Well…it is over – that special date that marks the annual fun of Christmas is a day behind us and if you are like me…you are POOPED! The best thing is that it is a “great feeling of being tired” as you hopefully were with family and friends.
Many thanks for the comments about the new look of the blog….be patient as it will be a positive transformation as I truly believe that you will be able to find my past projects mush faster and easier. (Now the work is on my end to add to the gallery section)
Change effects us all in different ways – I don’t know about you but when I walk into the grocery store and things have been changed…IT MOMENTARY ROCKS MY WORLD ~ but then I get used to it and move forward!
We had a fantastic day…totally ate too much but YUMMERS ~ it was so good! My brother from Europe did make it home on Christmas Eve so “mission accomplished” in keeping Eddie well as he adores him! After we get to the Blog Candy today, I will share with you some pictures of some of the dogs…
It is my pleasure to have another opportunity for you today with some blog candy…I know that this is a hard time to be focused on making /CASING cards…so I say – why not????
LET’S GET SOME COMMENTS GOING ON….
What is your choice of stamps….WOOD MOUNT, CLEAR or PHOTOPOLYMER
(I know that we have had this poll before but it has been a long time so lets see what you are now!)
Here are some KEEPERS of all KEEPERS in Stampin’ Up! Product that you have loved and randomly someone will win this! Same guidlines as before ~ leave me a comment about your preference and tomorrow we will find out who won!
I will share with you my preference tomorrow – I can hoestly say that I have been back and forth in different preferences etc!
Now to some pictures of my special friends! Eddie had a fun day! His Uncle Jay played ball with him, he took a long walk and had some yummy nibbles of Christmas delights, ( he like his Prime Rib medium rare)!!! I hope that you can see that he has gained weight.
The motto stays true – whatever Eddie wants…Eddie gets!
Not too much gets past Rosie…I have NEVER….EVER seen a dog be so attached and protective towards John than she is. It truly is a hoot and trust me, her little legs cover lots of ground on our farm in a days time!
Rosie was the one that was for sale at a yard sale for $25.00 and no one would take her….is that terrible or what – she is one great and loyal dog!
These are (2) great pictures….My Dad – isn’t he adorable! He will be turning 85 in February (I might need your help) and he adores Milo – If he would take him – I would let him have him in a second as he is the best! Don’t you love the fru-fru collar on him?
Continue to enjoy the season, I am having a great time with the family and it is soooo much fun to see and read your comments! Pop back tomorrow as I have a super fun teaser card from the new catalog and I am sure that you will be simile!

Your Dad and Milo are adorable. Rosie is so cute and of course Eddie is so handsome. As far as preference for hard question. I like the photopolmyer stamps, easier to line up for me. I also like the wood because you get a better image. Glad you have a great holiday with your family.
Really enjoyed your pictures Susan, thanks for sharing! My preference is photopolymer and I’m so happy that Stampin’ Up! brought them into their line. Enjoy the rest of your holiday time!
Photopolymer is now my favorite to stamp with. We have a dog that loves to sleep on or near people. House was full of “granddogs” and grandkids!!!!
Photopolymer is my favorite one. May the Season bring you much love and happiness now and into the New year. Blessings.
Thanks for your daily inspiration. I love your style and love when you share a little bit if your life with us. Clear stamps are my favorite but if a great set doesn’t come in clear mount that doesn’t stop me from getting it! Have a wonderful day!
My choice has always been WOOD!!!!! I can go the red etched rubber with padding but am not a polymer lover. I can “SEE THROUGH WOOD”!!!!!!! Been doing this for 20 years and am having a problem with the current revolution.
Photopolymer has become my favourite stamp to use…
My first choice is photopolymer and then wood mount. As long as I use high-quality stamps, it really doesn’t matter! Thanks for sharing the pics. I really like your new blog!
My favorite type of stamp is photopolymer. You can see right where u r stamping especially on the triple or double layer stamps
I enjoy working with the. Photocopier the best. It’s so easy to work with.
Photopolymer because they are so easy to line up. I used them for Watercolor Wings and that was it! Still love these beautiful butterflies, and gave cards made with that set for Christmas gifts this year… Such a wow factor! Thanks for the chance to enter, Susan. Wishing you a Happy New Year!
Merry Christmas, Susan! Lately, I mostly purchase the clear mount stamps.
Oh YES, great pictures! I love memories.
My favorite type of stamp is still the photopolymer. I do wish #1, there was a better storage solution than the plastic sheets. I’ve tried on the sheets and on the inside covers of the cases. #2, I wish they didn’t stain so much. These are two minor opinions which do not stop me from using them at all!!!
🙂
I’m enjoying using the photopolymer stamps. Used them for all my Christmas cards this year! I still like the wood too but don’t have too many of them left! Thanks for the chance to win!! Have a great weekend!
Photopolymer is pick. It helps me if I have to stamp it more than once.
Your dad looks great….so festive! In my never-ending quest to produce a card with script that’s not crooked, I prefer the photopolymer.
What wonderful memories you created yesterday! Thanks for sharing the pics with us. I still like photopolymer stamps best…I can line them up easier. I’m not wild about the staining but am getting better at coating them first with versamark so they don’t stain as bad! Thanks for offering blog candy again.
Loved the share of your family and “fur babies”. I’m leaning more toward the photopolymer these days. Its easier to line up and it IS see through. I hate they stain so bad, but I know it doesn’t hurt the quality of the stamps. Glad you had a nice Christmas with family and friends. Hugs!!
Love your Christmas photos! Thanks for sharing. Photopolymer gets my vote. There is a bit of a learning curve to get it to stamp perfectly, but so worth it. Easy to see…adheres to the acrylic block…easy to store. What’s not to like!
I have to say that my favorite stamps are photopolymer. I love that I can see through them to get the placement just right. However, for large stamps, I really prefer wood mount for their ability to get good coverage.
Happy Boxing Day!
Love your new site! My stamp choice is photopolymer because I don’t need to use the stamp positioner to get a straight image. I like the clear stamps but have trouble with them staying on the blocks. Anyone have a tip for this?
Loved your Christmas pictures. Milo is my favorite. I too enjoy using photopolymer stamps. The placement is always right. Merry Christmas to one of my favorite bloggers.
Photopolymer is my first choice, then clear, then wood. Thanks for sharing your pictures with us. Looks like everyone enjoyed the day!
Your Dad is so cute holding Milo! Thanks for the dog update! I will only buy Photopolymer! They are so easy to use and coverage with them is so much better!
I like the clear mount stamps – it’s helpful for me to see the image on the back of the stamp for placement. Thanks for the chance to win Blog Candy!
Well, I’m “going over to the dark side” and preferring photopolymer these days! I really like being able to see where I’m placing my stamped images! Great pictures – looks like you had a wonderful Christmas! Here’s for a Happy New Year!
I am a fan of the photopolymer, love the ease of lining the images up to where I want them to be. Happy, Healthy New Year to All!!
I prefer cling but photopolymer does make it easy for layer stamping.
Lovely photos & thanks for the blog candy give away. I like clear & photopolymer. I like the cushion on the clear. The photopolymer are great for placement but they are really sticky to peel & deal with. Then you need to remember the pad underneath.
Love the new look, had trouble getting here – your old blog kept coming up and no new posts until I clicked on where a picture should have been – does that make sense? That led me to your new blog and I clicked on home and got caught up. I have you bookmarked and don’t get you in an email. I don’t know if that makes a difference. I wonder if you have others who also didn’t know you had posted after the original blog candy post but couldn’t see your new look…
I love clear stamps (photopolymer) and will choose them first every time if I have a choice for the ability to see through them and for cost.
Happy New Year!
Clear!! BUT, I love the photopolymer for sentiments.Merry days, and thank you fir working so hard for us.
I really like the photopolymer stamps but had issues with one while making Halloween favors while using the old ink pads. So I guess I still love the clear stamps with the photopolymer coming in second.
I’m a dog person – have 2 big dogs- so I really enjoy the pictures of your little dogs !
Thank you for the opportunity to win your awesome assortment of SU goodies!
Love your new clean and simple blog!
Hard to decide as I like clear and photopolymer. I still have a bunch of wood ones too. I love something different about each type. Your new blog looks great!
Now that I’ve been using the clear stamps for over a year, I will choose them, if that’s an option, every time. They are totally more bang for your buck. I don’t like how they stain, but that doesn’t affect the stamping. I still have several wood mount stamp sets so I just take out Mr. Stampamajig when necessary.
Love your photos, Susan! I can’t believe your dad is almost 85! He looks Fantastic! Thank you for the update on the pooches too! So cute~
Thank You for the nice photos, I love my “Puppy” too. I think my favorite stamp is the photopolymer, its so much easier to line up.
Lovely pictures! Your father is adorable and your fur babies are so cute. I think my preference would be photopolymer. But I will use any stamp as long as I am stamping! Happy New Years.
Great pix of the pups! Great to hear your brother got home. I like clear stamps so I can see where you’re stamping. But photopolymer’s give a great clear image. Happy New year!
I like photopolymer. They are easy to attach to blocks and make stamp placement so much easier.
great pics and great look on your blog!! i like the photopolymer and the clear
Hi Susan. Great pictures! I am old school and still prefer the wood blocks. Have a wonderful time with family and give all the dogs a special “pet.”
Photopolymer stamps my favorite………no fuss….no mistakes……..just clean clear stamping. Love Eddie!!!
Photopolymer for me. Anyone with the love for animals that you have, has to be a nice person. That’s you. Happy and HEALTHY New Year to you and yours.
Great pics of your dad and your dogs…all are adorable. Photopolymer stamps are my favorite.
Photopolymer are my favorite. So easy to position.
I like photopolymer the best. Loving your new site and enjoyed seeing your pics. TFS and Merry Christmas a day late.
Clear mount!! Still don’t seem to get the coverage I like from photopolymer. Love the new blog!!
Photopolymer stamps are my favorite. They stick to the blocks so nicely.
Enjoyed the photos of your pets.
Adorable photos! Super Sweet! I am leaning more and more towards the photopolymer, now. They really grab onto those blocks and take ink really well. Take up less room, too.
I actually like them all but photopolymer is my favorite. I recently purchased wood ones and wish I hadn’t now but that is ok, I love all the stamps.
I use mostly clear & photopolymer that is my preference. Love the pictures of the dogs!
Photopolymer, for sure. Wood takes up too much space, clear still sometimes gives me problems adhering securely to the blocks, so photopolymer just seems to work best.
Hi Susan, looks like everyone had a great Christmas….I like the photopolymer stamps the best…they are easy to use and take up less storage space.
I like using the photopolymer for the same reasons as everyone else-easy to line up and take less space to store.
So glad you enjoyed the holiday. Eddie really does look great. I really prefer wood stamps especially when using the stamp-a-ma-jig , but storage became a problem. The clear mount are okay, but have to be mounted and don’t always stick to the block.. I like the photopolymer because they line up easily and don’t have to be mounted and cost less, but I don’t like how they stain and look icky! Thanks for offering the blog candy.
I just love the photos of your fur babies. The one of Milo asleep in your dads lap is precious.
Clear mount stamps were always my favorite but now that I have the hang of it, I’m really leaning more towards the photopolymer.
Happy Stamping!
Thank You Susan for the chance to win some yummy blog candy. Photopolymer is best for me. Happy New Year.
Yay! Another chance to win some blog candy! I used to buy the clear stamps but now I love the photopolymer stamps. It’s so nice to see exactly where they’re being placed and the images are crisp. Love them!
Glad you had a wonderful Christmas! I like the photopolymer, so I can line things up better!
Merry Christmas Susan…my favorite stamps are the wood because I use my stamp-a-jig a lot! By the way it was cute that your Dad was color coordinated with the stockings hanging on your mantel! 🙂
I think I like the clear best . The wood takes up more space and you can’t see where you stamp and some of the polymers tiny ones are easy to lose
I really like the clear stamps. It is so easy for placement. That being said I like the feel of the wood stamps and just use my stamp-a-jig. In other words I love them all ha ha. Love the picture of your Dad and dog. So sweet. Made me miss my Dad even more this year since we had to put him in a nursing home. Enjoy him. Happy New Year.
I like either, but the polymer takes less time to use since you can see the placement without using a tool like a Stampamajig.
Love the pics of your dad with Milo! Glad Eddie is doing well. We had a houseful of kids and grands – it was great!
PS – I would LOVE to win the blog candy!
Love the photos of your fur babies and your Dad such a special time with a special person. I love the wood mount stamps but ease of the polymer clear stamps. Would love to win thds set so thank you very much for the chance. Merry Christmas.
I really like the Photopolymer the best, then wood, but enjoy the clear too 🙂 I enjoy seeing the pictures of your cards and animals, I have four dogs myself and love them to pieces!! Glad to hear Eddie is doing well.
So fun to see your pups and your Dad! I can see how vigilant Rosie is. I am a bit frustrated at times with both polymer and clear….but like polymer best. Thanks for the blog candy fun too.
As a fellow dog lover I really enjoyed the pictures of your dog family. There’s nothing like the love and devotion these little souls bring to our lives. I like the ease of photopolymer but you can’t beat the quality of a wood stamped image.
I prefer the photopolymer stamps the best. You can definitely see where you’re stamping. Loved the pictures.
Photopolymer is my favorite! So easy to use and see where you are stamping.
Hands down photopolymer for me!
Glad Eddie is doing well!
I like all 3 types of stamps, depending on what I want to use them on. For sentiments, I like wood. You line them up straight on the block once and they are easier to position. For 2 step stamping – definitely photopolymer. And for images – clear stamps (take up less room when storing). Sounds like a total cop-out right… lol.
The pictures are so cute! I am a dog person and just can’t get enough of the cuteness. I have grown to love my PHOTOPOLYMER stamps. They make stamping so easy. Merry Christmas!
My actual favorite is the wood mounted but for cost & storage reasons I am “coming around” to the photopolymer stamps. I love the new look of your blog & really enjoy visiting every AM to get a good dose of stamping fun. Have a wonderful New Year & I look forward to many more inspirational stamping ideas in 2016!
Love your dog’s, all so sweet, the picture of Milo and your Dad is priceless. I would choose Photopolymer now as it stays on blocks, easy to position and once you get the hang of it leaves a good impression. I so loved rubber on wood, but with storage an issue made the change to clear….however I don’t use the stickers on most of mine, hate those stickers. Wish SU would go to an inked picture on cushion.
Wood or photopolymer – depends. Big stamps and ones I use the most I like the sturdiness of the wood, but for placement or layering I love the photopolymer ?
Aww love the photos! (Who would dare sell a dog at a yard sale?!?) I think wood stamps are the most reliable in quality but i prefer the ease of the clear and photopolymer. Yes, I know…stamp a ma jig lol
Oh boy, the treats keep coming with blog candy! I prefer the photopolymer then the clear mount and then wood mount. I used a few wood mounted stamps this past week and they seemed so odd esp the one I had to put on the wood block since I had never used that stamp. I like to see what I am doing I guess is my rationale.
So glad you had a great Christmas and your brother made it back safe and sound to play with Eddie. Love the photos of Rosie waiting for her dad and Mile with your dad! We can never have too many fur baby photos!
Looking forward to tomorrow’s post. Hope you and your family continue to have a great weekend and a wonderful holiday season!
So happy that Edie is doing well and enjoyed your brother and the holiday! I love photopolymer stamps best. It is easier to place them and cost effective.
Love seeing your pet pics. Love clear mount the best. Wood takes up too much room, and i dont believe photopolymer will endure for the ling term.
Such fun photos from your day of celebration! Photopolymer are my favorite. They are so easy to place since you can see through them. Enjoy your company and the leftovers!
Good Morning Susan! Photopolymer is my favorite choice of stamp sets. It helps me to get my word placement exactly where I want it to be.
Your Dad looks sweet with Milo lying on his lap. It made my heart happy.
Barbara R.
Hi! I love photopolymer and would not mind paying extra for it. It’s interesting to read that someone prefers wood. Photopolymer allows me to skip the anxiety of properly placing the sticker on the rubber or the rubber on the wood! I can get a perfect image every time. For us perfectionists, this is a major lifesaver, to have photopolymer options!
love the frilly collar. Happy Holidays
Hi Susan. Will you re-post your Black and White with Bling post? I can’t locate it on you new blog site. Thanks.
Merry Day after Christmas. Photopolymer is my favorite, followed by clear. DOGS are my absolute favorite! Rosie looks just like our Rascal who is two and rules our home.
I like the clear, but,of course, will always use whatever image I want at the moment. Too many good ones on wood to just let them sit!
The photos of the dogs are too cute.
Now that I learned to never adhere the picture to the clear stamps I have to say they are my favorite. I accidently ordered wood twice last year and YIKES I had forgotten how much trouble they are to line up. Keep blogging! I enjoy them all!
Nice photos of your Dad and Milo . . I like the photopolmyer they are so much easier to use.
I’m still having trouble with some clear stamps sticking to the block so it’s photopolymer for me. Thank you!
I love that your blog pictures and posts show up in my email with PICTURES instead of having to come to the blog to see it all. It sure saves me time. I love your blog, but sometimes just have time for a quick peek and now I can see that!
LOVE the picture with your Dad and his sleeping friend. Just too cute!
I’m totally clear stamps these days. Except for my “old favorite” stampin’ up sets from the past.
Clear mount is my favorite, but I still prefer wood for large images and I also love the economical value and ease of placement of photopolymer stamps for word sets.
I love the ease of using photopolymer but if I love the image, it really doesn’t matter!!
My favorite type of stamp is photopolymer beacause I love that you can see where you are placing the stamp. The dog pictures are adorable.TFS!
I like photopolymer because I can see through it, but I don’t feel the ink always covers very well. Merry Christmas!!!!
Originally I was an all wood gal, but I am liking the photopolymer more and more. Hate, absolutely HATE, the clear stamps! I have issues with them sticking to the blocks.
Eddie looks winderful!! We are delighted to see a recent pic of him where he doesn’t look worn out. And your dad looks amazing!! I do hope you let us in on making him bday cards. 🙂
I almost forgot…my favorite stamp sets are photopolymer now!
Continue your celebration with family! Hugs to you.
I love them all but for different reasons. I love the wood because of the feel and being able to see them all lined up on a shelf if I wish; I love the clear mount for ease of lining up everything; I love the photopolymer because they stick to well to the blocks!
I am a traditionalist at heart – still liking the wood mount. I do like the photopolymer- but most often purchase clear because of the cost savings!
My favorite is the photopolymer as they adhere so easily to the blocks and stamp images clearly every time. Those are also a bit less expensive. I do however prefer the wood mount in the single large image stamps!.
My favorite: photopolymer.
Your home is beautifully decorated, and your Dad looks grr-eat.
Thanks for sharing.
I I really like the clear stamps. I also like the photopolymer because you can see exactly where you want to stamp. Thanks for the chanceto win this stamp set and paper. Love hearing about your dogs and family.
So happy to see all the pictures of your fur babies (and your dad enjoying Milo) ! They are adorable. I prefer photopolymer stamps and wish all the stamps were available in photopolymer ! I love the ease of stamping with them ! Happy New Year Susan ! Love your blog !
Great pictures of your furry people. I like the clear stamps better than the wood , but the photopolymer make it easy to see where you want to stamp. The photopolymer and clear stamp cases are thinner and allow more room for more stamps. It is a storage thing with me.
PHOTOPOLYMER is the best stamping surface by far!
I like clear the best. Loved your pictures! Always interested in your pets and other family members!
I like wood the best still because they are more sturdy. I especially like them for large stamps.
Thanks Susan for sharing the pictures the pets and the people that you love. A very warm Christmas share indeed. My own favorites for stamp type keep changing. I always love rubber but the photopolymers are beginning to take over my craft room! Love that they stick easily to the blocks…that I can rinse them to clean and like the clear mounts they don’t take up much space on my shelves. Love the prices too! In the rubber category the price differential and ability to place them more easily and create collage type mountings send me to the clear mount category. I do love the wood blocks for background stamps and sets I’ll use the Stamp a ma jig for or the little itty bitty stamps. For those having the wood is a must. So call me fickle…I love them all. lol
Photopolymer is my favorite. Love the ease of lining the stamp perfectly where you want it. Always seem to have trouble getting the clear stamps to adhere to blocks.
I love the PHOTOPOLYMER cause you can see thru them!!
I love the photopolymer best because I can line them up! I do wish there was a way to get them clean even with red and black.
When the photopolymer stamps started to be offered by SU I didn’t think I would like them. But infact I am loving them.
