A SUPER CUTE CARD WITH MY DEAR, “MR. FROG”
WOOT-WOOT…..it is Monday…it is a new week…it is a day that I have (2) posts for you!
I am soooooo darn happy that it is April 18th – 1st….my dear and wonderful hubbie will be able to end the Tax Season and be able to take a deep breathe and enjoy life….and 2nd –Â I am happy is that that later today I can share with you the list of products that are going “bye-bye” and that I will be able to see the new catalog online!
This stamp set, You’re Sublime is staying put…….just like it should = I ADORE him (and the other images)! This is such a fun set and I must say, I have never used the sentiment that goes with him…I just mask it off and use another goodie!
This card is on its way to our “yours truly” Chris R from Iowa and we all need to leave her some love and comments as she ALWAYS brings a smile to us! She had a surgery and I thought that this card and our fun comments would bring a smile to her face!
I just couldn’t resist using these eyes….they are oldies but goodies from Stampin’ Up! and I knew that she would love them. This card is ridiculously simple but ridiculously fun!
In keeping with my determination to get you to use your DSP as we all know that new KEEPERS will be with us super soon and YES, I will be doing a product share…..so here you go….USE UP YOUR PAPER….make your work space happy and clean it out!
I took this classic paper and used the aqua painter and filled in random hearts with Melon Mambo….so simple and so fun! One thing that I hope that “Mr. Frog” has taught you….you can use so many different sentiments to create a fun card.!
This sentiment is from A Dozen Thoughts (and I do not know it is is going to be carried over but we WILL know later today) Use your stamps wisely….you can make soooooo may cards from great stamp sets!
Here is the “low down” on our little sweet frog. Are you smiling? I am.
Sometimes I must admit, I need to pinch myself with how fun this is that I do.Stampin’ Up! is great. Stampin’ Up! is fun.
I have never met Chris but I feel blessed to have her as a cyber friend and a friend to many of you as she DOES make us laugh and smile!
I’ll be back later today 3 p.m. Eastern time…..to share with you the retiring list. I honestly do not know what is on it but one thing that I do know is….there is not a darn thing we can do about it…I encourage you to think of it as….WOW – there must be some great things in the horizon!
The items will be, WHILE SUPPLIES LAST….so do not wait….ESPECIALLY the IN COLOR PAPER and INKS etc….(I think that there are still people mourning over Strawberry Slush last year) so don’t let this happen to you…..
Chris R. from Iowa…please feel better each and everyday…..we need and look forward to your wit and humor. Take it easy…let “Mr. Frog” be your mascot. HUGS my friend! 🙂
Until later today….take a break from work…..
p.s. – I loved that Tricia, Ellen and Nancy picked “Mr. Frog” – he will be hopping his way into your mailbox with a super cute card! 🙂 xoxoxo

So cute and I know Chris will love it . Sending speedy recovery wishes your way Chris !!
This little googly eyed frog will surely make you smile !!
Wonder what will be leaving us today ???? Wonder What is in the new catty that will be exciting ? Oh the fun !!
I do smile when you use Mr Frog. I love that you used pink as the accent color too instead of predictable green. I’m sure he’ll make Chris smile and we all send her speedy recovery wishes.
CUTE card!! Chris, I hope you’re doing better every day from your surgery and hopefully your cold has improved already. Congrats to John for finishing another busy tax year! Have a great day!!
When I read your post last night I immediately thought of “Mr. Frog”. I love him as well. Great card to lift Chris’ spirits! We are all thinking of you and wishing you well, Chris ?
Susan, this card is adorable!! Love how you used that DSP and colored in some of the hearts…very fun! That’s a wonderful stamp set. Can’t wait to see what’s on the list of farewells… Chris R., hope you are feeling better soon! A cold while recovering from surgery is a double wammy…maybe you have many more spring flowers coming this year 🙂 Take care and feel better! Susan, hope you and your hubby can go out and celebrate the end of tax season 🙂
Susan, this is a very cute card that I’m sure will brighten Chris’ day. Chris, I hope and pray your recovery is smooth and quick and you can see progress every day. Thanks, Susan, for all you do for so many, as well as inspire us each day. Have a great day to you, your husband and Chris.
Mr. Frog is adorable! Love the pink too! Chris, I am sure this card will put a smile on your face. Sending you well wishes and toads….umm…I mean loads of hugs from NJ!
Recently, you did a birthday card using Mr. Frog with a birthday hat…that’s the day I ordered You’re Sublime!!!!! I love this set and I got a big smile when I opened your blog this morning!!!! So glad it made this year’s catalog!
Chris I hope you are feeling better everyday and that the onset of spring is keeping your spirits lifted!!!
Thanks for this adorable card, Susan!!!! Enjoy your day and glad John will be starting his “spring break” after today!!!! ?
I knew it had to be Mr. Toad or the Koala bear! Yes, I am smiling and just plain happy to see the card and so many well wishes. I have been wanting to see him with googly eyes just see if it makes him more adorable. I “toadly” think so! What is the difference between a toad and a frog?
I have my follow-up tomorrow and the second surgery 5/4. They are pretty darn tooting certain there is no tumor involved but time will tell on that. I have not had a cold for a couple of years and this one is a doozy! It kept me up all night. But, after Mike went to work I managed to take a nap. Ted and I took a little walk this morning and looked at all the pretty flowers blooming. We have an Tulip Festival 5/5 to 5/7. I am sure there will be thousands of tulips still out for that. I hope to have Ted at camp during that time so I can recover a bit from the second surgery. He loves being the unofficial welcoming wagon to all the thousands of visitors coming to town. But, he will still have Saturday at least to meet and greet. Some of the college kids wanted to find him a dutch hat to wear and wooden shoes. I don’t know if he would stand for that.
Thanks everyone and I will pop back later to read comments and see what’s on the list.
Dear Susan, Your card is sooooo totally cute. I know that Chris will love it. I am so happy that John will be a free man very soon. My parents also did income taxes in our basement. It was always a tough time for my parents. We could not wait to see my parents come out of the cellar after a very long day and night. I know how hard you work. Chris I am sending lots of prayers your way. May God be with you. I hope there is no tumor and if there is that God can hold you in the palm of his hands and walk with you. I always enjoy reading your comments on Susan’s site. God Bless you Always. Thank you Susan for being such a compassionate lady. And allowing all of your cyber friends to share love and compassion for you and your family and also for Chris R in Iowa. Have a great stamping day everybody. Love, Ellen Hinds
Hi Susan, Oh thanks a bunch! I think I may have to get this frog. You are just so funny. Chris R! What happened? I hope it was not too much of an emergency! I hope you take care of yourself. Feel better soon.
🙂
Just had decided to buy Sublime! You just gave me another reason to buy this set! Thank you for your project!
Will send a get well sooner shout from Fl. I know how you feel! I fell 3 days ago. Am now wearing a black boot! So much pain! Will grin and bear it and pray that the good lord helps me with my pain and that I get well sooner! If I can get to my supplies, Stampin Up will go along way to make me feel better! Get well sooner!
