid of my cookies – not much fun as eating the cookies, though 😉 That didn’t do it either. I just read one of the comments about bookmarking your blog which I did. Either way, I won’t be missing my daily Simple Stampin’ fix! Thanks, Susan!
You made me laugh out loud!!! By now you know me and computers – my jaw was down! (I still need to do it)
Super cute candy holders! Love the new digs Susan.
These are also cute to add a tea bag or even a little poem or note. Lots of ideas for these. Thanks for sharing.
