Good Monday Morning…are you smiling? 🙂 I sure hope so as here is a bouquet of flowers for you! I have blogged this card before….but I have made some fresh changes for you….after all, I am sure that the old flowers needed some fresh water! 🙂
I am still referencing back to the question I threw your way the other day about how do you go about in making a card. I totally feel that if you have a card that works…do it and use it over and over! If it worked for you the first time…than guess what???? It will work for you again!
You can see that there are so many ways for you to create this fun card…change up colors of the flowers…use fun prints for a vase. The key to this card (in my eyes) is to use stampin dimensionals to pop up several of the flowers.
The over all size of the card is a 5″ Square Card….this is super fun….there is nothing like a square card. True it does require extra postage but I think that we can all agree, it is well worth it!
The white base that the flowers are on is a 4 1.2″ square and then I matted it with 1/8″ larger mat in So Saffron. Before you adhere the white to the saffron take it to you scoring tool and add some embossed lines (if you look close you can see that I did 2 lines on the left and right sides and 1 lines on the top and bottom.
The vase was made with the Circle Framelits, #7 framelit. I am super limited with my supplies while I am away from home so I used the gel pen to add some fun to the flowers and some subtle candy dots!
By now you know how I roll…just go for it! The sentiment is from the Greatest Greetings Stamp Set (Occasions Catalog) and the fun and fresh sentiment of “sending smiles” did the trick. Doing a super fast stamp on a scrap and then mat it….makes it fun and interesting – try it, I know that you will like it as it is super fast!
The finale of this FUN card….the custom envelope – sooooo darn easy with the envelope punch board….it is a very easy tool to use and the best thing – it is on SALE….but it ends today! Keep reading and I will share with you the specials!
Today’s post I am really showcasing 3 products that are on the weekly deals….CLICK HERE to see them.
- Envelope Punch Board – ON SALE – $15.00 – A MUST HAVE TOOL
- Pansy Punch – ON SALE – $12.00 – See next paragraph
- Fast Fuse Refill – ONE SALE – $5.63 – MY NEW OBSESSION…it is like learning to ride a bike….ONCE YOU GET IT, YOU’VE GOT IT!….you get soooooo much more than the snail refill….with the fast fuse you get 21.9 yards versus 13.1 yards….I love it to use with 3-d’s when I am too lazy to reach for the tear and tape!
You know that when you purchase a bundle you save an instant 15% ….and the Flower Shop Bundle is a wise purchase. In the long run…you will save a bit more to purchase the bundle rather than getting the punch at 25% off and then the stamp set separately. You will see in the below showcased products the pricing for the bundle.
That’s it my friends…..I hope that you enjoyed this post (again) and I hope that I have inspired you to make a fun and special card like this to make someone smile…you all always make me smile! Enjoy the day!

Smiling! I can smell those flowers!
Hi Susan, I hope you are having a wonderful time. I love this card . . . the flowers and the colors are great, just so pretty.
🙂
I CASED your card the first time you made it and sent it to my Grandma in New Mexico. I still think it’s wonderful! So fresh and cheerful. I hope you’re having a wonderful time! Hugs.
Loved the visit down memory lane. I’m so impressed that you not only continue to create your blog each day you are gone, but that you’ve carried along so many supplies to make cards. You are a true trooper! Thanks so much for giving us inspiration each and every day!
So Spring ! Love the colors and this punch is one of my all time favorites .
Really cute mix of flowers . They are such a happy bunch !
Have a wonderful day with Milo and Stanley ! I am enjoying the Susan`s Travelog !
Smiling, yes! A very happy card! I imagine you are surrounded by flowering things being down south, now. But, that would be a terrific card to send someone in the north where winter is still going strong (groundhog, or no groundhog).
Thanks for sharing your talents!
Cyberhugs!
Yes, Susan, I am smiling at your darling spring bouquet card. I’ve been making a lot of “get well” and “thinking of you” cards lately and I think this one would be perfect to CASE for another one (or two or three :)) Thanks for the inspiration. Keep up the great work.
Great card! I’m with you that you should feel free to copy yourself over and over again.
I just recently got this stamp set and punch and haven’t used it yet so I was especially excited to see your post this morning. Love the spring colors you chose. So ready for spring, but I can’t complain as this winter has been mild compared to last here in Maine. Thanks for the beautiful spring-like bouquet!!!
Yes, I know if I was organized, I would know for sure if I had this set and punch. I think I have both. Anyway, I really like this card and if I do have the stamp set and punch I will be CASEing away. We had a touch of spring last week and now it is to colder again and possible snow. I can look at this pretty bouquet of flowers instead with the pretty spring-like colors and all.
Susan this card is so sweet. I love everything about it. I want you to know your site is still doing what I emailed you about. All of your comments go down and not across from left to right. Thank you, Ellen Hinds
I am going to make this spring card for my Mom. Love it.
