This is a BIG day…it is time for another Pals Paper Art Challenge 🙂 and then it is the last day for Sale~ A ~ Bration 😥 Wow – the time sure has BUZZED BY! You still have all day to take advantage of the “BEST TIME OF THE YEAR” with Stampin’ Up!….we all love our freebies!!!!
Today’s challenge is a sketch challenge and I hope that you play along with it! Fellow PAL Member Dawn Tidd came up with this super clean and fun sketch! You know what I love about it? EASYÂ = the door is WIDE open as to what you can do and it is one of those sketches that you would want to keep for future projects!
Do you remember that I used this concept for the Easter Egg event that I did!?!? Click here to see that post and I must say….I adore the fun, clean an simple lines of this card but at the same time…I think that it is super fun to be able to use different colors….different textures to make it have a totally different feel!
Darn, I wish that we would have more FUN and CLASSIC DSP like this one from the Bohmenian DSP Collection. The “cross hatch” pattern is a fun one to work with. I used the washi tape from this same collection.
Trying to pull it all together; I used the honeycomb embossing folder to work with the honey comb washi tape. I love the simple yet effect effect it gives. How about you? I bet that you have washi tape hanging around….pull it out and put it to use! 🙂
My signature…the beloved envelope! I did a “double whammy” on this..using the washi tape and the DSP ~ a win-win! This card would make a card for all seasons….change up the sentiment, the colors etc…a great card!
Wow. It is the last day of March. REALLY????? I personally wish that I could slow down the clock but these are things that are out of our control. Sale~ A~ Bration has been a fabulous time and I deeply thank you for your support and sheer FUN we have had!
I think that you are going to smile with tomorrows card….I look forward to hopefully making you smile….have a great day and until the NEW MONTH!

How clever! Love the way you pulled everything together making the card so well balanced. Great job, Susan!
Really cute card today, Susan. I love how you are showing us a variety of ways to use this design. It’s amazing a quarter of the year is behind us. Where did it go???
Hi Susan! For the last two days I have been making beautiful butterflies using the washi tape technique you showed us from the Easter Egg Event and today’s card. I made the butterflies from the two smaller ones in Butterfly Thinlets dies and I have had more fun!!! The sky is the limit with color ombinations! Today I am going to try the large butterfly…..this is contagious!!! You started this………thanks!!!!

Love this card! And I love your idea of using the Washi tape and then cutting it with the die shape. Lovely color combination. Cannot wait to CASE!
Every which way but loose! Love how you had the patterns going the different ways – such an eye catching centerpiece! Using the Washi tape is just plain fun at times – it looks so great with the matching DP. Of course the envelope had to match! Of course the button and twine just completes the whole thing. So fun and well done! A happy card indeed!
Susan, What a cute fun card. I love your idea using the Washi tape. I love your Easter cards you did with your group of people. You are so amazing. This card is so well put together. I love the e/b folder and having everything come together. Have a. Great day, Hugs, Ellen Hinds
Clever combination of the honeycomb designs!
Fun card is right! I love the cross-hatched Bohemian paper too. I love simple designs that are clean and classic. (Just like someone else we know.) Have a great day!
Love your use of the Washi Tape, Susan. The colors on your card, along with the gorgeous bloom, really say “spring” to me with the green and yellow. I enjoyed reading about your Easter Egg Event too, wonderful cards made by you and the kids!!
The DSP looks like linen and you’ve perfected! Love your style.
Love your washi tape inspirations! I feel the need to CASE!

I love how you used washi tape in your flower design! Adorable card!
Clean and perfect, Susan! Great color combo! I love the texture.
