Good Morning! When I see an Ice Cream Cone…I say YUM! There is nothing like an ice cream cone…all the way to the end of the sugar cone! We have a little local place that has the BEST Ice Cream and my favorite is coffee that has little specks of dark chocolate! This paper is FUN and as you can see it SCREAMS for ICE CREAM!
Today is the Pals Paper Art Challenge and this week it is a color challenge . The colors below are the palette that we are working with this week and I hope that you will POP over to the Pals Paper Art Website and see all of the great projects that the design team came up with and then how about finding some “me time” to create something using these colors!
I love straight forward cards like this as they are simply classic. When you are in need of a card in a jif, this would be one that would “fit the bill” for just about anyone. This stamp set is a Hostess Stamp set in the annual catalog and I think that this font is a true keeper! You can see in the below photo of the stamp set that there are many fabulous sentiments to add to this bold “Happy Birthday” stamp!
There is a great way for you to have this stamp set. Email me and I will be happy to set you up with a hostess code which can be open for a month and it will give you time to get orders from family and friends all over and then you can earn rewards, The best thing is….the products get shipped directly to your friends and they do not have to wait for you to close your event. Email me, I am happy to clarify this simple way to have an event!
Isn’t is just amazing what we can do with paper? You can see the simplicity of this but at the same time, the WOW is there. I know that we all struggle with the “time thing” and you can see that this card is fast and easy!
I know that it is super hard to see, but I did score the above and below of the sentiment…this adds a simple yet effective touch!

I have a confession…after I finished the card I looked at the palette for today and I thought it was blushing bride that we were using….but it was pink pirouette…..now worries – a quick pop of stars did the trick but the real keeper is the enamel dots – I just love the instant FUN it brings!
Doing one of my favorite ways to dress up an envelope (plus it saves paper and you can use a 2″ X 6″ piece of DSP so you can line 10 envelopes from one sheet of paper) – I add a 1/4″ strip of paper to the top and then add the dsp below…let it dry and then take yours scissors and trim away! POOF – you are DONE!!!!
My errands days was successful and I know that I will have a great day today as I have my coffee! YIPPEE…I need my coffee in the morning! Thanks for popping in this morning….I know that you probably have many friends and family that would enjoy this card – another example of SIMPLE WORKING!
I would adore to see you earn this hostess stamp set, feel free to get in touch with me and I will help you reach your goals – it is sooooo much easier than you think! Have a great day,,,,,

What a super cute, easy card to pull together. I like the colors and the DSP and the font of the sentiment really make it special. I agree it could be for anyone. I hope your snow is melting and you are getting back to “normal”.
Your card stirs up many fun memories from my childhood with the yummy ice cream pattern. Love it!! Glad to hear you have your coffee now–believe me, I understand its importance. 🙂 Give our love to our 4-legged friends…especially sweet Eddie!!
Yum! For sure! You impress me everyday with your simple style yet delightful creations. I am having so much trouble creating cards
Susan, perfect quick formula card. I’m going to make up s bunch like it with different sentiments to give to my mom and mother in law as they cannot get out shopping for cards. Thanks as always
Susan your card is so charming, love your simple detail.
LOVE! Also love the new look for the blog….and that I get the whole feed in my email. I’m another Demo (10 yr) in CA and I too love things organized! How are you organizing your DSP? I’m doing a little survey to gather suggestions…..Thx. Loved the snowy pictures. I was raised in the Adirondack foothills so I remember snow adventures quite well!
Simply Susan or simply classic, either way it is simply the best! What a great card! Here is the scoop, I noticed the scoring right off the bat and thought that is so cool! The little enamel dots are just the sprinkles on top. I am wanting some mint chocolate chip ice cream after seeing this sweet card. Your coffee flavored ice cream with chocolate sounds divine too. Love to “lick” the envelope to seal it. Just so fun and festive!
Now all us commentators need to get together and place a little order for each other so we can get this fun set plus we would each could get Sale-a-bration goodies! That is one bad thing about living in a small town with several demos in the area I can’t get people to place orders or come to a party! But, I do have several happy birthday stamps that probably would work just as well for back up!
GORGEOUS! SCRUMPTIOUS! Yum yum is right!!!
